Job Chapter 1

Introduction

The Book of Job is a historical-story, corroborated by a Revelation of what took place in heaven, and given to whosoever was the writer.  Chapter 22:22, suggests that the writer already knew about Torah and could have the revelations of what happened in heaven. So, could it be Moses or Seer of David or that youngest man Elihu .... ? Notwithstanding, This book is an event in the history of children of Adam/human-beings in their fallen state; when satan itself raised a challenge against the gift of Justification of man from God or against the only Hope for salvation of mankind. The conquest of Job is a victory for all, while satan was banned from having access to the Throne of God (Rev 12:9). Wrong Reference will only produce wrong Inference. Hence, there is need for this GAM translation.  Jehovah is the creator of both human and Angelic Elohim (mighty ones pluralized). God is good, forever to be adored and there is no evil in HIM. HE never and will never permit evil. It is either you absolutely know HIM to be so or you partially do. The permission was actually a trap to satan who for the first and the last time, would go ahead to punish an innocent man without a cause. Job never curse himself in Job 3, and the response of Jehovah finally put to rest, the seven days long and painful argument from his so called friends who thought God is like human elohim or angelic elohim like satan, who will question the prerogative right of God to justify HIS Beloved, gratis. Happy reading.

Job 1

Satan is challenging the gift of JUSTIFICATION of mankind

1 There was a man in the land of Uz (Gen 10:23), by name Job - he is pious, upright, a morally reverent one to the mighty ones/heavenly Elohim, who turns away from evil:

2 he born seven sons and three daughters:

3 his possessions are seven thousands flock of sheep, three thousands camels, five hundred paired/yoked oxen, five hundred asses, and many working/serving servants - and the sons of this man were great in those early period:

4 on certain days, this man will walk around to his sons to make a feast for the family - and send to call their three (sisters) for eating and drinking;

5 Job does this in those days. On the day, the feast come round/circulate, Job will send out things at dawn to shoulder (responsibility) to consecrate them, by mounting up burnt offering according to their numbers and to bless them - because Job says, perhaps my children have sinned/made mistakes against the mighty ones (Elohim) in their mind/heart.

6 on coming to such a day for his sons; the (heavenly) elohim are also stationed/placed (around) Jehovah, and satan/opposer also came into their midst:

7 Jehovah says to satan, (seems) there is nowhere for you to go. And satan answers Jehovah and said, just walking around the earth, with whip/to push them to and fro.

8 and Jehovah asked satan, why did you put your heart on MY servant Job on earth, a pious, upright man, who is morally reverent to the mighty ones (Elohim), and turns away from evil?

9 satan answers Jehovah, and asked, why is he reverent to the (heavenly) mighty ones (Elohim)? Because it is by gratis/without any cost -

10 - how his family are fenced in/covered over, round about, and the activities of his hands are blessed and his possessions break forth/increase on earth?

11 send out a hand, to touch him on the contrary, (that is), NOT to bless  him from Your Presence:

12 and Jehovah said to satan - I will send out a hand, and satan goes out with a HAND from the presence of Jehovah:

13 on the day, which his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine with the family of the, first-born brother;

14 messengers came to Job, and said, when the oxen are plowing in silence and the asses are being fed, there was a hand:

15 Sheba people (of Ethiopian region of Gen 10:7), take hold of the edge of sword to slay the servants and they fell down - but I escape to boldly declare to you:

16 (another) rehearsed on coming and said, fire from (heavenly) Elohim fall down from the sky, and burn the flock of sheep, and the servants are devoured, but I escape to boldly tell you:

17 (another) rehearsed on coming, to say, the head (masters) of Chaldeans are positioned/put into three and they take hold of all the camels to stripped them off, and slay the boys with the edge of the sword - but I escape to boldly declare to you:

18 (another) came and rehearsed to say, your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine with the family of the first-born brother;

19 great was the Spirit from the region across the wilderness, which touch the four corners of the house. The boys and the girls fell down and died - but I escape to boldly declare to you:

20 then Job arose and tore his mantle/outer-garment, shaved his head, and fall down upon the earth, prostrated in worship,

21 saying, they came out stack naked through their mother's womb and have returned stack naked, Jehovah has given (nathan), and Jehovah can take them - I bless the Name of Jehovah.

22 Job was given unsavory things/slime by (heavenly) elohim, (so as) to trespass/make mistakes.

Job Chapter 2

Job 2

Satan would not give up on Its challenge (punishing innocent man without offense)

1 On coming to such a day for his sons, the (heavenly) Elohim are also stationed/placed (around) Jehovah, and satan/the opposer also came into their midst:

2 Jehovah says to satan, you have been going to the Islands/continents. And satan answers Jehovah and said; just walking around the earth with whip/to push them to and fro.

3 and Jehovah asked satan, why did you put your heart on MY servant Job on earth, a pious, upright man, who is morally reverent to the (angelic) Elohim, by turning away from evil? - (direct quote from Job1:6-8)

- But, he is strong and fasten to his amazing-innocence, though you have moved/stimulated to swallow him up gratis/without a cause:

4 satan/opposer answers Jehovah, and says, a man will give his soul for the complexion of his skin:

5 send out a hand, on the contrary and touch his bones and flesh, instead of blessing him from Your Presence:

6 Jehovah told Satan - MY HAND will preserve his soul;

7 satan goes out with a PALM of hand from the presence of Jehovah, and struck Job with evil: there are boils/ulcer from the top of his head to his feet,

8 only for him to sit down in the midst of ashes, and take an artisan-tool to scratch himself.

9 then his wife said,  you are still strong and fasten to your amazing-simplicity of blessing/speaking well of the (Angelic) Elohim. Why did they die? (quote: referring to the children

10 but Job said, why do you speak/rehearse  as one of villains or anti-heroes? If I will admit/accept to sin with my lips; tell me ALSO, is it an evil thing that should be received from angelic elohim for good thing?

11 Job's three friends heard of the evil and they are to come; each man has to wander and come from his place - Eliphaz, the Temanite, Bildad the Shuchite, and Zophar the Naamithite - fix appointment together and they came to console him:

12 as they lifted up their eyes from distant, and he was unfamiliar to them, they lifted up their voices, and wept - each man tore his mantle, and sprinkle dust to the sky upon their heads:

13 having seen his sore pain, they sat down on the ground and for seven days and seven nights, they amplify the matter by things they rehearsed.

Job Chapter 3

Job 3

The first submission of Job

1 Job opens his mouth wide, and trifle with/make light of the hind parts of his days

2 Job answers and say; -

3 it is said, even a warrior/valiant-man who was conceived in a night and was born, will be lost on a day.

4 In a dark day - demand for daylight from the Extremely Mighty ONE (eloah eloah) who can shine/radiate light from above:

5 and at this time, those who dwell in the obscurity/blackness of the cloud and in the darkness of the shadow of death, all day will be redeemed.

6 even the number of days and months and years, that darkness of the night has taken hold of them will go sharply;

7 they will come and jubilate after all the nights of loneliness; -

8 like a day of Arar or (heartfelt suspense lifted up to heaven), when (you) are awake and be ready to puncture crocodile,

9 because, from the dawn till that day darken, the eye-lids will be expecting to see the light of the stars.

10 should you hide your eyes from their toiling, the door to your belly should be shut down.

11 Why the belly, when they will still die? And why coming out of the womb when they will still give up the ghost?

12 Why projecting breasts to give suck on her knees?

13 When he will still lie down in silence, and be comfortable as though sleeping.

14 The kings are advised to build the ruined places of the earth;...

15 .... but the chief-men are filling their houses with gold and silver/money.

16 Falling down (of pregnancy) would have hid an infant (to be exploited) from seeing light.

17  irritation/commotion that would have come from wicked one, because of his strength would have been ceased, and he would be resting.

18  the prisoners altogether would have been at ease when they hear the voices of those that are coming near them;

19 if the lord of eden (aDon aden) has freed/exempted them, both small (katan katan) and great servants.

20 Light should have been given to the living souls, instead of the toiling and bitterness -

21 - of digging up/exploring for hidden treasures as they also await (a place of) death.

22 how did they find themselves in the grave? When they should be happy and be cheerful for ages.

23 when  the way of the Extremely Mighty ONE (Eloah eloah) is hidden, how will the warriors/valiant men be covered over or be protected?

24 Sighing and roaring, will come, in the presence of food, and outpouring of water:

25 fearful things that scare/startle will arrive and even what you fear will come:

26 instead of being in safety, and be resting and be comfortable; - irritating/annoying things shall come.
