Parable of the Sower with seeds on different Soils (1)

1 In that day, Jesus comes out of the house, to sit down near the sea.
2 And great crowd gather together unto Him, so that He embarks onto a boat to sit down, and all the crowd stand upon the shore.
3 He tells them many things in parables, saying, behold, a sower proceed forth to sow.
4 And in his sowing, some indeed fell near the road, and the birds come to devour them.
5 Also, others fell upon rocky place, where they do not have much soil, and immediately they germinate, but by reason of not holding on to a soil with depth,
6 at the rising of the Sun, they are scorched, and by reason of its roots not holding on to things, it dries up.
7 others also, fell upon thorns, and the thorns grow up, and choke them.
8 Moreover, others fell upon fertile soil, and yielded fruits, which indeed are of hundred, and some of which are of sixty, and of which some are thirty.
9 those who have ears, will listen.
Reason for teaching by parables is for deeper research by the students
10 And the disciples come close to ask Him, for what reason are You preaching to them in parables?
11 So, He answers and say, because, it is given to you, to know the mystery of the kingdom of heaven, but not given to them.
12 no doubt, whoever will hold on to a possession, it will be given to him, even to abound more. But whoever will not hold on to it, even what he has, will be taken away from him.
13 I have preached to them in parable, for this reasons and they did not even understand; because, to be heeded, is not by looking; and to be heard, is not by hearing.
14 And the prophesy of Isaiah was fulfilled in them, who say, in hearing, they heard, and not at all, understand; and in looking they have seen and not, at all, discern clearly.
15 No doubt, this people's heart is fattened. They are dull of ears to hear, and their eyes closed, not to see at any time, with their eyes, and to hear with their ears, and even to understand with their hearts, and return to HIM and be cured (Ref: Is 6:9-10)
16 But, supremely blessed are you, for your eyes have seen; and because your ears have heard.
17 No doubt, I tell you, so shall it be, that very many Prophets and the Righteous men desire to discern what you are seeing but did not see it; and to hear what you are hearing, but did not hear it.
Explanations of the parable of seed sowing on different soils
18 Therefore you have heard the parable of the seed sown:
19 for everyone who hears the words of the kingdom and never understand it, the evil one will come to grab the seed sown in his heart. These are the ones sown beside the road.
20 Moreover, the ones sown upon rocky place. These are those who hear the words, and immediately receives it with joy;
21 but they have no root in themselves, and endure only for a time. However, as tribulations or persecution happen because of the word, they immediately fall into apostasy.
22 Moreover, on the ones sown into the thorns; these are those who hear the words, and the distraction of the present age and deceit of riches choke the words, and they become unfruitful.
23 Moreover, on those ones sown upon good soil; these are ones who hear the word and understand it; they will doubtlessly bring forth fruits, and indeed produce some which are of hundred, and some of which are of sixty, and of which some are thirty.
(note: grains on each fruitful plant will not be the same)
Parable of the wheats and the weeds (2)
24 He puts forth another parable before them, saying, the kingdom of heaven is likened to a man who sow good seed in his field;
25 however, as the man lie down, his enemy comes and sow weeds (tares) in the midst of wheats, and go away.
26 Also, when the plants germinate, and produce fruits, then appear even the weeds.
27 However, the servants of the lord of the house, approach him and say, lord, did you not indeed sow good seed in your field? How then, it has weeds?
28 So, he made known his thought to them: the enemy of man did this. But the servants tell him, do you prefer us to go forth and gather them up?
29 he said, No; not at this time. As you gather up the weeds, you would uproot the wheat simultaneously with them.
30 leave both to grow together until the harvest; and in the harvest time, I will speak to the harvester, to gather together the weed first, and bind them in bundles towards burning them; and assemble the wheats into my barns.
Parable of a little mustard seed, which grow bigger and spread (3)
31 He puts another parable before them, saying, the kingdom of heaven is similar to grains of mustard seed, that a man receives to sow in his field;
32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it grows up, it is the greatest of the garden plant, and will become a tree, such that birds of the sky will come and perch in its branches.
Parable of leaven flour from dry flour (4)
33 He preached another parable to them: the kingdom of heaven is like a leaven flour, which a woman who receives three dry measures of flour, hide, until the whole is leavened (fermented).
A psalmist supported the use of parables in teaching
34 All these Jesus preaches in parables to the crowd, and apart from parable, He would not preach to them;
35 however, the utterances through a prophet/speaker is fulfilled, saying, My mouth is opened up in parables, to utter things concealed from conception (of the world). (Ref: Ps 78:2)
Parable of wheats and weeds in vs 24, explained
36 Then, He left the crowd, and comes into the house. And His disciples approach Him, saying, explain to us the parable of weeds on the field.
Note: Terms in the parable will be defined first:
37 So, He answers and says, the virtuous seeds sown, are the sons of Adam;
38 the field is the world; and these good seeds are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one;
39 however, the enemy who sow them is the devil; moreover, the harvest is the consummation of the ages; and the harvesters are the Angels (messengers).
40 therefore, just as the weeds are gathered up, and consumed in fire, it will be this way, in the entire completion of the age.
41 Angels, will be sent out and they will gather up from His kingdom, the stumbling blocks (scandals), and all the sons of Adam who were doing illegalities;
42 and they will be cast out into a furnace of fire; and weeping and grating of teeth will be there.
43 Then, the Righteous will shine forth as sun in the kingdom of their FATHER. Those who have ears, will hear.
Parable of hidden treasures which a man bought with everything he got (5)
44 (Again), the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which, a man find and hide, and from the joy of it, he goes and sell all his things, as many as he has, and buy that field.
Parable of a beautiful pearl bought with all properties sold (6)
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like, a wholesale merchant, seeking a beautiful pearls;
46 however, he finds one extremely valuable Pearl, and goes away, to sell everything, as many as he has, and buys it.
Parable of catching fishes with net (7)
47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a fishing net, which is cast into the sea, and gather, out from all kindred/diversities of races.
48 and which, when filled up, it is hauled upon the shore, and they sit down, to gather up the good into receptacle, but they cast the corrupted ones outside.
49 it will be this way, in the end of the age: Angels will proceed forth, and separate the evil out of the midst of the Righteous,
50 and throw them into the furnace of fire, and weeping and grating of teeth will be there.
51 (Jesus said) did you understand all these things? They told Him, Yes, (Lord)
52 He also tells them, by this reason, all the Scribes, who will be taught/discipled into the kingdom of heaven are like new-age-men, which the master of the house, ejected out of his old treasure.

53 And, it comes to be, when Jesus finished these parables, He departed from there;
54 and, He came into His own native town, and taught them in their synagogue, such that, they were amazed, and said, from where is the wisdom of this Man and the miraculous power?
55 Is not this the carpenter's Son? Is not Mary indeed His mother? Are His brothers called: James and Joseph (Joses) and Simon and Judah?
56 And are not all His sisters with us? Then, from where are these things of this Man to everyone?
57 And they were stumbled/entrapped in apostasy in Him. So, Jesus told them, a prophet is not without honor, if not in His native town, and in His family.
58 And He did not perform many miracles there, because of their disloyalty/unfaithfulness.
