Mathew 10
A teacher reproduces himself in his students and keep no secret including transfer of unction, free of charge.
1 And He summoned His twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that, they will cast them out, and will minister healing to the entire diseases and any debilities.
2 Moreover, the name of the twelve Apostles are these: First, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew, his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
3 Phillip, and BarTholomew, Thomas, and Mathew, the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and [Lebbaeus named] Thaddeus;
4 Simon the Cannanite, and Judah-Iscariot, who even betrays Him.
Instructions for the disciples for their SIWES 1 (students industrial work and experience scheme)
Note: Samaritan and the Rest of the world were still exempted here
5 Jesus sends forth these twelve, commanding them, saying, do not go into the route of heathen-nations, and do not enter into Samaritans cities;
6 but rather go towards the perishing sheep of the household of Israel.
Preach and perform miracles
7 Go forth and proclaim, say, the kingdom of heavens is approaching.
8 heal the sick, raise up corpse, cleanse the leper, cast out demons; you have received freely, give freely.
The prepared persons will meet your needs in mission field.
9 Never acquire gold articles, not even silver (money), not even copper - in your band/belt,
10 no food-bag on the journey, not even two coats, not even sandals, not even a stick: because, a labourer deserve his wages.
11 however, into whichever city or village you possibly enter, examine who in it, is worthy; stay there until you will possibly proceed forth.
12 moreover, as you enter into the house, salute them.
13 and no doubt, in case the house is suitable, your peace will come upon them; but in case it is not suitable, your peace will revert towards you.
14 and whoever possibly will not accept you, nor hear your words, get out of the house or that city, and shake off the dust of your feet.
15 I tell you, so shall it be, (g)amorrah of Sodom land (heap of scorched land near dead sea) will be more endurable (as per the heat) in judgment day than that city.
16 Behold, I send you as sheep in the middle of wolves: therefore become sagacious (wise) as it were serpent and unadulterated/unmingled as it were pigeon.
Both inter and intra Persecution is inevitable
17 Be cautious of men, because, they will deliver you unto Jewish joint council, and flog you in their synagogues;
18 and lead you before governors, and kings, because of Me, as a testimony unto themselves and the heathen nations.
19 however, whenever they betray you, be not anxious about how or what to preach: because what to preach will be given to you in that hour.
20 No doubt, you are not the one preaching, but the SPIRIT of your FATHER will preach in you.
21 Moreover, a brother will betray brother unto death; even father, to his child. And children will rebel upon parents, and even kill them.
22 And you will be hated by all because of My Name. But, those who endure these things unto the ultimate end, shall be saved.
23 So, whenever they persecute you in a town, flee unto a different one. No doubt, I tell you, so shall it be, this will not be completed/fulfilled for the children of Adam until it has possibly gone to towns of Israel. (quote: the lesson is for them not to waste time in a place).
A student should expect to do and experience same things like his Boss.
24 A disciple is not over His teacher, neither is a servant over his lord.
25 it is enough for a disciple at least, to become as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they titled the master of the house to be of beel-zebub (baal of flies:-a deity of Ekronites 2king 1:2), how much more the members of his household?
In all these, your Father cares and will judge at last
26 Never fear them; no doubt, nothing is covered up, which will not be disclosed, or hidden which will not be known.
27 what I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear into the ears, publish them upon the housetop.
28 And never be afraid of those who can kill the body, but can not kill the soul; but fear the ONE Who can fully destroy even body and the soul in Gehenna (valley of Hinnom).
29 Are not two little-sparrows/birds sold at a Roman coin (assarius)? And without your FATHER, one of them will never fall down upon the ground.
30 however, even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 therefore, never fear; you surpass plenty of little-sparrows (birds).
32 Therefore all who profess Me in front of men, I also will acknowledge them in the presence of My FATHER in heaven.
33 but, whoever possibly deny Me before men, I also will deny him before My FATHER in heaven.
34 do not think that they have come to throw peace down upon the land. On the contrary, they will come to throw dirks/short-swords (carried by state law-enforcement-agent for judicial punishment), down, and not peace.
35 Because, they have come to set men at variance against his FATHER, and a daughter against her mother, and a bride against her mother in law.
36 and the relatives of men will be their enemies. (Ref Micah 7:6)
Be totally sold out for the mission
37 the one who is fond of father and mother above Me, is not worthy of Me; and the one who is fond of sons or daughters above Me, is not suitable for Me.
38 and whoever could not take his stake/cross (self denial) and follow behind Me, is not suitable for Me.
39 the one who lost his soul on account of finding their perishing souls, even I will find his for him.
Blessing await those that accept you, not only as inspired-speaker and a righteous man but also as a learner/disciple.
40 the one who accept you, accept Me; and the one who accept Me, accept the One Who send Me.
41 the one who accept an inspired speaker/prophet in the name of being a prophet will receive a prophet reward; and the one who accept the Righteous man in the name of being a Righteous man, shall receive a Righteous reward.
42 And whoever possibly furnish the least of a disciple, only a cup of cold drink in the name of those ones, I tell you, surely, he will not at all, lose his reward.
