Heb 12
Jesus, the chief-leader and completer of faith and joy of Christianos
Therefore, because we have such a vast cloud of Witnesses surrounding us, we should cast away hindrances/weights of all competing sins, and run the race/contest, set before us, through cheerful endurance.
consider attentively, Jesus (Who is) the Founder/Author of Faith and the Consummator/completer of joy; Who was despised but endure the shame of the cross/stake set before Him, and instead, He is settling down in the Right Hand of the Throne of God.
because, by contemplating, on your own, on such a One, Who endured dispute/opposition from the sinners, at least, you will not get wearied, should your soul be loose/faint.
and towards resisting the offence, (He) certainly struggled/antagonized as far as by (His) blood.
Remember your sonship does not removed being disciplined
and (should you) forget the exhortation, some of which addressed you as sons: My son, never despise the discipline of the the Supreme Lord, and never faint/quit, for being admonished/checked under Him;
for, whom The Supreme Lord loves, HE disciplines; also HE flogs all the sons whom HE accept near HIM. (Ref: Prov 3:11-12)
Endure discipline, for, you are presented as sons unto God; what son (is there) whom his father does not discipline?
Moreover, if you all exist without discipline, to WHOM you have become a partner, ARA (heartfelt disdain lifted to heaven), then, you are illegitimate children and not sons.
After all, we indeed have our fathers in the flesh, who indeed in turn are our trainers/teachers, should we not much more be submissive to the SPIRIT FATHER, and live?
Receive discipline in faith
think of it, they indeed discipline (us) towards few days, however, according to HIM, upon benefiting, unto sharing in HIS state of Holiness.
So, do not think, all tutorage/discipline are indeed toward joy at present, but of grief; however at last, the fruit yielded is pacifying through Justification to those who do exercise with them/work (gymnazo) them out
on that account, drooping hands, and paralyzed/feeble knees, will be straightened up.
and make straight path for your feet, at least, for the lame not to deflect, but rather be made whole.
Pursue everybody with Peace and Purity, without which you have not even clearly discerned anything of the Lord;
Have a proper oversight to prevent troubles
from doing oversight, through the (general) Grace of God, anyone will not be deficient; and certain root of bitterness, which could puff/grow up to the top, and defile many will not trouble them.
anyone will not be a prostitute or profaned person like Esau (Edomite) who for one meal, gave away his own birthright.
for, you are aware that, he was rejected, as he desired to inherit the blessing thereafter, for, he found no place of repentance, though he sought after it with tears.
Glorious Zionist assembly versus gloomy Sinaist assembly
for, you have not come near, to that, which could be felt/handled, burning even on fire, and of gloomy storm and cloudy darkness and tempest -
- of confused echos of trumpet, and voice of utterances (rhema); which those who heard it, excuse/decline it, that no speech should be added further.
for, they could not bear things being commanded: even if a beast touched the mountain (Sinai); it will be stoned; (Ex 19 :12)
and Moses likewise, was appearing fearful. It was said: they were exceedingly fearful and terrified. (Deut 9:19)
But, we are going near/approaching Mount Zion; the heavenly Jerusalem; the city of the Living God, and of myriads (ten thousands) of Angels, (Rev 7:11)
to a mass-meeting/general assembly of the church of the First-begotten (Jesus Christ), and to the perfected Righteous ones, enrolled/copied down in heaven; by the SPIRIT of God, the Judge of all;
and to a Covenant by the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus, the fresh/new Mediator, preaching better things besides Abel.
One more time of thorough shaking of all the shakables, leaving only the unshakable behind: no turning back.
Take heed, never to decline (shun) the One preaching. For, those ones (at Sinai), declined the one who was divinely instructed upon earth; we shall not much more escape, if we turn back from the One from heaven, (Heb 2:3)
whose voice SHOOK the earth at that time; but now, He has promised, saying, one more time, I will still QUAKE, not only the earth, but even the sky/heaven. (Hagg 2:6)
Moreover, to make it plain, one more time, as there will be a positional change/transposition of things by shaking, at least, things will still be made to abide and never to be shaken.
on that account, the TIMID/fearful could hold on to Grace to be unshakeable, and be accepted to a kingdom through which he will worship God acceptably amid piety/reverence. (clarifying G1169-Rev 21:8)
because, even our God shall utterly consume things by fire.
