Eph 5
Immitate God by Walking in selfless-love
Then, you will become imitators of God, as beloved children,
who walk in Selfless-LOVE, just as Christ SELFLESSLY-LOVES us, and surrender Himself for our sake, AS an offering and animal sacrifice of sweet smell aroma unto God.
Moreover, harlotry, and everything of impurity or greediness, should not even be named within you, just as it is fit/proper for the holy saints,
but be more of gratitude/grateful language which is befitting you; and not shamelessness, silly-talks or well-turned jestings.
for, you are aware of this, and know that all prostitutes, or covetous person or idolaters, who are unclean, will not have heirship in the kingdom of God and of Christ.
No one of you should be deceived by empty words; because through those things shall the wrath of God come upon the rebellious children.
Therefore never become partakers with them;
Walk in the light
because, you were once of darkness, but now, of light in the Lord; walk as the children of light. -
for the fruit of those in the light and the Truth of Justification is moral excellence/goodness to everybody.
proving what is acceptable to the Lord.
And never have fellowship together with unfruitful/barren works of darkness, but rather confute/expose them;
because, it is even shameful to say, what happen in secret under them.
however, all will be convicted/exposed under light, for light is to make apparent and shall make all things manifest.
By this reason, it is said, wake up, having fallen asleep, and Christ who has risen out from the dead, will give you light (Ps 44:23)
Walk in wisdom and be fulfilled in the SPIRIT
therefore, accurately take heed of how you walk; not as unwise, but as the wise ones.
it is hightime to buy up/ransom the loss , because there will be evil days. (Col 4:5)
by this reason, don't become unmindful, but understand what is the desire of the Lord.
And don't be drunk with wine, in which there is debauchery/extravagance, but be fulfilled in the SPIRIT,-
- by preaching Psalms to yourselves and sing songs and hymns by your heart, and by playing musical instruments/making melody to your spiritual Lord. (Col 3:16)
always expressing gratitude to God the FATHER over all (the people) in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ;
Submission in Marriage versus relationship between Christ and the Church
Be submissive to one another in reverence to Christ.
as husband is, to her own wife, so is the Lord.
for as husband is the head (leader) to his wife, and as the head (is) to the body, Christ, the Savior is the the same to the Church -
and on the contrary, as wife should submit to her husband, so is Church to Christ in all things.
Agape love in marriage versus selfless Love of Christ to the Church
Husband should selflessly-loves his wife, even just as Christ selflessly-loves the Church, and surrender Himself for the same Church,
at least, to consecrate/make her holy, His utterances (rhemati) cleanse her (like) a bath/a washing in water.
at least, for the church to be presented glorious by Himself, having no stain, or wrinkle, or anything of that sort; but at least, to be holy and blameless.
likewise, even husbands must Selflessly Love their own wives, as their own bodies. The one who selflessly-love his own wife, loves himself.
The mystery of salvation is illustrated by marriage
for, no one at anytime hates his own flesh, but he brood-warm and nourishes it, even just as Christ is, to the church:
For she is part of his body, + out of his flesh and out of his bone. +
This man instead, shall leave his father and mother behind, and join towards his wife, and the two will be unto one flesh. (Matt 19:5, Mk 10:7).
Moreover, Christ said this great mystery unto us and unto the Church.
Nevertheless, even each person of you against one, should likewise SELFLESSLY LOVES his own wife as himself; and, the wife, at least should reverence the husband.
