2COR Chapter 1

Introduction

2 Corinth was written between A.D 54-55 to express narratives of self commitment of Paul in the ministry, compare to those preachers who still wanted to keep people under Moses law. He made it clear, how bold he is, both in letter or in person to exhort. And even that, when he is at his lowest ebb, that is when God is at work mightily in him to take all the glory.

Paul in chapter 12 refused to boast of personal revelation to support his ministry to the gentiles, but rather use the trance of Peter which religiously was vulgar or NOT EXPRESSIBLE in the parlance of Jewish religion. No one should eat abominable things or dare to convince others to do so. He met Peter around fourteen years (Gal 2) after his soul got saved and was privy to the information from Peter to confirm his mission among the Gentiles.

Three times the Lord Jesus Himself exhorted Paul and gave him words to depart away from the satanic messengers who would oppose him, and which was regarded as thorns in his flesh (2Cor 12:9-10). Sufficient grace was available because they will be instrumental for him, to stand and witness before the biggest king in the land. The thorn in the flesh are his own Jewish people, persecuting him.

Also, he recommends voluntary-giving through Selfless-love 8:8, and in proportion to individual income 8:14, as a spiritual privilege (8:12), which help to send gospel far away (9:13)

2 Cor1

God is our comforter in tribulations

1 Paul, an Apostle of Christ Jesus, through the determination of God, and Brother Timothy (dear of God); to the church of God who are in Corinth, together with all holy saints, who are in all Achaia (Greece in Europe).

2 Grace from the Lord Jesus Christ be unto you, and Peace with our FATHER God,

3 the Adorable God and FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ, FATHER of compassion, and by consolation of God to all,

4 God has comforted us upon all our afflictions: to the intent of us, to be able to comfort all those in afflictions, through the comfort which we are comforted under HIM.

5 because, as suffering for Christ abound unto us, likewise through Christ, even our comfort is increasing.

6 so, whether we are troubled, it is for the sake of the exhortation for your salvation; or whether we suffer hardship, it is for the sake of exhorting you and the comfort which is working by cheerful-endurance.

7 And our pleasurable hope is sure/firm for your sake, knowing that, as you are  partners of the hardship, likewise even of the comfort.

God is always our Deliverer

8 for, we don't want you to be ignorant Brethren, over our tribulations which happened in Asia (Act 19:23-). We were weighed down for you, in so much that we were utterly at a loss/in despair of living on, because, the power against us was beyond measure (hyperbolen).

9 but, as they had the sentence of death, at least in themselves; we were not persuaded upon ourselves, but upon God, WHO could raise the dead.

10 the One, WHO could rescue from such magnitude of death, rescued us; and unto WHOM, we have hope, that HE will still rescue.

11 and from you, being co-ministers, through your supplication for us, and much giving of thanks for our sake, at least, our divine-gifts have been unto the presence of many people.

Paul boast of the hope of the Corinthians Church, having full-discernment

12 for, this is our boasting, that our testimony is in a co-perception of selflessness and sincerity/openness to God, not in wisdom pertaining to flesh, but by the Grace of God, we have turned things around in the world, and also exceedingly towards you.

13 because, we have written no other thing to you, but either what you have read or fully discerned also; however, I hope that even you will fully discern things up to the ultimate end.

14 for, even as you will fully-understand from SECTIONS (local assembly), our boasting will even be exactly as you will (boast) of us, in the day of our Lord, Jesus.

Paul will no longer come to Corinth

15 And with this reliance/confidence, I had previously purposed to come towards you, at least for you to have the Grace the second time;

16 So, I would have traveled through you unto Macedonia, and again from Macedonia, I would have come towards you, even to be aided in traveling to Judea by you

17 therefore, as I have resolved this thing: ara (a heartfelt regret, lifted to heaven) whether at all, I have taken advantage of things lightly? Or what I resolved according to the flesh, have been resolved at least, with my yes to be yes, and my no, to be no?

18 But God is faithful, that our words, towards you, are not yes and no.

19 for the Son of God, Jesus Christ, Who has been proclaimed through us among you, even through me, and Silvanus (Silas), and Timothy, has never generated yes and no in Him, but to generate Yes.

20 for, as much as the promises of God, are Yes in Him, and by reason of which, through Him, it shall be Amen through us towards the glory of God.

21 however, God WHO anointed Christ together with us has established us unto you.

22 and HE has stamped/sealed us, and gives a down payment/deposit of the SPIRIT, in our hearts.

23 however, God invokes a witness upon my own soul; that you should spare me, not to come any more to Corinth.

24 Not because co-workers are to be the one ruling over you, but your Faith is a thing of joy, for by Faith we stand.

2COR Chapter 2

2Cor 2

Forgive every one by grace and give satan no space

1 No doubt, I have decided/judged this by myself, not to come to you again in grief.

2 for, if I make you grieved, who will make me glad? If not you who are grieved from me.

3 I have written this by him who has come (to you), at least not to have grief from whom I ought to rejoice; and to persuade you all, that my joy is upon you all.

4 for, out of much afflictions, and anguish of heart, through much tears, I have written to you; at least not to make you grieve, but at least to know, the selfless-Love which I exceedingly have unto you.

5 however, if anyone is grieved, he is not grieved by me, but from SECTION (local assembly) of everyone. Because, I will not at least be heavy/severe upon you.

6 that punishment/worthless-estimation to such a one, under the competent ones is much.

7 therefore, on the contrary, you, should rather grant more forgiveness by favor, and encourage, on how such a one will not be swallowed up in excessive grief.

8 through this, I exhort that, you should validate your selfless-love unto him.

9 for, I write this unto a test/proof, at least to absolutely know, if you are listening attentively unto everything.

10 howbeit, if you are to forgive anyone by favor, whom I have forgiven by favour because of you and on account of whom, even I, will forgive anything by favour in the presence of Christ;

11 at least, not to be taken advantage of/outwitted under satan; for we are not ignorant of its meaning/perception to it.

We always Triumph every where we go in Christ

12 Moreover, a door has opened unto me in the Lord, to go unto Troas (in Asia) for the gospel of Christ,

13 I have no rest in my spirit, not finding Titus my brother; but I had to take leave of him, and proceeded to Macedonia.

14 however, by the Grace of God, we always make victorious procession, in Christ, and the fragrance of His knowledge, is made manifest through us in all places.

15 for the sweet-scent/fragrance to God, is in those perishing who are being saved in Christ.

16 - Those (saved) who are from death unto zoe-Life are fragrance; those (martyrs) who are from Zoe-life unto death are also of fragrance; however, who are the competent ones towards this?

17 because, we are not, like many,  peddling/retailing the words of God, but like those ones by sincerity, but like those ones from God, preaching Christ in the presence of God.

2COR Chapter 3

2 Cor 3

Our letters are to write Christ in your heart.

1 Should we start again to commend/introducce ourselves? Or like some, do we need, an introductory/commendatory letter towards you, or from you? No.

2 Our Letters to you are to be written/inscribed in your hearts, and to be read and absolutely known under us by all men.

3 for the letter are to make Christ, ministered under us openly manifested; written, not in ink, not even in tablet of stone but by the SPIRIT of the Living God, but on the tablet of fleshy (Human) hearts

The new age covenant is of the Spirit and not of the write-up

4 Moreover, such a one will have reliance/confidence through Christ towards God.

5 not that we are competent out from ourselves, to reckon anything as out of ourselves, but our sufficiency/competency is from God,

6 Who has made us competent Minister of New Age) Covenant; not one of writing, but of the SPIRIT; for the one of writing killed but the one of the SPIRIT revitalizes/gives life.

The glory of the New-age covenant

7 Moreover, if the ministration of the one of death, by a writing engraved on stone, happened to be glorious, in so much that children of Israel were not able to intently looked unto the face of Moses, because of the glory of his face, which will even be abolished;

8 how much rather, shall the ministration of the SPIRIT, not indeed be glorious?

9 because, if the ministration of condemnation is of glory, much more shall the ministration of justification superabound/excel in glory.

10 for, even, those who were not magnified have been magnified in this division/section by reason of the record breaking/surpassing glory.

11 for, if it is abolished by reason of glory, it is for the one much more in glory to stay/remain.

12 therefore, those who have such type of hope, will afford to use so-much plain-frankness.

Spirit of God and our Liberty

13 And, it is not exactly as the one of Moses (which is) to be abolished; who put veil over his face, unto whom the children of Israel should not intently look at, toward the end;

14 but, they were hardened in their perceptions/meaning of the day (of judgment). Because until this day, the veil remains, because upon the act of reading of the old covenant, what has been abolished/render useless in Christ has not been fully unveiled/taken away to them.

15 but, when things of Moses is possibly being read, up till this day, the veil is laid outstretched upon their heart.

16 however, in case he turned again to the Supreme-Lord, was when the veil would be removed all round. (the "Liberty" )

Jehovah God is equal to the Holy SPIRIT

17 but, the Supreme-Lord is the SPIRIT; so where the SPIRIT of the Supreme-Lord-God is, there is Liberty

18 Also we all, by unveiled/opened face, reflecting (mirror) the glory of the Lord, having metamorphosed from Image of lesser glory (doxes) unto His bigger Glory (doxan), exactly as from the SPIRIT of the Supreme-God.

2COR Chapter 4

2Cor 4

Gospel is the expression of Christ, as the Light/manifester

1 By this reason, just as we obtain mercy, we have this ministry and we will never be weak.

2 But, we renounce dishonesty/shameful things by neither walking in craftiness nor cheating/deceiving by the word of God; but by expression of the Truth of God, toward all hidden things, we introduce our own co-perception before men.

3 But, if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden among those who will perish;

4 among the unbelievers of this age, who, the radiancy/illumination of the glory of God, never shine/beam-forth on their values-in-life/perceptions (noemata) and are blinded to the gospel of Christ, which is unto being the icon/resemblance of God.

5 for, we do not proclaim ourselves, but the Lord Jesus Christ, and ourselves are servants of Jesus, for your sake.

6 Because, as God spoke and LIGHT shine out of darkness, the knowledge of Jesus Christ is shining in our face, and the radiancy of which thing is in (our) heart towards the glory of God.

Our resilience is of the SPIRIT and not of us

7 Moreover, we have this record breaking/surpassing treasure in clayey/ceramic equipments, at least the power shall be of God, and not from us;

8 pressed hard among crowd, but not crushed/suppressed; have no way out/perplexed, but not utterly at loss;

9 being pursued/persecuted but not deserted (left alone); being cast/thrown down, but not fully destroyed:

10 we always carry/transport Jesus around in (our) dying body/deadness of body, at least, for the Zoe-Life of Jesus to manifest forth in the body (Jh 10:10).

11 because, as our mortal-flesh will be surrendered unto death on account of Jesus, we will forever live, and the Zoe-Life of Jesus, at least will manifest forth in us.

12 therefore, for zoe-Life to be energetic in you, death also would have been in us.

13 Moreover, they have Faith, and wrote according to the SPIRIT: I believe, therefore I preach (Ps 116:10); even we have Faith, therefore, we also preach,

14 knowing that, having raised up the Lord Jesus, even we shall be raised up together with you, and be standing by, together with Jesus.

A big picture is to see and relate with the invisible

15 for, all things are for your sake, at least, the Grace to do more, for the sake of more people will increase thanksgiving unto the glory of God.

16 therefore, we are not weak; but even if the outside of man is to utterly-decay, on the contrary, we are also being renewed/renovated (as of new-age), inside, day by day.

17 for, the afflictions (which is) far above measure against us at the moment is weightless/light, and will fully-work-out a load/weight of record-breaking/surpassing glory for us unto ages.

18 for, we do not aim at things that are seen, but things that are not seen; for things that are seen, are temporary, but things that are not seen, are for ages.

2COR Chapter 5

2 Cor 5

Assurance of the resurrection

1 For, we are aware that in case our earthly house is demolished, we have a tabernacle from heaven, a building-structure in God, eternal house not made by hands.

2 because, even in this one, we are lamenting/in a strait, longing to be clothed for our habitation, from heaven.

3 for, if indeed, we are clothed, we will not be found naked.

4 for, it is not a tabernacle, in which we will be lamenting/in a strait and be weighed-down, upon which, you want to be stripped off, but to be clothed up, at least to swallow up mortality under Zoe-Life.

5 Moreover, God has fully worked out this thing for us, and has given unto us a down-payment (deposit) of HIS SPIRIT.

6 therefore, having known that, as the Lord is absent away from (us), we are always courageous as we are at home in the body --

7 for, we walk through Faith, (and) not through appearance (view).

8 Moreover, we shall be well-pleased and be more courageous, to be absent from the body, and be at home towards the Lord.

9 and because of this, we are ambitious/eager to be acceptable to Him, whether at home (on earth) or being away (emigrated).

The judgment seat of Christ

10 No doubt, everybody must manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ, at least, we will carry away/obtain things (kolumbao), for what each person had practised, through his body, whether towards good or foul (flawy) things.

11 therefore, being aware of the fear of men; you are persuaded of God to manifest forth the things of the Lord, which are also expected to manifest forth in your co-perceptions.

New-age is here now by Faith in Christ

12 Again, this is not to commend/introduce ourselves to you, but an occasion to give you a boasting over us, at least, to boast towards things you have in the heart and not on the face.

13 because, whether we are amazing (put out of wit), it is for God; or being moderate, it is for you.

14 for, the selfless-Love of Christ compel us, to judge/decide on these things, that, ONE died for the sake of everybody. Ara (heartfelt inference lifted to heaven), everybody would have died.

15 And having died for all, at least those living, should no longer live for themselves, but for Him Who died, and has been raised again.

16 In so much that from now, we should know nothing according to the flesh. Even if we were no longer aware of Christ according to the flesh; on the contrary,  now, we have absolutely known things.

17 thus, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new-age original-creature. Things of old time have passed away; behold, New-age has come into being.

Be reconciled and reconcile others to God

18 So, all things are from God, WHO reconciled us to HIMSELF, through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation/exchange.

19 In that, as (it were), God reconciled the world to Himself in Christ, not reckoning (counting) their trespasses to them, and put in us, the words of reconciliation,

20 Therefore, for Christ sake, we are Advocates/representatives, who beseech/beg to be reconciled to God. As (it were), God is exhorting through us, for Christ sake;

21 Who never commit sin; we should know, at least for the sake of our sin, that, the justification of God has come into being in Him.

2COR Chapter 6

2 Cor 6

Uniqueness of Paul's ministry, with emphasy on Justification as our offensive weapon (vs 7)

1 Moreover, we exhort you to be a fellow-worker; who has not accepted the grace of God in vain.

2 No doubt, it was said, at acceptable time, I will listen to you, and in the day of salvation, I will help you. (Is 49:8). Behold now is the acceptable time; behold now is the day of salvation.

3 Nothing in no-one should give occasion for stumbling, at least not to discredit the office/ministry.

4 But in all things, we introduce ourselves as servants of God, in cheerful endurance to many, in afflictions, in necessity, in distress,

5 in stripes, in imprisonment, in riots, in toiling, in sleeplessness, in fasting;

6 in purity, in genuine/sincere knowledge, in long forbearance, in kindness, in selfless-Love, in the Holy SPIRIT;

7 in words of Truth, in mighty-deeds of God; through the instrument/armour of Justification on right hand and left hand;

8 through glory and disgrace, through defamation and good repute; as though an impostors, but true;

9 as ignorant but recognized; as dying but behold, we live; as chastised one but not killed;

10 as though grieved but forever rejoicing; as beggars but making many rich; like having nothing but possessing all things.

Show unrestrained affection

11 the Corinthians, we have open up ouy mouth (to you); open wide your heart towards us;

12 you could be restrained/restricted (morally) by us, but not to be restrained in your inward yearning/affection (of bowel);

13 however, and I say, you should be opened wide even like children, for its reward/pay-back.

Be set apart

14 Never, become strangely yoked/crossbreed (heterozygounte) to unbelievers/infidel; for what is the participation of Justification and violation of law? Or what is the fellowship of light towards darkness?

15 Moreover, what is the concord of Christ towards belial (worthlessness)? Or what is the portion of believers amid unbelievers?

16 also what is the agreement of temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the Living God, as it is said, God will perambulates and dwell among them, and I will be God to them and they will be MY people (Lev 26:12, Jer 32:38).

17 by this reason, get out from their midst, and be separated, says the Supreme God, and touch nothing unclean, and I will accept you; (Is 52:11)

18 and I will be A FATHER unto you, and you will be sons and daughters unto ME, says the Supreme God, the All-Mighty/omnipotent. (2Sam7:14)

2COR Chapter 7

2 Cor 7

Live right for the sake of the awaiting promises

1 Therefore, for having those promises, Beloved; cleanse yourselves from all filthiness of the flesh in reverence to God and the SPIRIT shall completely fulfill the holiness qualities (hagio synen) (for you

2 having given us space (admitted us); we did no-one wrong, we have corrupted no one, we have defrauded no one.

3 I am not speaking towards condemnation; for I have said it before, that you are in our hearts, even unto dying together and living together.

4 so much is my boldness towards you, my boasting for your sake is much; my comfort is fulfilled, and my joy exceedingly increased upon all the afflictions.

5 for, having come to Macedonia, not even one person of us had rest; but we are troubled in all (sides), battle outside/externally, fear within our flesh.

6 But God WHO comforts the depressed, encouraged us, by the coming of Titus,

7 Also, not only by his coming, but even in the comfort which we are comforted upon you; as he declare to us, your longings, your Lamentation (for sin), your zeal for my sake; in so much that I rather rejoice more.

Feeling sorry for sin is a sign of repentance and irrevocable salvation

8 For, even if I had grieved you in the letter, there is nothing to regret because even if for an hour, you are made to feel sorry. And if I look at that same letter, I had also regretted.

9 Now I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because you were grieved unto repentance; no doubt, you were made sorry with respect to God, at least, in nothing were you hurt/experience loss from us.

10 for, a grief with respect to God unto repentance work irrevocable salvation; but the grief of the world, fully-work-out death.

11 for you, to have been grieved by these same thing with respect to God, behold, how much of diligence/eagerness, it has accomplished for you? But, what an alarm (being put in fear), but, what an indignation, but what a self-defence (apology), but, what a vindication/getting justice, but what a longing, but, what a zeal! In all these things, you have introduced/exhibited yourselves to be innocent/clean in the matter (pragmati)

12 but, I have written to you, even if it was neither because of (a person) who have done wrong, nor because of you, being wronged/hurt, but, Ara (a heartfelt decision lifted to heaven) because of us, manifesting diligence/eagerness towards you, for your sake, before God.

Paul rejoices for his confidence in the Corinthian's church

13 on account of this, we are encouraged upon the encouragement from you, (and) we rejoice exceedingly more upon the joy of Titus, because he refreshes the spirit of everybody.

14 For, if we had boasted over you on anything to Titus, we are not put to shame; but as we have preached all things to you in Truth, even, our boasting likewise happened to be upon the Truth to him.

15 And his inward affection/bowel is more abundantly unto you, as he remembered all your obedience, having accepted him as though with fear and trembling

16 I rejoice that in all things, I am confident in you.

2COR Chapter 8

2Cor 8

Even act of giving by selfless-Love is a miracle (vs3)

1 Moreover, we make known to you, Brethren, the Grace of God, among Macedonia church to give.

2 for, in much tribulations is the test/proof of the superfluity of joy, and they have increased unto wealth, proportional to the depth of their poverty, by their selflessness (generosity).

3 for, alongside mighty-miracles (dunamis), I also testify according to a self-chosen/voluntary mighty-deeds (dunamis).

4 amid much imploration, we beseech/pray for the grace of partnership for relief services unto the holy saints.

5 And not just as we expect, but, they first gave themselves to the Lord, and to us, even through the will/desire of God,

6 Titus will likewise exhort you unto this thing, at least, just as we have started, there will be grace, unto fulfilling it further.

7 But just as you have increased in all things of Faith and even words of knowledge from us; by all diligence/earnestness, at least, even in this Grace, your selfless-Love will increase.

New Opinion of Paul on the best practice of giving in the church  (cf: the dogmatic approach in Act 4:34-35)

8 I do not speak by command, but because of the eagerness of some others, and to prove the genuineness of your selfless-love.

9 No doubt, to absolutely know the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, because, to be wealthy, He was made poor for your sake, at least by that poverty, you have been made wealthy.

10 And I will give an opinion on this (issue), having started already from early period, this is profitable for some of you who will not only desire but also do.

11 however, for emphasy, those who will do it anyhow, should completely fulfill even exactly as the predisposition/alacrity of their desire, and likewise completely fulfill it, from the things they possess.

12 No doubt, if the readiness is present, it will be acceptable, for, it is proportional to things you possess, and will not (be acceptable), in case, it is not proportional to things you possess.

13 because the ease of another, at least, should not be from your affliction; but it should be for equality/equity.

14 In the present time, your surplus is unto the deficit of those ones, and the surplus of those ones will at least generate deficit unto you, and anyhow, it will generate equality/equity.

15 As, it is written, those with much things, do not make much and those with little thing, lack nothing. (Ex 16:18)

Paul was not a lone ranger in the administrative works of the church.

16 Moreover, the Grace of God has given the same eagerness in the heart of Titus, for you.

17 For he, indeed accepted the appeal, being more prompt/diligent and was willful/voluntary as subordinate workers to proceed towards you.

18 so, we despatched with him, brethren, whose commendation in the gospel, through the churches is by everybody.

19 however, not only me, but, the fellow-travellers are chosen even by the church together with me, to serve under this grace, for their alacrity/disposition toward the glory of our Lord;

20 this is to send/prepare those who serve/minister under us. Never should anyone discredit us, for boldness/roughness/coarseness in this.

21 for, we look out for virtuous ones in advance, not only before the Lord, but even before men.

22 we also send with them, our brothers who have been proved by many (people), many times, to be energetic, also for emphasy, those who are more diligent/prompt for many things and of much confidence unto you.

23. Whether, Titus, a partner and my fellow-worker unto you, or our brethren, they are Apostles to the church, for the sake of the glory of Christ.

24 therefore, the proof of our boasting over you, will be shown by your selfless-Love, unto them, in the face of the Churches.

2COR Chapter 9

2Cor 9

Gathering of relief-materials in advance, for the saints in Judea

1 Moreover, concerning the relief-service unto the holy saints, I should indeed be writing superabundantly to you.

2 for, I am aware of your readiness, over which I boast of you to Macedonians, because, Achaia region (Greece) has prepared from the early period/last year and your zeal will stimulate more in number.

3 Moreover, I will send the brethren, at least our boasting over you will not be made empty in this SECTION (local assembly), and just as I have said, at least, you are to get ready.

4 in case, the Macedonians who are coming together with me, find you unprepared; how would I not be put to shame, at least, I would not have spoken of your support in this.

5 Therefore, it is necessary to lead/command, by inviting the brethren, at least to go beforehand to you, even for the blessing/largess, you promised before, to be prepared in advance. And this should likewise be ready, as a blessing and not as extortion-practices.

Be a cheerful/hilarious giver

6 Moreover on this, those who sow stingily, will also reap sparingly and those who sow upon the blessings/good speech, will reap upon the largess also.

7 Each person, just as he prefers in his heart, not out of grief, or out of necessity; for God selflessly-love a cheerful/hilarious giver.

8 God is mighty, to increase Grace unto you all, at least, to always have self-satisfaction/sufficiency in all things, and to increase in all good deeds unto all.

9 As it is written, he scatters abroad (liberal), he gives to the poor, his righteousness abide unto ages. (Ps 112:9)

10 Moreover, those who supply seed to the sower, who grow up the seed, have also additionally supplied bread unto eating and multiply your seed for sowing. You are the product/offsprings born of Justification.

11 make everybody wealthy, by generosity (selflessness) in all things, which will fully work out, unto thanksgiving to God, through us,

12 For the public function (liturgy) of this relief-service is not only to fully fill-up the deficit of the holy-saints, but even to highly increase gratitude to God, through many people.

13 your generosity (selflessness) unto them and partnership through this relief-service, is a test/proof of subjection unto all things of Christ, and upon their profession/acknowledgment of the gospel, they will glorify God;

14 and they will earnestly crave after you, by their supplication for you, on account of the surpassing/record-breaking Grace of God upon you.

15 What an indescribable gift (dorea) upon them by the Grace of God!

2COR Chapter 10

2 Cor 10

Warfare against all opposing thoughts is by the spirit and not by flesh

1 Moreover, I will exhort you, through the meekness and leniency of CHRIST, with respect to Paul's face, who is lowly among you, however, being absent, he is courageous/daring unto you.

2 however, I beg certain persons who reckoned, I am not confident, upon being present, and who reckoned my confidence to be daring, as though I walk according to the flesh.

3 for, I could be walking according to the flesh, (but) I do not wage war in the flesh.

4 for the (offensive) weapon of our warfare are not of the flesh, but of mighty God, toward demolition of fortified strongholds -

5 - to demolish/pull down thoughts (logics and reasonings) and all elevated things, exalting themselves against the knowledge of God, and all perceptions/meanings to things (noema) which make (them) captive, unto obedience to Christ;

6 - Who is ready to vindicate/punish everyone in disobedience, whenever you, who hold on to obedience are fulfilled.

Word of Paul is the same l both in his letter and in person, the difference is the purpose.

7 with respect to faces, look, if anyone is persuaded on his own to be of Christ, reckon this again upon yourself, that as you are of Christ, likewise me also.

8 for, I'm not ashamed, in case someone even boast exceedingly about our authority, which the Lord gives, unto your edification (full structure), and NOT unto demolition;

9 at least, never should you possibly think, (you are) being terrified, through the letters/written messages.

10 For the epistles/letters indeed are to make known one's weighty and strong thoughts. However, while being around/present, the body could be weak and the speech could be despised/least-esteemed.

11 this is what such should have reckoned, that, being away/absent, we are of a kind by SPEECH through epistles and being present, we are of a kind by Works /DEEDS.

We are unique

12 No doubt, we dare not classify or compare ourselves with certain persons who introduce/commend themselves by measuring themselves with their own selves. But even the same people who compare themselves with themselves, don't understand.

13 however, we are not boasting without measure/immoderately unto you, but according to the measure of a standard rule (canon) of God, which we are to apportioned/distribute, even until you reach the measure.

14 because, it was like, we will never reach unto you. Because, we did not arrive unto you by the instrumentality of the gospel of Christ, until we over-stretched ourselves,

15 not to boast immoderately unto  another's labour; but for you to have faith, grow up by pleasurable hope, and make greatness in you unto surplus/superfluity, according to our standard rule (canon),

16 and even to preach the good news unto those still farther beyond you, not in the standard of another, who will boast unto ready-made things.

17 However, those who will boast, should boast in the Supreme God. (Jer 9:24)

18 because, it is not of those who constitute/commend themselves, to be acceptable, but of whom the Lord constituted/introduced.

2COR Chapter 11

2 Cor 11

Paul, beg to briefly brag foolishly (your biography can not exactly be  the same as your Autobiography

1 I wish someone would bear with my senselessness, but even you will put up with me a little.

2 for, I am zealous for you with the zeal of God: because, as a virgin is being espoused to One husband, I have presented you pure to Christ.

3 but, I am frightened; not as how serpent, in its trickery, wholly-seduced AVA (first woman/Chavva), that your perception (values for life) has not been corrupted away from selflessness/generosity and purity unto Christ.

4 for, if another person came to proclaim things of Jesus, which we did not proclaim, or a different kind of gospel, which we did not accept, or taking of a different kind of spirit which we did not receive;it would be well indeed to bear (with me).

5 because, for the Apostles' sake, I will reckon no-man to be inferior.

6 but, even if I am ignoramus/unlearned among all, however, not in words of knowledge; on the contrary, I have manifested forth in all things unto you.

7 Or did I commit sin, to abase myself, even to have FREELY preached the gospel to you? At least, because by the gospel, God has lifted you up:

8 by despoiling other churches by receiving wages/support also for the ministry/service towards you.

9 And, being present with you, I am not inferior, and was not even one time exhausted/sluggish, for, brethren who came from Macedonia (in Greece) completely supply my deficits/needs; I have kept and will keep myself unburdensome to you in everything.

10 my boasting is unto this: that, there is the Truth of Christ in me, which for me will not be blocked up within the region of Greece (Achaia).

11 because of what? Is it because God selflessly-love you? Who is not aware of that!

12 Moreover, what should be done, has even been done, at least, those who desire opportunity found the opportunity, just like me also. And at least, I am boasting on those who "they" have cut out.

13 for, such ones are false-Apostles, deceitful workers, who disguise/masquerade unto apostles of christ,

14 And no wonder, for satan itself, could disguise unto angel of light.

15 therefore, it is not a big deal, even if its servants disguise like servants of righteousness, whose end result will be according to their doings.

16 Again I say, never should anyone think of me to be unthoughtful; but, even if otherwise, accept me even as an unthoughtful person, at least, I also, could boast a little.

17 what I will be saying, (now) is not being said with respect to the Lord, but as though, in senselessness, (for) in this thing is the support/underlying reality (essence) of the boasting.

18 since many have boasted in the flesh, even I, will boast.

19 for you could gladly bear with the unthoughtful one, what will be, for the thoughtful one!

20 if anyone will enslave you, if anyone would devour you, if anyone would get hold of you, if anyone would exalt self, if anyone would smite you unto your face, no doubt, you would bear it (with him).

Paul's predicament for the sake of the Gospel are the underlying facts for his boasting.

21 (now) I will speak as though in foolishness, because with respect to reproach, what a feeble/weak person I am! But, in whatever anyone will possibly dare to speak, even I, will dare speak.

22 Are they Hebrew (Jews)? Even I. Are they Israelites? Even I. Are they Abraham offsprings? Even I.

23 Are they servants of Christ? I am beside myself/insane for the sake of preaching; in toiling, more abundantly, in imprisonment, more abundantly, in flogging, excessively, in death, many times;

24 I received forty (lashes) besides one (39 lashes), five times under the Jews,

25 beaten with stick, three times, stoned once, shipwrecked three times; sailing day and night in the deep-sea;

26 travelling many times, in danger of overflowing freshet, danger in the sea; danger of robbers, dangers from own country-men, danger from heathen-race, danger of false-brethren, danger in cities, danger in the desert,

27 in sleeplessness (with) weariness and toiling, many times: in hunger and thirst, in fasting/abstinence from food, many times, in cold and and lack of wears.

28 apart from the uprising/pressure of those who are close-outside, on me is the care for all the churches every day.

29 who is feeble? So, I am not feeble. who were those kindling things? So, it is those offended/entrapped in apostasy and not me.

30 If I must boast, I will boast of things of my weakness/feebleness.

31 The Adorable God unto ages, and the FATHER of the Lord Jesus is aware that I am not lying:

32 in Damascus (of Syria), the Governor (leader of a race) under Arabians (Areta) king, mount guard on the city of Damascenes (inhabitants of Damascus) to arrest me.

33 And through a window, I was let down in a basket and escaped his hand, through the wall. (Act 9:19-25)

2COR Chapter 12

2Cor 12

Paul supported his mission unto Gentiles by the trance of Peter (Act 10:13, Gal 2:1)

1 It is indeed not profitable to boast. However, I must come unto Visions and Revelations of the Lord.

2 Before (my) fourteen years in Christ, I was aware of a man (Apostle Peter), such a person was caught up (harpazo) to the sky/heaven, who was not aware, whether in the body or aside the body, until the third time, God knows what I don't know. (Act 10:16).

3 such a person, should know whether it was within body or separately apart from the body, but God knows what men don't know.

4 For, he was caught up unto paradise, and heard non-explicit/non-expressible utterances, which is not lawfully-right for a man to preach (in public). (Peter's trance Act 10:11-16)

5 I will boast over such a thing, however, I will not boast over my own, except in my weakness/feebleness.

Boasting or no boasting: It is good to hear from the horse's mouth (biography can never be the same as your autobiography

6 In case, I spare boasting, because, I don't want to be foolish; however, the truth will be said; because, someone will reckon unto me, what he take heed in me or for my sake, because he never heard something from me.

The thorns in the flesh of Paul and how the Lord Jesus himself exhorted Paul three times (the fourth time is for exit to Rome - Act 23:11)

7 And I will not arrogate self importance through the record breaking revelation, at least, not to exalt myself, the messengers of satan give thorns, to my flesh (his own Jewish race), at least, they slapped/buffeted me, -

8 - the Lord exhorted me three times, for the sake of stepping aside/departing at least, away from these ones. [(Act 9:4-6, Act 22:18 & 21, Act 18:9-10) (and lastly on the escapade Act 23:11)]

9 and I speak to you, the Grace is sufficient, and because, my feebleness (weakness) ended up in miraculous deeds. Therefore, I will most gladly, boast more in my feebleness, at least for the power of Christ to tent/rest upon me.

10 by this reason, I am well pleased in feebleness, in reproach, in constraint/necessity, in persecution, and distress for Christ sake; for, whenever, I am feeble, then, I am a powerful one.

Paul reluctantly continues his boasting....

11 you compel me to become foolish/unthoughtful; because, for Apostle sake, no man is even inferior, for even if I am not even one, I must be recommended under you.

12 the signs of an Apostle were indeed worked out among you in all cheerful endurance; in addition to the signs are wonders, and mighty-deeds.

13 for, what is it which make the remaining churches to be put under/overcome, if not for the same thing, that, I was not numb/lazy to you? What an injustice is this for me to be granted forgiveness by favor!

Selfless-Love of Paul for the church is non relenting

14 Behold, should I come towards you a third time, because children ought not to treasure up for the parents, but the parents for the children, I will not seek your things and will not be numb/sluggish but, will hold on to those things in readiness for you.

15 but, most gladly, I will selflessly-Love, spend, and be exhausted for the sake of your souls. However, If you are more abundantly loved, why would you be on the worse?

16 moreover, I should have burdened you; but you will not take the trick/deceit of a cunning/crafty upcoming-workers.

17 have I ever sent anyone towards you, through whom you are exploited? They will never.

18 Are the whether at all the Brethren sent together with Titus exploit you? did Titus not walk in the same SPIRIT? Did he not exhort in the same step/track?

19 but, do you think, we have been preaching to you, in the past, to make a defense/plea before God? Beloved, all things are for the sake of your edification in Christ.

20 for, how will I not be frightened, to come and find you to be of such kind, I don't want, and how will you find even me, to be of the kind you don't want; we are never of quarrel, of jealousy, fierceness, and never of contention, defamation, secret detraction, puffing up/pompous and of commotion/disorder.

21 Never again, should I come, and be depressed towards my God for you, even to grieve for many who have sinned already, and did not repent over the uncleanness, even harlotry, and lasciviousness/incontinence, which they had practiced.

2COR Chapter 13

2Cor 13

Examine yourselves in Faith

1 This utterance is coming toward you the third time and upon the mouth of two or three witnesses, shall all things stand/be established.

2 having said before, while being present (with you) the second time, and now, while being absent, as I have said before to those who have previously sinned, because, in case I have to come unto everything again, I will not spare the remaining ones.

3 since, I seek after a test/proof of things preached in Christ, unto which you are not to be feeble but you should be efficient/mighty in them.

4 for, He was crucified even (as) out of weakness, but lives-on, out of the power of God; because, we also, could have been weak unto you but we live on together with Him by the power from God in Him,

5 test/scrutinize yourselves if you are in the things of Faith. Try/prove yourselves, If, whether at all, you are unapproved/a cast-away. Or haven't you fully recognized yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?

6 however, I expect, that you absolutely know that we should not be unapproved (a castaway).

Anything of the truth will always stand out

7 Moreover, I wish (to God), you will not do anything bad to at least show/appear as though approved towards us; but to us, you will never at least do virtuous thing, to be unapproved to God.

8 however, it cannot be anything against the Truth but for the sake of the Truth.

9 for, you should rejoice whenever you are feeble, however by thorough equipping/training by us, you shall be powerful/strong. And this we wish you also.

10 By this reason, I write these things to you, while being absent, at least, not to employ severity while present (with you), because, according to the authority, the Lord has given me, is unto edification, and not unto demolition.

Greetings and benediction

11 the remaining thing, cheer up, be exhorted/encouraged, be fully trained (fixed, repaired, mended, prepared); exercise mind on selfless-Love, and pacify/make peace amid brethren, even as the Peace with God is with you.

12 greet/embrace one another (as) in a kiss of holy-things (like torah, mezuzah).

13 All the holy-saints greet you.

14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the agape-Love of God, and the fellowship/partnership of the HOLY SPIRIT be with you all. +Amen+
