Introduction 

John the beloved, is the writer of these letters. Tradition holds that he lived to about hundred years old. The letter can be dated to A.D 85-90. And he addresses issues of Christ 100% human being (1John 5:6), the one and only injunction of Christ - "Agape-Love", without which all your labour in words and tongue may be lost (1John 3:18, 2John1:8). John expresses his joy to see his children in faith walking in sound and accurate teaching of Christ (3John 1:2). However, he strongly warns against associating with those that refuse to profess that Christ/Messiah has come in flesh (2John vs 9).

The Word give zoe-Life

1 Concerning what has been from the ancient time, what we have heard; what our eyes have seen, what we have closely look at, and our hands have handled/verified by touching, even the WORDS of zoe-LIFE. 

2. And the zoe-Life has manifested, and clearly discerned, and testified of, and announced (rehearsed) to you. The Eternal Life (of Ages), which has been of the FATHER, and has manifested forth towards us;

3. What we have heard and clearly discerned and announced to you, at least, for you to have fellowship with us, and our communion however is with the FATHER and with His SON, Jesus Christ.

4. So, I am writing these things, at least for our joy to be made full.

Light is of God

5. And this message which we have heard from HIM, and declared to you, is that Light is of God, and nothing of darkness is in HIM 

Sin is of darkness and not of the Light

6. In case, you say that, you have partnership with HIM, and you walk around in darkness, you are lying, and you do not practice the Truth.

7. However, in case, the blood of Jesus HIS Son, has cleansed us away from all sins, and we have partnership with one another, we will be walking in the Light, as HE (God) is in the Light.

8. In case, we say that, we do not have sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the Truth is not in us .

9. In case, we acknowledge our sins, HE IS faithful (loyal) and righteous, at least to forgive our sins, and cleanse us away from all wrongs (injustice).

10. In case, you say that, you have not sinned, it makes you a liar, and HIS (God) Word is not in you.

Solution to habitual sins

1. My Little children (fresh Christians), I write these things to you, at least, not to trespass; and in case, any person trespasses, we have the SUMMONED One (parakletos) towards the FATHER, Jesus Christ the Righteous;

2. and He is the expiator/propitiation concerning our sins; however, not concerning ours alone, but even concerning the whole world.

3. And in this, we know that, if, we keep His mandate/commandment, we have absolutely known Him. 

4. By saying, that, you know Him, and you do not keep His mandate, you are a liar, and there is no truth in you;

5. Those who truly keep His words, the selfless-Love (agape) of God is consummated in them. And in this, we know that we are in Him (Christ):

6. Those who say, they abide in Him, MUST walk, just as He has likewise walked. 

The new-age commandment of Christ is selfless Love

7. Beloved Brethren, I am not writing the old commandments to you, even the old (not recent) commandments, which you held on to, from the ancient time (in Judaism). But, the New-age commandment is the word which you have heard.

8. I am writing a new-age commandment to you again, which is the Truth in Him (Christ) and in you: because we have gone past darkness, and the true Light is shining already.

9. Anyone who says, he is in the light, and hate his brother, is in darkness until now.

10. Anyone who selflessly-Loves his brother, is abiding in the light, and there is no scandal (of apostasy) in him.

11. However, anyone who hates his brother, is in darkness and is walking in darkness; and does not know where he is going to, because darkness has made his eyes blind.

The present day reality of a true Christian of different age-groups

12. I am writing to you, children (little Christians), because you have been forgiven/let go of sin (have freedom from sin), through HIS Name.

13. I am writing to you, fathers (parents), because, you could know the things from the early-stage. I am writing to you, the youths (under 40), because you could subdue/conquer evil things. I am writing to you, half grown boys and girls, because, you could know the FATHER (God).

14. I am writing to you, fathers, who have known the things from the early stage BECAUSE the words of God could abide in you. I am writing to you, the youths who could subdue/overcome the evil ones, BECAUSE, you are strong/valiant.

You truly Love the FATHER, the moment you hate these 3 doors into sin;

15. Do not love the world, nor things in the world, in case, any one loves the world, the love of the FATHER is not in him;

16. Because, all things in the world; the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride/braggadocio of living standard; are not from the FATHER, but are of the world.

17. And the world and its lusts will pass away. But those who do the desire of God, will abide unto ages/centuries.

For the teenagers: Identify the truth in contrast to the lies of anti-messiah and the liars 

18. To the Half grown boys and damsels, just as you have heard, that antichrist is coming and it shall be in the latter hours, but many people have become anti-christ even now, whereby we know that they might be of the latter hours.

19. They proceed out from us but they were not of us; because if they had been of us, they would have possibly remained with us, but at least, it is obvious/made apparent to all that they were not of us.

20. And to you, who have the Unction/anointing (spiritual endowment) from the Holy ONE, you will know all things.

21. I am not writing to you because you have not known the Truth, but because you are aware of all things and because their lies are not from the Truth.

22 who is a liar? if not a person who deny Jesus, that, He is not Christ. That person is an antichrist, who have rejected the FATHER and the SON.

23. Everyone who rejects the Son, does not even have the FATHER. But, those who profess the Son, have the FATHER.

Stay in the Truth of Christ salvation 

24. Abide in what you have heard from the early stage. For, in case you abide in what you have heard from the early stage, you will abide in the Son and in the FATHER.

25. And this is the promise which HE announced upon us: the Eternal Life (of ages)

26. I am writing this to you, concerning those who will deceive you/lead you astray.

27. Even the Unction (divine endowment) which you have received from Him (Christ) will stay in you, and you will have no need of any person to at least, teach you; but, as you have been taught concerning all things that are true and are not lies, by the same Unction (chrisma), even just as you are taught, abide in Him.

28. And now children (little believers), abide in Him, at least, you will have boldness from Him and in case He appears, you will never be wearied/feel ashamed in His return/presence.

You are righteous by Justification 

29. In case you are aware that you are righteous, you should have also known that everyone that is born from Him are made by Justification.

1John 3

What a selfless Love! 

1. Behold, of what kind of selfless-Love, the FATHER has given to us, at least, to be called the Children (tecknon) of God. By this reason, the world does not absolutely know us, because they do not absolutely know HIM.

What a hope! 

2. Beloved, we are the Children of God NOW. There is no gainsay, for it has been made manifest what we shall be, for, we are aware that in case He appears, we will be like/similar to Him, because just as we have seen Him, we shall be. 

3. And all who have this pleasurable hope upon Him (Jesus), will purify themselves, just as He is pure.

Definition of sin

4. Sin is a violation of law. And all who commit sins are doing illegality/violation of law;

5. and be aware that, the same (Jesus), who has been made manifest, at least to take away sin, there is no sin in Him.

6. All who abide in Him do not trespass (miss the mark); all who trespass have not clearly discerned Him, nor absolutely know Him.

You are righteous by Justification 

7. children (little believers), no man should deceive you; those who are made by Justification are righteous, just as the same (Jesus) is Righteous.

Sin is of the devil 

8. To be committing sin is from the devil, because devil has been sinning from the ancient time. So, the Son of God was made manifest unto this purpose, at least to break down/loosen the work of the devil.

9. All who are born from God, do not commit sin, because God's offsprings will abide in HIM and CANNOT trespass because, they are born/given Life, from HIM.

You will selflessly love, if you know that you are made by Justification

10. In this, shall the Children of God and the children of devil be made manifest: everyone who is not made by Justification, is not from God; and he will never selflessly-love his brother.

11. For, this is the message which you have heard from the early stage, at least to selflessly-love one another;

12. Just as Cain who had been of the evil one, and slaughtered his brother out of no grace; and why did he butcher him (Abel)? Because, his work was evil; but his brother's (work), righteous.

13. Brethren, do not wonder, if the world hate you.

14. Be aware that we have passed on out from death unto zoe-Life, because we selflessly-Love the brethren. Those who do not love are abiding in death.

15 Everone who hate his brother is a murderer; and you are aware that all murderers, do not have Eternal Life abiding in them.

Jesus exemplify the Greatest selfless Love 

16. In this we absolutely know "selfless-Love (agape)", because this same (Jesus) has laid down His Soul for us; and we OUGHT TO lay down souls for the brethren.  

Example of the simple practicable selfless Love

17. However, whoever possibly have means of livelihood of the world, and sees his brother who have a need, and close his sympathy (splanchna) away from him, how is the Love of God abide in him?

18. Children (fresh believers), it is not of words (things said), nor of tongues (languages), but selflessly-Love by the works/actions in the Truth (of Christ Salvation).

19. In these things, we will absolutely know that we are of the Truth, and our hearts is persuaded before Him.

20. For, in case we are condemned by our hearts, greatest is our heart to God, for HE (God) knows all things.

21 Beloved, in case we are not condemned by our hearts, we will have boldness towards God.

22 And whatever in case, we ask, shall be received from HIM, because, we are keeping HIS injunction, and we do things, pleasing in HIS sight.

23 And this is HIS commandment, at least, to have Faith in the Name (Position) of HIS Son, Jesus Christ, and to selflessly-Love one another, just as the injunction given to us.

24. And those who hold fast to HIS injunction, abide in HIM and HE in them. And in this, we know, Who abide in us, because out of HIS SPIRIT, HE has given to us.

Differentiate the SPIRIT of God from the spirit of error 

1.Beloved, do not believe all the spirits. But test the spirits, if they are from God, because many spurious prophets/speakers have proceeded into the world.

2. In this we will know which Spirit is of God. All the spirits which acknowledge/profess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, are from God;

3. And all the spirits which do not profess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh are not of God. And Now, these (spirits) are the antiChrist/Christ-opponents, which you have heard that, it will come, are in the world already.

4. You are of God, children (fresh believers), and you will subdue them, because, in you could be the One out of the Greatest or the one in the world. (2King 6:16)

{Quote: In me; is the best ground of His habitation where He will work wonders and operate at optimal level, dislodge demons of blindness, death, epilepsy, dumbness, sicknesses, cough, goitre, lumps, express agape love full fledged and expand the kingdom of Jesus on earth}

5. The same (anti-christ) is of the world; and by this reason, it will preach things of the world, and the world will listen to it.

6. We are of God. Those who know God listen to us. Whoever is not from God, will not listen to us. From that, we know the SPIRIT of Truth and the spirit of deceit/error.

Selfless-Love (agape) is of God (4:7 and 4:8 and 4:16)

7. Beloved, selflessly-Love one another; because selfless-Love (agape) is from God; and all who love, are born from God, and they absolutely know God.

8. Those who do not love, don't know God; because, selfless-Love is of God.

9. In this, the selfless-Love of God has been made manifest among us, because God has sent HIS only begotten Son into the world, at least, we will live on through Him

Why is it selfless?

10. In this is the selfless-Love of God; not because we love HIM, but because HE selflessly loves us, by sending HIS Son, as an Expiator/propitiation for our offence.

11. Beloved, if God has loved us this way, even we must selflessly-love one another.

12. No man at any time has seen God. So, in case we love one another, God abide in us, and HIS selfless-love will be consummated in us.

13 In this, we know that we abide in HIM, and HE in us, even by giving us out of HIS SPIRIT.

14. And we have looked closely and testified that, the FATHER has sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

15 whoever possibly profess/acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; God abide in the same person and himself in God.

16 We have faith and have the love of God in us. And, we know that selfless-LOVE IS of God, and those who abide in Love, abide in God and God abides in them.

Why must we love? God Loves us first

17 amidst this, should selfless-Love be consummated in us in this world, just as the same (Jesus) has been, even so shall we be, and we will at least have boldness in the day of judgment

18. There is no fear in selfless-Love. Because, by holding on to penalty/chastisement is fear, but those of full-age/maturity will throw the fear outside by selfless-Love; so, no fear for those who are consummated in selfless-Love.

19. We should selflessly-Love because HE has, first of all, selflessly-Loved us.

To Love God is to Love your neighbors 

20 and In case, anyone says that he loves God, and hates his brother; he is a liar; for the man who does not love his brother whom he can see, cannot love God WHOM he cannot see.

21 And this is the command we have from Him, at least, those who love God, should selflessly-love their brethren.

1John Chapter 5

1John 5

To be born or be given Life of God is by believing in Jesus Christ 

1. Everyone who believe that Jesus is the Christ, is born from God. And all who love the ONE (God) who beget, should also love the One (Jesus) who has been begotten from HIM.

To Love God is to Love the children of God

2 In this, we know that we love God, whenever we are doing HIS commandment by loving the children of God.

3. this selfless-Love is of God, and at least, HIS commandment should be kept, because HIS commandment is not burdensome.

Who has conquered/overcome the world? 

4. Because,everybody, who is born of God, shall subdue/overcome (nikao) the world; and the conquest/victory (nike) of subduing/overcoming this world - - is by our FAITH (unto Christ).

5 So, who is he that could subdue the world? If not the one who has FAITH, that Jesus is the Son of God.

Jesus is truly our brother and human being with blood and water

6. This same Jesus, is the Christ (Messiah), who has come through blood and water; not in blood only, but by blood and by water. Even the SPIRIT has been testifying, because the SPIRIT is of the Truth.

7. For, three things are to be testified to: [** even the Holy SPIRIT, by the Words of the FATHER in heaven; - - is ONE and This ONE is for the three **] 

8 for (His) spirit and for (His) blood and for (His) water - -  and the three are unto One (Jesus). 

9. If we could receive the testimony of man on this thing, the testimony of God is the greatest. Because, there is a testimony, that God testified concerning HIS Son.

Eternal Life for ages is by believing in the Son of God

10 Those who have faith unto the Son of God, have the testimony in them. Those who do not believe God, do it as liars, because they do not have Faith in the testimony which God testified concerning HIS Son.

11. And this testimony is that, God has given us Eternal Life and this Zoe-Life is in HIS Son.

12. Those who have the Son, have zoe-Life: those who do not have the Son, do not have the zoe-Life of God.

13. I am writing these things to you, (at least to have faith unto the Name (authority) of the Son of God, and those who have Faith unto the Name (Position) of the Son of God, to at least, be aware of having Eternal Life.

Advantage of praying in the Name of Jesus 

14 This is the frankness (all outspokenness) which we have towards HIM, for, in case we ask for something according to HIS desire, HE listens to us. (quote: HIS desire is a thing that is good in this order, God first, others, second, and lastly for you)

15. And in case, we are aware that HE listens to us, what in case we ask for, be aware that you will have the requests which you have asked from HIM. 

Sin towards death include failure to have Faith in Christ

16. In case, anyone should see his brother, sinning a sin which is not towards death, ask, and zoe-Life will be given to him, who has not trespassed towards death. There is an offense towards death; I say, do not at least request/pray concerning that sin.

17. Wrongdoings/unfairness are sins, and all sins are not towards death.

The True God and the True Christ

18. Be aware that all who are begotten from God, do not sin. On the contrary,  God preserve those begotten out from HIM, and evil ones do not touch/influence them.

19. Be aware that we are of God, and evil things are lying outstretched in the world as a whole.

20 However, be aware that the Son of God has come here and has given us a deep thought/imagination, at least to absolutely know the truthful things; and we are in the Truthful ONE, and in HIS Son, Jesus Christ, and this Eternal Life is of the true God. 

21. Children (fresh believers) keep yourselves away from idols. (Amen).
