Luke Chapter 1

Introduction

Luke or Lucas, who is also the writer of the book of Acts of the Apostles, was a physician and a beloved associate of Paul in his missionary journeys (Col 4:14). He wrote this book between A.D 58-60. Luke recorded maternal-genealogy of Jesus via the father of His mother (Heli) through Nathan to David, to Abraham and even to Adam - the first man on earth, who lost his sonship to God. The status that is now restored in Christ to everyone who has faith in Him. The genealogy is to silence the critics (1Tim1:4, Titus 1:4) who will fault all other testimonies, just because, Joseph was an "adopted" father of Jesus. Contributions of Paul in Luke account are clearly observed in his choice of words and that genealogy. At the middle of the book, Luke has already recorded the events in Bethany, when Jesus was already preparing for crucifixion. So, the record of Luke was not in chronological order of the events, therefore, reference should be made to book of Matthew for the timing, but it contains as many  events as possible, in the biography of Jesus and he elaborated more on certain aspects for better understanding to the Honorable-Governor Theophilus and every readers of the same book. 

Luke 1

Luke writes to inform Theophilus and all interested readers about Jesus, the Christ

1 For as much as many people, of course, have undertaken, to inform/set in order, the narrative concerning the pragmatic- event/matter (pragma) among us,

2 just as, it is delivered to us from early stage, by the eye-Witnesses who become even the Officers/subordinates of the words. 

3 Even I, think, having watched to closely followed everyone at the top dilligently, I thereafter write to you, the Most-Honourable Theophilus (Friend of God). 

4 At least, to recognize the certainty concerning the things-said (logos), and what we have been instructed/catechized. 

Arch-Angel Gabriel announced the birth and the name of the baptizer as John, to a Priest who knows too much.

5 It happens in the days of king Herod of Judea, that a certain Priest, out of Abijah's family on rotational daily duty, named Zachariah, and his wife who is from the daughters of Aaron, and her name is *Elizabeth. (lofty by oath). 

6 And, both are righteous in the presence of God, walking in all the commandments and righteous-deeds/regulations of the Supreme God, blamelessly.

7 And they were with no child, in as much as *Elizabeth has been barren, and both are advanced in years.

8 So, it happens, in performing his priest function, in his order/succession of daily duty before God,

9 according to the custom of priest-office, he is alloted to enter into the temple of the SUPREME God to burn incense. 

10 And all the multitude of people were making prayer outside, at the hour of burning of incense.

11 however, he saw an Angel of the SUPREME God, standing out from the right side of the altar of incense.

12 And as Zachariah discerned, he was troubled and fear fell upon him

13 Moreover, the Angel tells him, fear not, Zachariah, because your supplication has been heard, and your wife *Elizabeth, will bear a son, and you shall call his name *John.

14 And it will be of joy and gladness to you, and many will rejoice, upon his birth.

15 For, he will be great in the presence of God, and will not drink wine and strong liquor at all. And, yet, he will be filled with the Holy-Spirit out from his mother's womb,

16 And many children of Israel will return to God and HIS adonay (Lord). 

17 And he will go ahead before Him in the Spirit and the power upon *EliJah to make ready and thoroughly prepare people, for the Lord (Adonay), Who will revert the heart of un-persuadable fathers and children (Mal 4:5-6), by the instrumentality of a wise-mindset/mentality (phronesis) to be Righteous. 

18 And Zachariah speaks to the Angel, do you know what are against this thing? No doubt, I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in her days.

19 And the (arch)-Angel answered and told him, I am Gabri-El (strong and mighty person of God), the one who stand by, in the presence of God, and has been sent to preach to you, even to announce these good news (euangelize) to you.

20 behold, instead, you shall be muted, and will not be able to preach until the day that these things will happen, for you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in its proper time.

21 And people has been expecting Zachariah, and wonder at his delay in the temple.

22 But, on getting out, he can not preach to them, and they recognized that he has discerned a vision in the temple. For he has been nodding through unto them, and remained muted.

23 And, as the days of his public-service become fulfilled, he goes away unto his house.

24 So, amid these days, his wife *Elizabeth take in (conceive), and hide herself entirely for five months, saying,

25 because, God has likewise look upon me, and do that which remove days of my reproach among men.

Angel Gabriel announced the birth and the Name of Christ for the first time as Jesus 

26 Moreover, in the sixth-month, (Arch)-Angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee, which is named NAZARETH,

27 towards a virgin espoused to a man, which is named Joseph, from the house *of David; and the name of the virgin is Mariam (Moriah/female teacher). 

28. And he enters-in towards her (not in a dream), and says, cheer! You are graced/visited by special honor (charistoo); for the SUPREME God is with you. +you are blessed (spoken well of) among women+

29 so, she was agitated upon the words, and reason on what sort of salutation, should this be.

30 And the (Arch)Angel tells her, fear not, Mary; for, you have found grace (charin) from God;

31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bear a Son, and will call His Name JESUS (Jehoshua).

32 He will be Great, and be called the Son of the Highest (Most High); and God, His FATHER will give Him the throne of (*David), as the Lord (Adonay).

33 and for His kingdom upon the house of Jacob, there will be no ultimate end, and He shall reign unto ages.

34 and Mary also speaks to the Angel, since, I have not known/allowed a man, how will this thing be?

35 And the Angel answers and tells her, the Holy SPIRIT will come-upon (supervene) you, and the Power of the Most High will cast a shade upon you, and consequently, the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.

36 And behold, (* Elizabeth), your relative, even she has conceived a son in her old age, and this is her sixth-month, who was called sterile.

37 For, the utterances (rhema) from God to everyone is not powerless/without strength. 

38 So, Mary says, behold,  it shall happen to your maid-servant according to your utterances to me. And the Angel of the SUPREME LORD goes away from her.

Mary visits Elizabeth 

39 So, in that day, Mary stands up, and takes a journey with haste unto highlands, even unto a town of Judea,

40 and she enters into the house of Zachariah, and greets *Elizabeth.

41 and it happens as, she hears the greetings of Mary, the baby leaps in her womb; and the Holy Spirit fills *Elizabeth.

42 and the mega part is that, she speaks out with her voice, and says, you are blessed among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.

43 and from where is this one who come to me? At least, towards me is the mother of my Lord.

44 behold, because as the voice of your greetings is generated into my ears, the baby in my womb leap in gladness;

45 and supremely blessed are you to have believed, for there will be a fulfillment of things preached by him from the SUPREME God.

Song of Mary

46 And Mary says, my soul magnify the SUPREME Lord.

47 and I leap for joy by the SPIRIT of God upon my Saviour.

48 For considering the low estate of HIS maid-servant, behold, from now, all generation will pronounced me Supremely blessed.

49 For being powerful to do great things for me, His Name is Holy. 

50 And His tender-mercy is unto a generation, even a generation that reverence HIM. 

51 the strength in HIS Arm has made the deep-thought in the heart of the arrogant to be scattered.

52 He dethrone dynasties/powerful rulers from their throne, and exalted the lowly.

53 the hungry are satisfied with good things, and the wealthy are dismissed empty.

54 HE has helped Isreal in turn as a child, by remembering mercy,

55 just as, it was preached to Abraham, our father, and to his offsprings, unto ages. 

56 So, Mary/Moriah stays together with her like three-months and return unto her household. 

Birth of John 

57 Moreover, *Elizabeth fulfill the space of time for her to be delivered, and beget a son.

58 And the neighbors and her relatives hear, that the Supreme God has made HIS mercy great with her, and they congratulate her.

The boy was circumcised and named John. 

59 And it happens to be on the eighth day, they come to circumcise the infant, and call him Zachariah after the name of his father.

60 And his mother answered, on the contrary, and says, No indeed; he shall be called, *John.

61 And they tell her, no one who is called by this name, out of your relatives

62 But his father makes signs, of what possibly he desires to call him.

63 And he asked for tablet for writing, and says, his name is *John. And everone wonders.

64 Howbeit, besides others means, his mouth and his tongue open up, and he preaches and bless/eulogize God.

65 and all these utterances were preached throughout the whole highlands of Judea. And fear happens to be upon all the neighbors dwelling around them; 

66 And they put all things they heard, in their heart, saying, Ara (a heartfelt call to heaven), what will this child be? No doubt, the hand of the SUPREME God, has been with him.

Prophecy of Zachariah 

67 And Zachariah, his father, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesy, saying,

68 Adorable is the SUPREME Lord, God of Israel, WHO has visited and will perform the redemption of His people,

69 and has raised up, the horn of our salvation, in the house of His servant *David;

70 just as it is preached from ages through the mouth of His Holy prophets,

71 the salvation from our enemy, and from the hands of all those who hate us;

72 to make Covenant with HIS Holy-people, even by remembering HIS mercy to our fathers.

73 sworn by oath to our father, that which Abraham gave to us.

74 we shall be rescued out of the hands of enemy, we will serve and worship HIM fearlessly,

75 and in Piety and Justification in HIS presence, all our days.

76 And to the little child, you will be called the prophet of the Most-High; for you will go before the face of the (Adonay) Lord, to make ready His way;

77 to give freedom from sins to His people, by knowledge (gnosis) of His salvation.

78 through the inward affections (Splachna) and by tender mercy of our God, in which we are visited (as) Sun-rise from on High. 

79 to shine upon those in darkness, who sit down in the shadow of death, and to direct our feet, into the way of Peace.

80 Moreover, the child grows up and was strengthened by the SPIRIT; and he is in the desert until the day of his manifestation to Israel.

Luke Chapter 2

Luke 2

The Birth of Jesus Christ 

1 Moreover, it happens to be in those days, a decree (dogma) was issued from Augustus/Emperor Ceasars, to register all the people in the habitable part of world. 

2 this foremost enrolment/census, happened, as Cyrenius (Quirinius) of Syria was acting as Governor (around February/March 4B.C). 

3 And all the people travels to be enrolled, everyone unto his own city:

4 So, even Joseph went up, from Galilee, out of the town of Nazareth, to Judea, unto the City of (*David), which is called Bethlehem, being from the household of (*David), his paternal descent.

5 and to be enrolled together with Mary, who is espoused to him, being pregnant.

6 but, it happens, as they were in that place, her day  to bring forth (child) is fulfilled.

7 And she brings forth her first-born Son, and wraps Him with strips of cloths and lay Him in a fodder-crib (manger), because there was no room for them in the lodge/guest-chamber.

Shepherds saw a Vision as Angelic Elohim rejoiced at the Birth/emergence of a new son of God, Jesus 

8 And there were Shepherds in the same territory, who camp out in the field and keeping-guard by night over their flock;

9 and behold, the mega part is the fear as the Angel of the Supreme God, stand before them, and the glory of Supreme Lord shines around them, and they were afraid. 

10 And the Angel tells them, behold, fear not;  because I am announcing a good news (euangelize) of mega joy to you, which will be to all the people;

11 for the Saviour is born for you this day, Who is the Christ the Lord, in the city of (*David).

12 And this is the sign to you: you will find an Infant, wrapped in strips of cloth, and lays in a fodder-crib.

13 And suddenly, there happens to be a multitude of heavenly army, together with the Angel, speaking of the excellence of God, saying,

14 Glory to God in the Highest, for Peace upon earth; what a good-will among men! 

15 And it happens as the Angels depart from them into heaven; the Shepherds say to one another, let us doubtlessly pass through, as far as Bethlehem, and see, this utterances that has happened, which the SUPREME Lord has made known to us.

16 And they come with haste, and find in addition to Mary and Joseph, even the baby, lying down in the fodder-crib.

17 So, having seen them, they publish abroad concerning the utterances (rhema), which was preached to them, concerning this child.

18 And all those who heard it, wondered about the things preached by the Shepherds to them.

19 But, Mary/Moriah combined and keep all these utterances closely together in her heart.

20 And the Shepherds return, glorifying and praising God upon all things they have heard and seen, just as it was preached to them.

The Child was circumcised and named JESUS. 

21 And when eight days are fulfilled to circumcise Him, they call His name JESUS (Jehoshua), by which He is called by the Arch-Angel before conceiving Him in the womb.

Simeon sees the Savior before his death

22 And when their purification day is fulfilled, according to the law of Moses, they bring Him to Jerusalem, to present Him to God,

23 (as it is written in the law of the Supreme God, that all the males, opening a womb (as firstborn) is called Holy unto the SUPREME God; (Ex 13:2, 12,15)

24 and to offer a sacrifice of a couple/paired turtle-doves, or two young pigeons (Lev 12:8),  according to things said in the law of the Supreme Lord.

25 And behold, a man has been in Jerusalem, whose name is Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the exhortation of Israel and the Holy Spirit has been upon Him.

26 So, as it has been divinely revealed to him by Holy Spirit, not to see death, prior to seeing Christ the Lord.

27 he also comes in the SPIRIT into the temple; and as the Child-Jesus was introduced by the parents, to perform on Him, concerning the same things that are customary according to the law.

28 and the same man accept Him into his arm, and bless/speak well of God, and says,

29 the ABSOLUTE-RULER (Despota), fully-free your servant in peace now, according to YOUR utterances:

30 for my eyes have seen YOUR salvation,

31 which YOU have made ready in the face of all people.

32  the revelation of Light unto the people of Israel and the heathen-nations, even for YOUR Glory. 

33 And His father, and mother are wondering upon things preached concerning Him.

34 And Simon blesses/speaks well to them, and says toward Moriah/Mary, His mother, behold, lying outstretched unto this Child are supernatural-miracles to be disputed even unto downfall and rising up of many in Israel;

35 and Moreover, as it will be revealed to you, the thoughts of the hearts of many people, is for His Soul to depart anyhow by sword (sabre).

Anna, a widow saw the Savior

36 And there has been, a prophetess, (H)Anna (favored), a daughter of Penuel (face of God), from the tribe of Asher. She is advanced in many days, and had lived with husband for seven-years away from her virginity.

37 And she was a widow up to eighty four years, and did not depart from the temple, ministering to God, night and day in fasting and supplication.

38 And she was present at the hour, to in turn profess, and preach concerning Him, to all those waiting to welcome the redemption of God in Jerusalem.

Jesus grows up in Nazareth. 

39 And as everything according to the law of the Supreme God is completed, they returned to Galilee, even their town, Nazareth.

40 And the Child-grows, strengthened, fully-filled with wisdom, and Grace of God is upon Him.

Jesus at age 12, amazes the Elders

41 And His parents would take a journey to Jerusalem every year for the feast of Passover.

42 and when He becomes twelve-years (old), they went up, according to the custom of the feast-holydays.

43 and having completed the days, they returned, and the boy-Jesus remained behind in Jerusalem, and His parents didn't know.

44 so, they suppose as usual, that He has been in their company (synod); but having gone a day on the road, and search for Him within the relatives, and acquaintances;

45 they did not find Him, so, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking for Him.

46 And it happens to be that amid three days, they find Him in the temple, sitting in the middle of teachers, even to listen to them and to question them.

47 but, all those who heard Him were astonished upon His intelligence (sunesis) and response.

48 And having seen Him, they were amazed, and His mother says to Him, Child, why have You done like this to us? Behold Your father and I, are grieved, seeking for You.

49 And He says to them, why is it that, you are seeking for Me? Is it not that, I must be aware of the fathers among us?

50 And they didn't comprehend the utterances (Rhema) which He preaches to them.

51 And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He is submissive to them. And His mother thoroughly keep all these utterances in her heart.

52 And in wisdom, Jesus advance farther than men of his age, by the Grace from God.

Luke Chapter 3

Luke 3

John the baptizer prepared the mind of people for the way

1 Moreover, in the fifteenth year of ruling of Tiberius Ceasar; Pontius Pilate (firm) acting as Governor of Judea, and Herod, being a TetrArch (ruler of fourth part) of Galilee, also his brothers, Phillip, being a TetraArch of Ituraea and Trachonitis region (rough district of Syria) and Lysanias (grief dispelling) being a TetrArch of Abilene, 

2 High Priest was upon Annas (Ananiah) and Caiaphas; and the utterances of God was upon John, the son of Zachariah, who happened to be in the desert.

3 And he goes to the vicinity of Jordan to proclaim repentance and baptism (washing) unto freedom from sins to everybody;

4 as it is written in the words of the book of Prophet IsaYah (Jah-saves), the voice, of the one shouting in the desert, make the way ready for the Lord; make their worn out paths, straight.

5 the whole valley will be filled up, and the whole mountains and hills will be brought low, and winding-paths will be unto straight and rough unto smooth ways;

6 and the flesh of everybody shall see/clearly discern the salvation of God. (Is 40:3-5). 

John preaches the nearness of the kingdom of God and Holy-Spirit Baptism instead of water-Baptism 

7 Therefore, He tells the crowd, that come out to be baptized (fully whelmed in water) under him: who show you - the offsprings (G1081) who are of the poisonous-serpent by birth - to run away from future wrath?

8 Therefore, begin to produce worthy-fruits of repentance yourselves; because even this father Abraham/Ibrahim that we hold on to, has said and I will tell you that God Who is able to raise up children out from Abraham is not in stones 

9 Moreover, towards everybody lying outstretched, even right now, be producing virtuous fruits, for you not to be a tree to be cut off by the root (with) an axe and then, the trees will be thrown into a fire.

10 So, the crowd ask him, and say, what then shall we do?

11 So, he answered and told them, the one who has two garments should share with the one who do not have; and the one who has eatables should do likewise.

12 Moreover, even tax collectors comes to be baptized, and tell him, teacher, what shall we do?

13 So, he tells them, do not transact more besides what is prescribed to you.

14 Even soldiers also ask him, saying, and what shall we do? And he tells them, intimidate no one, neither be a sycophant (false informants), and be content with your wages.

15 However, people anticipate and reason everything in their heart about John; lest, he were the christ at the time.

16 John answers all the people, saying, I indeed baptize you in water, but the One mighty to me is coming, Whom I am not a competent one (hikanos), for Him to loosen the strap of His sandals; He will baptize you (purify you by being fully whelmed) in the Holy SPIRIT and (in) FIRE;

17 in Whose Hand, His wheats will be gathered together into His storehouse, and be thoroughly cleansed up/purged, however, He will burn down the chaff/integuments (illegal allegation from traducers), and the sputum on His hardened-threshing floor, in His inextinguishable FIRE.

18 even then, by many other exhortations, he indeed announced the good news (evangelize) to the people.

John confuted Herod for having his brother's wife 

19 But, Herod (Hero) tetrarch (ruler of fourth part), is confuted by him concerning Herodias, the wife of his brother, and about all evils which Herod did.

20 And to add upon all those things: he locks up John in prison.

Jesus was baptized in river Jordan

21 Moreover, it happens that as he baptized each of the people, even Jesus was baptized, and as He make prayer, heaven opened up,

God testifies of HIS beloved Son, Jesus, and Baptize Him in HOLY SPIRIT

22 and the Holy SPIRIT descends upon Him, as it were a physical specie of pigeon, and there come to be a voice from heaven, You are My Beloved Son, in You I am well pleased (expression of approval and justification).

Maternal-Genealogy of Jesus Christ in the lineage of His mother.

23 And to begin with, Jesus was about thirty years old, as it were, being Son of Joseph, He is also supposed to be of Heli (Mary's Father),

24 son of Matthat, son of Levi, son of Melchi (my king), son of Jannai, son of Joseph,

25 son of Mattathias, son of Amos, son of Nahum, son of Esli, son of Naggai,

26 son of Maath, son of Mattathias, son of Semei, son of Joseph, son of Judah,

27 son of Joannas, son of Rhesa, son of Zerubabbel, son of Shealtiel, son of Neri,

28 son of Melchi, son of Addi, son of Kosam, son of Elmodam, son of Er,

Luke Chapter 4

Luke 4

satan tempted Jesus through devil (showing a road-map of His journey with His antagonists ahead of His 3 1/2 years ministry) 

1 Moreover, being full of the Holy SPIRIT in Jordan, Jesus was being led from the SPIRIT, and He GOES BACK within the desert. 

2 this is not in a day, for forty days, He eats nothing and at last He was hungry and to FINISH it UP , He was tested under devil.

3 and devil tells Him, howbeit, if You are a Son of God, talk to these stones, at least to become bread.

4 And Jesus responds to it, it is written that man shall not live upon bread alone, (Deut 8:3) + but upon all utterances (rhema) of God+.

5 And in a space of time, He goes up, + into a high mountain and devil+ shows Him all the kingdoms of the earth, in a moment. 

6 And the devil tells Him, You will be given authority to all these things and their glory; because, they have been delivered to me, and I will give it to whom, in case, I desire.

7 Therefore, provided You prostrate in homage/worship before me, all will be Yours.

8 And Jesus answered and tells It, it is written, worship the SUPREME Lord (Jehovah) your God, and only HIM you will serve. (Deut 6:13) [get lost behind Me satan]

9 Moreover, He went unto Jerusalem, and stand upon the wing of the temple, and the same (devil) speaks, if You are the Son of God, throw Yourselves from here downward; (tempting God indirectly) 

10 for, it is written, that HE (God) will command HIS Angels concerning You, to thoroughly protect You;

11 and that, they will lift You upon their hands, and You will not at any time strikes Your feet to a stone. (Ps 91:11-12)

12 And Jesus answered and tells It, it was said, do not tempt the SUPREME Lord, your God (Jehovah). (Deut 6:16) [get lost behind Me satan] 

13 And having FINISHED UP all the temptations, devil departed from Him till due time.

Jesus preaches in Galilee

@ Galilee 

14 And Jesus GOES BACK by the SPIRIT to Galilee, and His  fame concerning mighty-deeds proceed forth into all the surrounding regions.

15 And as He teaches in their synagogues, He is esteemed glorious by all.

Yet, Jesus was despised in His home town, Nazareth. 

16 And on coming to Nazareth, where He has been brought up; He enters according to His custom, into the synagogue, on the sabbath day. And He stands up to read -

17 - the scroll/book of Prophet Isaiah, (which was) delivered to Him. HE unrolled the scroll, and find which place it has been written,

18 the SPIRIT of the Supreme Lord (Jehovah) is upon Me, and by WHOM, I am anointed, for the sake of announcing good news (evangelize) to the poor. I am sent for recovery of sight to the blind, and (to heal the broken-hearted), sent out to proclaim freedom/forgiveness to the oppressed, and freedom to those among captives/prisoners.

19 to proclaim the acceptable years of the SUPREME Lord (Jehovah). (Is 61:1-2)

20 And as He folds the scroll, He gives it away to the officer/minister. Having settled down, all the eyes in the synagogue steadfastly gazed on Him.

21 So, He tells them, that, this day, this Holy writings (scripture) begins to be fulfilled in your ears.

22 And all of them wondered upon the Words of Grace, proceeding out of His mouth as he testified; by saying, is this not the Son of Joseph?

23 And He told them, in all ways,  you will say this parable to Me: Physician, minister healing toward yourself.  And as much as we have heard happened in Capernaum, do so here in Your native town.

24 But He says, Surely I tell you, that no prophet will be approved in his home-town.

25 Moreover, I tell you, upon truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up for three years and six months, as there happened to be a great famine upon all the land. 

26 but Elijah was sent to none of them, except a widow of Zarephath, a woman of Sidon. 

27 Even many lepers were in Israel, in time of prophet Elisha, and none of them was cleansed, except Naaman the Syrian.

28 And having heard this, they were all filled with anger in the synagogue;

29 And they stand up, to cast Him out of the town, and they bring Him to the brink of the mountain, upon which their town is built, to cast Him down;

30 but, He passed through their midst, and go on His way.

Jesus cast out unclean spirits

31 And on coming down to Capernaum, a town of Galilee, He also teaches them on Sabbath days.

32 And they were astonished upon His teaching, because His words has been by Authority.

33 And a man has been in the synagogue, having unclean-spirit; the big part, is a voice of the demon that screams up loud:

34 ha! Why to us? Have You come to fully destroy us, Jesus of Nazareth? I am aware of who You are, the Holy one of God.

35 And Jesus rebukes it, saying, shut up, and get out of him! And the demon fling him into the middle and get out of him, but never injure him.

36 And there happens to be astonishment upon all, and they talk to one another, saying, what words are this, that commanded unclean-spirit by authority and power and it gets out.

37 And the echo (repeated sound) about Him, proceed forth into all places in the surrounding region.

Peter's mother-in-law who was sick with high body-temperatures was healed 

38 Moreover, He stands up, out of the synagogue, and enters into Simon's house. But the mega thing is, the mother of Simon's wife who has been constrained with continuous fever; and they beseech Him about her.

39 And as He stand up above her, He rebukes the fever, and He let her go, in spite of other means; so, she rises up, to serve/minister to them/Him.

Many sick people were healed on the sabbath days and demons are not permitted to preach the gospel.

40 Moreover, as the sun is going down, all of them, as many that have sickness of divers diseases, go to Him and by laying hands on each one of them, healing was ministered (therapeuo) to them;

41 So, even the demons that are getting out of many, are screaming out and saying, You are (Christ) the Son of God. But He rebukes them, not to be permitted to preach, because they know Him to be the Christ.

42 Moreover, there happens to be a day, He proceeds forth and take a journey into a desert place, and the crowd seek after Him, and they come up to Him and hold fast to Him, that He should not depart from them.

43 But, He says to them, that, it is necessary for Me to preach the good news of the kingdom of God, even at other towns; because, I am sent for this thing, - 

44 - which I have proclaimed in the synagogues of Galilee.

Luke Chapter 5

Luke 5

Fisher-men are called to become disciples after a miracle of a big-catch

1 Moreover, there happens that, the crowd are pressing upon Him, to hear the word of God, and He was present beside a pond (lake) of Genesaret:

2 And He saw two boats, standing still beside the pond, and out of which their fisher-men have disembarked, rinsing their nets.

3 So, He embarks into one of the boats, which is Simon's, and asks him to move up a little distant away from the land. So, HE settles down to teach the crowd, out of the boat.

4 Moreover, as He paused the preaching, He says to Simon, move up into the deep sea and lower your net unto a catch.

5 And in responding, Simon says, Commander (Epistata) we have worked hard through the whole night, and have taken nothing, but upon Your utterance (rhema), I will lower the net.

6 And as they do this, they encloses together, many multitudes of fishes; which tears their net.

7 And they make-sign to fellow associates in another boat, who has come to catch with them; and as they come, they fill up both boats, in so much that they were sinking.

8 So, having discerned Him, Simon Peter fall down at the knee of Jesus, saying, Lord, I am a fellow-man who should proceed forth away from sinful things. 

9 however, he was held dumbfounded, and all those with him, upon the catch of fishes they captured;

10 And Jesus says to Simon and similarly to James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who are Simon associates, fear not; from now you will be taking men alive.

11 And as they brought the boats down upon the land, they left absolutely everything, and follow Him.

Jesus instantly heals a leper who wrongly judge the mind of Jesus (compare to Lk 17:12)

12 And He happens to be in one of the cities, and behold, a man full of scaliness (leprosy), sees  Jesus, and upon falling down in front of Him, begs Him, and says, Lord, provided You desire, You can cleanse me.

13 And He stretches out hands, to touch him, saying, I desire; be made cleansed! And immediately, the leprosy departs from him.

14 And he was instructed; speak to no one, but go away, and show yourself to the High priest, and offers up (gift) concerning your purification, just as Moses commanded, unto a testimony to them.

15 However, much more words are spread abroad concerning Him; and many crowds assemble to hear Him, and to be ministered healing to, from their infirmities.

Jesus prayed alone 

16 So, He withdraws to a desert even to make prayer (to God).

Jesus operates with Imperial unction to give parole to a sinner under punishment

17 And it happens to be in one of the days, He was steaching, and the Pharisees and the teachers of the Jewish-law, and those who have come out of all the villages of Galilee, and of Judea, and Jerusalem were sitting down. And the power of the Supreme God is unto healing them.

18 And behold, fellow-men carry a man who has been paralyzed upon a couch, and they seek (for means) to carry him inside, and to be set before Him.

19 but, they could not find by what means to carry him inside through the crowd. So, they go up upon the roof, through the tiles, and lower him, together with the couch into the middle, before Jesus.

20 And having clearly discerned their Faith, He says, man, I let you go of your sin.

21 And the Scribes and the Pharisees begin to deliberate, saying, who is this, preaching blasphemy? Who is able to let go of sins, if not God only?

22 But, Jesus perceives their imagination, He answers and speak to them, what are you reasoning in your heart?

23 which (one) is a easier (more facile), to say, you are let go of your sins, or to say, arise and walk?

24 but, at least, you are aware that the children of Adam have authority on earth to let go of sins. And having spoken, he told the paralyzed man, who has risen up, you, take up your couch (pallet), and depart unto your house.

25 and, without any useful intervention (parachrema), he stands up before them, take up that, on which he was laid, and departs unto his house, glorifying God.

26 And absolutely everyone was held in ecstasy, and they glorify God. And they were filled up with fear, saying, we have seen an extraordinary thing (paradox) today.

Jesus called a sinful Matthew (a levite and decath collector) who changed to people's tax-collector, twas finally changed to collector of saved-people.

27 And amid these things, He proceeds forth, and look closely at a tax-collector, sitting upon tax booth, whose name is of the Levites (Lewis), and He says, follow Me.

28 And he leaves absolutely all behind and stand up, to follow Him.

29 And the same who is of the Levite (Lewis) make a mega reception in His house, and many company of tax collectors and others are with them, who sit down at the meal.

30 And the Pharisees and their Scribes grumble towards His disciples, saying, because of what, do you eat and drink amid sinful tax collectors?

31 and Jesus answers and says to them, those with sound health has no need of physician, but those have sickness.

32 I have not come to call the Righteous, but sinners, unto repentance.

Jesus educates the Pharisees and Scribes on Fasting

33 And they say to Him, John's disciples do fast often, and make supplications, likewise those of the Pharisees; but Yours, eat and drink?

34 But Jesus says to them, it is not possible to make the children in bride-chamber to fast while the bridegroom is with them.

35 but the days are coming in which the bridegroom will be taken away from them, then in that day, they will fast.

Parable of the need for a new-container for new-content 

*(compare to Matt 9 & Mk 2: it is not a parable per se )*

36 so, He even say a parable to them, at new-age, no one cast a patch/emblem upon an old garment, otherwise, the patch will split/sever away from the garment. And if at new-age, the old will split/sever, moreover, things of the new-age will not match with things away from the old, (Matt 9:16) 

37 No one will put fresh (neon) wine into an old skin-bag; and if otherwise, the fresh-wine will break the skin-bag, and it will spilled out, and even the skin-bag will be destroyed;

38 but, at NEW-AGE, wine is fit to be put into a fresh skin-bag, (and both will agree together).

Why the Judaists will not give-in so easily for Christianity. 

39  and no-one who has imbibed/drunk the old will immediately desire the brand-new; because he would say, the old has been useful. 

Luke Chapter 6

 Luke 6

Children of Adam are the Managers of their own REST and sabbath in the law is for man and not man for the sabbath. 

1 Moreover, it happens to be on a second to the foremost Sabbath after the Passover (the first after the paschal week), as He is passing through a corn-fields; His disciples are plucking, and eating grains standing out from the stalk, rubbing (the kernel out from the husk) by their hands, 

2 some Pharisees say, howbeit, why doing what is not lawful on Sabbath?

3 And Jesus answers and says toward them, you have not even read this thing, which, David did, when he and those who were with him were hungry;

4 how he entered into the house of God, and got hold of loaves of show-bread, ate, and gave those who are together with him, which is not lawful to eat, except only the priest?

5 And He tells them, the Sabbath of the Supreme Lord is for the sons of Adam. (Matt 12 ,Mk 2)

Jesus tests the Pharisees with questions to prove that sabbath day of God is for doing good things

6 Moreover, it happens to be on another Sabbath, as He enters into the synagogue and teaches, a man has been there, whom his right hand has withered.

7 So, the Scribes and the Pharisees are watching Him closely, if He will minister healing on the Sabbath, at least, they can find an offence against Him. 

8 He however knows their thoughts, and so, He tells the fellow-man who has a withered-hand, arise, and stand in the middle, and He arises and stands by.

9 then, Jesus says to them, I will ask you, if it is lawful to do good or to do evil on the Sabbath? To save or fully destroy soul?

10 And He looks around to all of them and tells him, stretch out your hand. So, he did likewise, and his hand was restored again (healthy as the other).

11 So, they were filled with annoyance, and consult towards one another, what to possibly do to Jesus.

Jesus usually prays alone 

12 Moreover it happens to be in those days, He will proceed forth unto the mountain to make prayer, and He will be sitting up all night in oratory prayer to God.

Jesus appointed twelve Apostles

13 And it happens to be a day at which, He summons His disciples, and select twelve out of them, whom even He named Apostle (the Sent).

14 So, He assigns name Peter (Petrus; rock) to Simon, and Andrew (manly) his brother; and Jacob (James) and John; and Phillip (fond of horses) and Bartholomew;

15 And Mathew and Thomas (twin); and James, son of Alphaeus; and Simon called zealous (of Jewish independence);

16 and Judah, son of James; and Judah Iscariot (keriothite), who become the betrayer (traitor).

Jesus heals all the sick people (excerpt from Matthew 8:1, after sermon on the mountain) 

17 And He descends down to their midst and stands upon a level place, and many company of His disciples, and many multitude of people from all Judea, and Jerusalem and beside the salt sea of Tyre, and Sidon, - 

- who came to hear Him, were healed from their diseases. 

18 And those harassed under unclean-spirits are ministered healing to.

19 And all the crowd seek to touch Him; because, Power proceeds forth from Him and heal everybody.

Excerpt from sermon on the mountain in Mathew 5-7

Jesus declares categories of people that are supremely blessed. 

20 And He raises up His eyes unto His students (company of disciples), and says, Supremely blessed are the poor, because, the Kingdom of God is yours.

21 supremely blessed are those who are hungry, for they will be satisfied. Supremely blessed are those weeping now, for they will laugh.

22 Supremely blessed are you when men hate you, when they excommunicate you, insult and cast you out as evil-men, on account of the Name of the Son.

23 cheer up and exult for joy in that day; for their fathers did the same things against the prophets. Behold, your wages will be much in heaven. 

Jesus felt sorry for some categories of people 

24 Nevertheless, Alas to you who are rich, for you have received your comfort in full.

25 Alas to you who are satisfied now, for you will famish. Alas to those laughing now, for they will mourn and weep.

26 oh no! For false-speakers/prophet will speak against you all. It was the same thing with their fathers whenever men did well.

Agape-Love explained by Jesus 

27 I will speak, on the contrary, for you to hear: selflessly-Love (agapao) your enemies, do well to those who hate you,

28 Bless/speak well to those who curse you, make prayer concerning those who threaten you.

29 upon smiting your cheek, even offer the other; and the one who takes away clothes from you, even do not forbid him the shirts (check Mathew 5:39-41 for the context) (Jesus only teaches a wisdom that turns the guilty into the innocent)

30 So, give to all people that ask from you; and the one that take your things, do not demand back;

31 And just as you want men to do things for you, at least do things for them likewise.

32 Even, if you Love those who Love you, what is GRACE to you? For, even the sinners love those who love them.

33 and, if you do good to those who do good to you, of what (weight) is Grace to you? For even sinners do the same.

34 And in case you lend, from whom you expect to take interest back, of what (value) is Grace to you? For even sinners lend to sinners, at least to receive equal amount.

35 Nevertheless, Love your enemies, and do good. Lend, and never expect in return; and your rewards will be very much and you will be sons of The HIGHEST; for HE is gracious upon the ungrateful (non-gracious) and evil ones.

Judge with mercy, what you sow, you will reap

36 So, become Merciful, as your FATHER is merciful.

37 And do not judge, so you will not be judged; and never condemn so you will not be condemned. Forgive/free fully, so you will be freed fully.

38 Give and you will be given; give a pressed down, a shaken together and an over-flowing measures of virtuous things unto the one of your bosom. For by what measure you measure with, will be measured again to you.

Parable of the choice of a Right leader and teachable followers

39 Moreover, He speaks even in parable to them, is it ever possible for a blind, to guide a blind? Will both not fall into a ditch?

40 a disciple is not above his teacher; but all who are fully trained (fit, framed, mended and perfect) will be like their teacher.

41 so, why looking at the straw in the eye of your brother, and not thoroughly consider the beam in your own eye?

42 How is it possible to tell your brother; to be permitted to bring out the straw in your brother's eye, and you are not looking at the beam in your eye? You Hypocrite (stage player), first of all, bring out the beam from your eye, and then you will see clearly to bring out the straw in your brother's eye.

A Tree determines the fruit

43 No doubt, no virtuous tree is producing corrupt fruits; again not even a corrupt tree, will produce virtuous fruits;

44 for, each tree is known from its own fruit. For, you will not collect thorns out of fig-tree and (you) will not gather ripe grapes from brier-shrubs. 

45 The good man, from the good treasure of his heart, will bring forth good things; and an evil man, out of the evil (treasure) will produce evil things. No doubt, their mouth will preach, out of the abundance of their hearts.

Jesus warned against disloyalty in Faith unto Him or building upon a shaking foundation. 

46 Moreover, why calling Me Lord, but not doing what the Lord says?

47 All who have come towards Me, and hear My words, and do them, I will show you, whom they are like;

48 they are like men, who dig deep to build a house, and lay foundation upon the rock; so, as flood come into being, river burst upon the house, but can not shake it, because it is well built and founded on rock.

49 However, those who hear, and are not doing it, are like men who build a house upon soil and without foundation; which when river burst upon it, it immediately fall down, and great is the ruins that will happen to that house.

Luke Chapter 7

Luke 7

Jesus saves the Centurion and his servant was automatically healed 

@capernaum

1 Moreover, since He has completed all His utterances unto the hearing of the people, He enters into Capernaum.

2 And a servant of a certain Centurion (captain of hundred soldiers), who was precious to him, was sick, and about to die, 

3 so, having heard about Jesus, he sends Jews-Sahendrists to Him, begging Him to come, so that, He will save his servant.

4 So they come near to Jesus, and beg Him earnestly, saying, that he deserves whom to be afforded this.

5 because, being of non-Jewish nation, he loves us, and he has built the synagogue for us.

6 So, Jesus walks together with them; but now, not far away from the house to receive Him, the Centurion sends friends, to tell Him, Lord, never trouble yourself, because, I am not at least fit, that You should enters under my roof;

7 consequently, not even myself is fit to have come to You; but by speaking words, even my servant will be healed. 

8 because, I am a man that assign to soldiers under me by authority; and I will tell this person, depart, and he departs; and to another come, and he comes; and to my servant do this, and he does it.

9 So, as Jesus heard this thing, it marvels Him; and He turns around to the crowd, who are following Him, and says, I tell you, I have not even found, so vast/so much Faith as this, in Isreal.

10 And those dispatched, return to the house, and find the sick-servant to be healthy.

The son of a Widow of Nain was raised 

11 And it happens to be, in successive days, He travels to a town called Nain, and His competent (hikanos) disciples and many crowd journey together with Him.

12 so, as He approaches the gate of the town, behold, even a dead body was being carried out, the only begotten son of his mother; and she has been a widow, and comptent ones from the crowd of the town, were together with her.

13 And as the Lord saw her, He was moved with compassion upon her, and tells her, weep not.

14 And He came near, and touched the coffin; so, those carrying it, stand still. And He says, young man, I tell you, Rise up!

15 He begins to preach that the dead will be rebuilt/reseated-up and be given to their mother.

16 but, fear get hold of all, and they glorify God, saying, what a mega prophet that rises up within us! And, what a people that their God has visited!

17 And these words about Him spread abroad in all Judea, and all surrounding regions.

John the baptizer sent two of his disciples from prison to question the Savior.

18 And disciples of John also announce these things concerning Him.

19 So, John summons certain two of his disciples, and dispatches them to the Lord, saying, are You the One coming? Or to anticipate for another?

20 So, the men who happen to be from him, says, John the baptizer sends us to You, saying, are You the One coming? Or to anticipate for another?

21 in that hour, He gratuitously ministers healing to many (people) from their diseases and plagues, and evil-spirits, and many blind can see.

22 And He answered and tells them, go forth, and announce to John, those things which you see and hear: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed; and the deaf hear, the dead rise up, the poor are evangelized.

23 And supremely blessed is he, who in case, will not be enticed into apostasy (scandalized) in Me.

Jesus speaks well of John, who was His fellow-destined brother, in spite of his doubtful mind

24 However, as the messengers (angelon) of John gone away, He begins to speak to the crowd concerning John: what have you proceeded forth into the desert to closely look at? Is it a stem shaking under wind?

25 but, who (did you) proceeded forth to see? was he a man clothed in soft-garments? But, behold, glorious/honorable sub-rulers in luxurious/tender clothing are in the palace. 

26 who (did you) proceeded forth to discern? Is he a prophet? Yes, I tell you, on the contrary, He is a superior prophet.

27 This is the one about whom it was written, behold, I send My messenger, in front of Your Face, who will thoroughly prepare Your way before You. (Mal 3:1)

28 I tell you, among the Great ones, born of women, no man is as John; but the small in dignity in the kingdom of God, will be Great as him.

29 And all the people, even the tax collectors who listen and were baptized by the baptisma of John have been justified by God. 

30 but the Pharisees and experts in Mosaic law have rejected the purpose of GOD unto themselves, by not being baptized under him.

31 [and the Lord says] therefore unto what will I liken the men of this generation? And to what are they like?

32 They are like little children sitting in town square, and call to one another, saying, we play flute to you, and you do not dance, we mourn, and you do not weep.

33 for, John the baptizer had come, who neither ate bread, nor drank wine, and you say, He had demon.

34 the Son has come to men, eating and drinking, and you say, behold a man, a glutton and tippler, a friend of sinful tax-collectors.

35 So, the Wisdom is to justify HIS children from everybody.

Mary, the sister of Martha expressed selfless-Love to Jesus in the house of Simeon, a Pharisee (who was a son of a leper)

36 Also, a certain Pharisee beseech Him, at least to eat with him, and as He enters into the Pharisee's house, He recline for a meal. 

37 And behold, a woman in the town, who was a sinner, perceived that He sits at meal in the Pharisee's house. And she carries an alabaster-flask of myrrh-perfume.

38 and she set behind near His feet, weeping as she begins to wash His feet with her tears, and to wipe them dry by the hairs of her head, and she kisses His feet earnestly, and anoint Him with myrrh perfumed-ointment.

39 but, the Pharisee, who invited Him, see it, and speak in himself, saying, if this man has been a prophet, He should have known who and what kind of woman that was touching Him, because she is a sinner.

40 And Jesus answers and says to him, Simon, I have to tell you something, and he says, Teacher, make your thought known.

A Parable of two forgiven debtors: the more your debt forgiven, of course, the more your love 

41 there are two debtors to a certain lender; one owes five hundred denarii; and the other, fifty.

42 they have nothing to pay, and both are pardoned gratuitously (charizomai). Therefore, which of them will Love him the most?

43 Simon answers, and say, taking it up, it is whom, he gratuitously pardons the most. So He said, you have judged (mentally decide) correctly.

The Corollary of the parable is that: she first loved so much, thus she will be forgiven very much. 

44 And He turns around to the woman, to make His thought known to Simon, look at this woman? I entered into your house; no water is given to Me for feet (washing); but this woman has rained tears on My feet and wipe them dry with her hair.

45 as I entered, no kiss was given to Me, but from this one, who has never ceased to earnestly kiss My feet.

46 You did not anoint My Head with olive oil; but she anoints My feet with perfumed myrrh ointment.

47 And whom by grace, I tell you, her plenteous sins has been forgiven, because, she loves much. But, whoever also love little, will be forgiven little.

48 So, He tells her, I let you go of your sins.

49 And those sitting at the table begin to say within themselves, who is this who even forgive sins?

50 Moreso, He says to the woman, your Faith saves you; go forth in Peace.

Luke Chapter 8

The place of Women in the ministry of Jesus 

1 And it happens to be in subsequent time, that He travels throughout every city and village, proclaiming and announcing the good news of the kingdom of God. And the twelve (disciples) were together with Him.

2 And certain women, of whom healing has been ministered to from evil spirits and infirmities, Mary, a Magdalene (inhabitants of Magdala), from whom seven demons got out, was called;

3 even Joanna, the wife of Chuza, a manager of Herod; and Susanna (Shoshanna-lily), and many others were ministering/serving Him out of their possessions.

Parable of a Sower and different Soil types 

4 Moreover, many crowd who travel down to the city towards Him gather together, and He speaks (to them) through parables.

5 A sower proceeds forth to sow his seeds; and as he is sowing, some indeed fall down beside the road. They are trampled upon, and birds of the sky devour them.

6 And another fall down upon a rock. And having germinated, they dry up, because it has no moisture.

7 and others fall down in the middle of the thorns, and by growing together, the thorns choke it;

8 And others fall down on good soil, and germinate, to produce hundred times fruits. As He said this thing, He cries out, those who have ears to hear, should listen.

Reason for speaking parables: for deeper research and understanding 

9 Moreover, His disciples asked Him, what this parable could be?

10 and, He says; to you, it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God, but to the rest, in parable; at least they look, but would not take heed; and they hear, but would not mentally put it together (synesin) (Is 6:9)

Parable of Sower and soil types, explained 

11 However, this is the parable: the seeds are the words of God:

12 those beside the road are those that hear; and afterwards, the devil comes and take away the words from their heart, at least, not to have faith to be saved.

13 Also, those upon the rock, are those who, whenever they hear, will accept the words with joy, of which they have faith towards a time, but these words have no root and they step-aside/depart in time of temptation.

14 also, those which fall into the thorns, these are the ones who hear, but by the care and riches and lust of livelihood, they go away, get choked, and do not accomplish/bear it unto the end.

15 however, for those in the good soil, these are the ones who, hear the words, and hold it fast within good heart and bear virtuous fruit by CHEERFUL ENDURANCE . 

Excerpt from the Parable of a hidden lamp: a burning-lamp will definitely produce light, no matter how faint, for as many that care

16 And, no man who fasten a lamp, should cover it up with equipment or place it under a bed, but should put it upon a lamp-stand, at least, for those entering to see by its light.

17 for, I have not come unto the open, not for what is hidden, not to manifest; and not even what happens to be secret, not to be known. Mk 4:23

18 therefore, take heed to how you are hearing things; because, whoever possibly will hold on to it, will be given; and whoever possibly will not hold on to it, even that which he thinks he is holding on to will be taken away from him. (Matt 25 - the parable speaks to unbelieving Judaists)

Mother of Jesus and His brothers, at a time, were yet to have Faith in Him

19 Moreover, His mother and brothers came near to Him, and were not able to meet with Him, because of the crowd.

20 so, they bring words to Him, that Your mother and Your brothers, are standing outside, desiring to see You.

21 but, He answered and said to them, My mother and My brothers are these ones who hear and do the Words of God.

Sea-Storm obeys the commands of Jesus 

22 Moreover, it happens to be in one of the days and He and His disciples embarked unto a boat, as He said to them, we will pass unto the other side of the lake, and they sail away.

23 so, as they were sailing, He fell asleep, and a storm of wind descended upon the lake, fill (the boat with water), and they were in jeopardy.

24 however, they came near, to wake Him up, saying, Commander, Commander (epistata), we are perishing! And He arose, and rebuked the wind and the surge of the sea-water, also stop, and they become calm.

25 and He tells them, where is your Faith/Persuasion? Howbeit, being frightened, they wondered, and with Ara (a heartfelt call to heaven), they say to one another, who is this man? In that, how did He command and the winds and waters, even listen attentively to Him?

A Gadarene demon possessed-man was freed and the demons got their desire from Jesus because they present a strong reason. 

26 And they sail down unto the territory of Gergesene, which is opposite of Galilee.

27 and He proceed forth upon the land, and encounters a certain man from the town, who has demons, even for a considerable space of time, he has not worn clothes, and does not stay in a house, but in a tomb/grave.

28 So, have discerned Jesus, he screams, and fall down towards Him, and the mega part is a voice which says, why me and You? Jesus, the Son of the Most High God. I beg You, not to torment me.

29 no doubt, He has commanded the unclean-spirit to get out of the man. Nevertheless, over a space of time, many (people) had seized him, kept him bound with chains and shackles (on his feet), but he broke the chains, and was pushed/driven by the demons into the desert.

30 So, Jesus asks him, what is your name? And he says, a legion, because, many demons have entered into him.

31 And they beg Him, at least, not to command them to go away into BOTTOMLESS PIT (abyss).

32 Moreover, there has been herd of swine being fed there on the mountain by experts, and they beg Him to permit them to enter into the same swine; and He permits them.

33 So, the demons get out from the man, and enter into the swine, and the herd dash down the steep place, into the lake, and got drowned.

34 Moreover, those who are feeding them, having seen things that happens, run away, and they announce in the town and in the farm-field .

35 so, they come out to see what has happened, and having come to Jesus, and find the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down in sound mind, and clothed near the feet of Jesus. They were afraid.

36 so, as announced to them, they have seen, how, the man possessed by demons was saved.

37 And the whole populace of the surrounding region of Gergesene (Girgashite) request from Him to return to them as He goes away. However, as they were held in great fear, He embarks unto a boat.

38 Moreover, the man from whom demons has gone out begs Him, to be together with Him, but was dismissed by telling him - 

39 - return unto your household, and relate fully as much as God has done for you, and he goes away and proclaim throughout the city, as much things that Jesus has done for him.

Faith in Christ automatically Saves and Heal (the same way you are saved is the same way you are healed) 

40 Moreover, as Jesus returns, the crowd welcome Him; no doubt, everyone has been anticipating for him.

41 And behold, a man named Jairus came, who was Ruler of the synagogue; even this man fall down near the feet of Jesus, and beseech Him to enter into his house,

42 for, his only daughter, who has been like twelve years, is dying. So, as He is being led in, the multitude crowded around Him.

The Faith of a woman with a flow of blood, saves and heal her 

43 And there was a woman who was in flux of blood away from twelve years, and (has spent the whole means of livelihood to physician) but can not be treated (therapeou) by anyone. 

44 she approaches Him from the back, and touched the fringe of His garment, and her flux of blood stand-still, free of charge. 

45 And Jesus says, who touched Me? So, all the people deny. And Peter says, Commander (epistates), the multitude press on You on all sides, + and you say, who touched Me?+

46 Nevertheless, Jesus says, somebody touched Me; because, I know that power proceed forth from Me,

47 So, as the woman discern that nothing lie hidden, she comes trembling, and fall down towards Him, declaring before all the people, for which reason she touched Him, and how she has been healed, without medication (parachrema).

48 And He tells her, [be courageous], daughter, your Faith has saved you. Go forth in Peace.

Daughter of a synagogue-leader called Jairus, was raised from the dead 

49 As He is still preaching, someone came from ruler of synagogue, saying, your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher further.

50 However, Jesus heard and answer him, fear not; only have faith, and be saved.

51 so, He came into the house, and no person is permitted to enter together with Him, except Peter and John, and James, and the father and the mother of the child. .

52 Moreover, He says to everyone that weep and mourn for her, weep not; for, she is not dead, but sleeps.

53 and they laugh Him down, for they are aware that she is dead.

54 So, He seized her hand, and shouted out to say, child, arise!

55 And her spirit return, and she stands up without assistance, and He directed they should give her things to eat.

56 And her parent were astounded as He instructed them on things (that) will happen, (which) not even one person could tell them.

Luke Chapter 9

Luke 9

The twelve disciples were sent on Industrial training (I.T) 

1 Moreover, He calls together the twelve, and gives them Authority for mighty deeds upon all the demons, and to minister healing to diseases,

2 and He sends them to proclaim the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

3 And He says to them, take up nothing unto the journey; neither staff, nor food-pouch, neither bread, nor money, and do not have two shirts.

4 and possibly, whichever house into which you enter, stay there, and from there proceed forth.

5 and as many as possible who would not accept you, proceed away from that city, and shake off the dust from your feet, unto a testimony upon them.

6 So, they proceeded out, and travel through the villages, announcing the good news and ministering healing in all places.

King Herod was confused about who Jesus is

7 Moreover, Herod tetrarch hears of all things that is happening (by the same Jesus), and was thoroughly nonplussed (perplexed), because underneath, some person say, that John (the baptizer) is risen from the dead;

8 by some person also, it is that, Elijah has shown up; also by others, that a certain ancient prophet has risen again.

9 Herod says, howbeit, I have beheaded John, but who is this, about whom I hear such kind of things, and seek to see Him.

Miracle food for feeding at least five thousands men

10 And the Apostles return to Him and fully relate, as much as they have done. And receive them to Himself, to vacate down on their own into (a lonely place) of a town called BETHSAIDA (fishing house).

11 but, the crowds who know this, follow Him; and He welcome them, and preaches to them about the kingdom of God, and He heals those who have need of medical attendance (therapeia).

12 And as the day begins to slope/wind down, the twelve approach Him and say, dismiss the crowd, at least, to travel into villages and the farms around, to lodge and find food-supply (victuals); for, we are in a desert place here.

13 but, He tells them, you should give (dote) them food. So, they said, it is not more than five loaves and two fishes with/for us, except we travel to buy food unto all these people;

14 no doubt, they are about five thousands fellow-men. So, He says to His disciples, make them to sit down, about fifty per reclining group.

15 And they do so, and all sit up. 

16 so, He takes the five loaves and two fishes, look up to heaven, He blesses and break them down, and gives the disciples to present (parathithemi) them to the crowd.

17 And everybody ate and were satisfied; and they took up twelve small-baskets of broken-pieces that abound of them.

Jesus pray privately and Peter professes Jesus as the Savior 

18 And He happened to be in private unit, making prayer. Moreover, as He is in the company of His disciples, He asks them and says, who do (the crowd) says I am?

19 but they answered and said, John the baptizer; but others, Elijah; and others, certain ancient prophet that rose up.

20 however, He asks them, but you, who do you say I am? So, Peter answers, and says, the Christ of God.

Jesus predicted His death and warns against telling anyone, lest the Priests and co., change their mind. 

21 He evaluates and command them to tell no man, these things (that follows)

22 saying, it is needful that the Son suffer very much; and be rejected from the Sahendrists, and the Chief Priests and the Scribes, and be killed by men and be raised the third day.

The Quality of a true christ follower is Selflessness/Agape Love

23 Moreover, He says to all, if anyone chooses to come behind Me, he will utterly deny himself, lift up his stake/post throughout the day, and follow Me.

24 for, whoever chooses to save their souls, may lose his (own); and whoever possibly lose his own because of these things, I will save his soul.

25 No doubt, what will profit a man, who gains the whole world, but perishes or loses out his own self?

26 for, whoever possibly is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son will be ashamed of that man, whenever He will come in His FATHER'S Glory, and of the Holy Angels.

27 but, I tell you, truly, some persons will  be standing still, who will never taste death, until they will possibly see the kingdom of God.

28 Moreso, it happens to be about eight days, amid that account, He takes Peter and James and John to Himself, and they climb up to a mountain to make prayer.

29 And as He made prayer, there happens to be another form of His face, and He was in glistening white clothing

30 And behold, two men, which are Moses and Elijah were talking together with Him.

31 whom were clearly discerned in glory, and they were speaking of His exit (exodus), which is about to be fulfilled in Jerusalem.

32 Moreover, Peter and those with Him were weighed down with sleep/torpor (hypno); but as they are fully awaken they have been introduced to see his glory and the two fellow men. 

33 And as they happen to have been separated away from them, Peter says to Jesus; Commander, it is good for us to be here, and make three tabernacles: one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah; not aware of what he was saying.

34 so having said these to Him, there happens to be a cloud; and they were frightened, as they enter into the cloud, that cast a shade on them. 

35 And a voice was generated out of the cloud, saying, this is My Beloved (and Chosen) Son; LISTEN to Him.

36 as the voice was generated, Jesus happens to be found alone. But, they keep silent, and declare nothing, which they discern to no-man in those days. 

37 and, it happens to be on the next day, as they come down from the mountain, many crowd meet with Him.

Jesus scolded people for their unbelief and disloyalty, before He cast out demon of epilepsy 

38 And behold, a man from the crowd shouted, saying, Teacher, I beg You to gaze upon my son, for he is my only child.

39 And behold, as the spirit get hold of him, he will screams suddenly, and convulses with froth, shattering him as it was difficult for it to depart from him.

40 And I begged Your disciples, at least to cast it out, and they were not able. [Peter, James and John are excluded] 

41 but Jesus answers and says, oh generation of perverted ones and unbelievers! Till when will I be towards you and put up with you? Bring here your son.

42 so, as he was yet to approach, the demon break him down, and convulse him violently. So, Jesus rebukes the unclean-spirit, and heals the boy, and gives him back to his father.

43 and, all the people were astounded upon the Majesty (greatness) of God. However, all the people wonder upon all these things which He has done. And He tells His disciples, - 

A Reminder of the Prediction of His death 

44 put these words into your ears: for, the Son is about to be betrayed by a man into the hands of men.

45 but, they were ignorant of this utterance (rhema), and it has been hidden all along from them, at least (so as) not to feel it. And they fear to interrogate Him about this utterance.

Who is the greatest among Christians 

46 Moreover, a dispute enters among them; who will possibly be the greatest of them.

47 so, Jesus is aware of the debate of their heart, so, He take hold of a child, and set him near them,

48 and He tells them, whoever possibly, accepts this child in My name, accept Me; and whoever accept Me, accept the One Who send Me. For, the least of these subordinates (sub-rulers) among you shall be the greatest of all. 

John, the beloved was warned against schism: church of Christ is one 

49 Moreover, John answered, and says, Commander, we are aware of someone, casting out demons in Your Name; and he was forbidden, for not following you with us.

50 So, Jesus says to him, do not forbid him; for whoever is not against us, is for us.

Jesus warns against abuse of gift and to recognize the SPIRIT of Grace as He went to a city in Samaria

51 Moreover, the days for His ascension are fully summing up, and it happens to be that His Face steadfastly set, to go unto Jerusalem

52 and He sent messengers prior to His appearance (face) in a Samaritans village, and they traveled, so as to make (the village) ready; but as they enter into the same (village) 

53 they do not accept them, and His face has been of that one, who is traveling to Jerusalem.

54 And the disciples clearly discern it; And, James and John (the roarers) says, Lord, will You want to call fire, to descend from the sky and consume them? [like Elijah did] 

55 but He turns around and forbid (base on evaluation) them. +and He says, you are not aware of what kind of Spirit that is in you.+

56 + for the Son has not come to men to destroy men, but to save souls+. And they journey to another different village.

Jesus prepares the mind of interested followers not to turn back. 

57 and on the way, in their journey, someone says to Him, I will follow wherever provided, You go.

58 And Jesus tells him, ah! foxes (alopex) have lurking place, and nests are for the birds of the sky; but the children of Adam may not hold on to what location to recline their heads.

59 Moreover, He says towards another different person, Follow Me, but he says, Lord, allow me to go away first, and bury my father.

60 But, He tells him, go away and proclaim the kingdom of God to your own (people), so that, the dead will be let go from the dead-ones which are being buried by people. (Matt 8:21-22)

61 and another person also says, Lord, I will follow You; but permit me to bid farewell unto my family first.

62 so, Jesus says to him, no man who put his hands upon a plough, and look unto things behind, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke Chapter 10

Luke 10 

Students gospel-work and experience scheme (SGWES) for seventy disciples

1 Moreover, amid these things, the Lord appoints different other seventy (two), and send them two by two before His face, unto all cities and places, which He intended to go.

2 He also tells them, the harvest indeed is plenty; but workers are few. Therefore earnestly ask the SUPREME Lord, to drive out HIS harvests unto the reaping of the workers. (Matt 9:28)

3 Go away, behold, I send you as it were lambs in the middle of wolves.

4 embrace not even one thing, neither carry money-purse, nor food-pouch, nor sandals, down the road;

5 Moreover, into whoever house you possibly enter, first of all say, Peace to this house.

6 And in case, a son of Peace is there, your Peace will settle upon him; but if otherwise, it will returns upon you.

7 And in the same house you abide, eat and drink from them; because, a worker deserves his wages. Never move from house to house.

8 And, whichever city into which you enter, and they accept you, eat things present to you.

9 in the same city, minister healing to the sick, and tell them, the kingdom of God is drawing near upon you.

10 but, whichever city into which you possibly enter, and they never accept you, proceed forth into its open square, and say,

11 even the dust, that stick to our feet from your city, we scrape you away; nevertheless, know this, that the kingdom of God draw near (upon you).

12 I tell you, on that day, Sodom will be more endurable than that city.

Jesus felt sorry for cities, where more of His miracles were performed and some still remain adamant. 

13 Chorazin, Alas to you! Bethsaida Alas to you! For if the miraculous-deeds that have happened in you had happened in Tyre and Sidon, they would have possibly sit in sackcloth and ashes and repent long ago.

14 Nevertheless, Tyre and Sidon, will be more endurable in judgment than you.

15 And for those of Capernaum, you have been elevated up to the sky, never go down as far as to hades (hideous place). (Matt 11:23). 

16 Those who listens to you, have listened to Me; and those who rejects you, have rejected Me. And those who reject Me, have rejected the ONE Who sent Me.

The seventy came back to defend their SGWES report

17 Moreover, the seventy (two) returns with joy, saying, Lord, even demons submitted unto us in Your Name.

18 But, He tells them, I see satan falling down as it were lightning from the sky.

19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample, up-above the serpent and its scorpion (piercing sting), and upon all power of the enemy, and no one will wrong you/be unfair to you.

20 notwithstanding, do not rejoice, that spirits are submissive to you; but rejoice in this thing, that your names are written in heaven.

Jesus exults in the SPIRIT 

21 in the same hour, He leaps for joy in the Holy Spirit, and says, FATHER, I profess to YOU, the SUPREME God of heaven, and the earth, because you hide these things away from the wise and the intelligent, and reveals them to the simple minded children (nepious); Yes, FATHER, for in this way, it happens to be well pleasing before YOU. 

22 All things are delivered to Me under My FATHER , and no-man knows who the Son is, if not the FATHER; and who the FATHER is, if not the Son, and the Son will be revealed, to whoever, provided is willing (to know).

23 And He turns around to the disciples who are on their own, and says, So Supremely blessed are the eyes that see what you are seeing!

24 No doubt, I tell you, because many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it; and to hear what you are hearing but did not hear it.

A law expert who had previously heard from Jesus cited the Law of Moses correctly, as amended. 

25 And behold, a certain expert of the law stand up, to test Him, and he says, Teacher, what is to be done, to inherit eternal life?

26 And He says toward him, what was written in the law? How would you read it? 

27 And he answers and says, SELFLESSLY - Love the SUPREME Lord, your God, out of your whole heart, and in your whole soul, and by your whole strength, and in your whole mind (Deut 6:5); and your NEIGHBOR/Country-man as yourself. (Lev 19:18)

28 so, He tells him, you have answered correctly; and you will live by obeying these things. 

A Parable of merciful Samaritan: (show mercy by giving your best, as the case requires, answer the twist of the law expert, who will not want to give all his properties to his neighbor as in Matt 19:21)

29 Moreso, he says towards Jesus; what things will I desire fo my OWN neighbor to be justified? 

30 To take him up, Jesus says, a certain man went down from Jerusalem unto Jericho, and fell among robbers, who even stripped him off, and inflicted wounds on him, and went away, leaving him half-dead.

31 By coincidence (sugkuria), a certain priest was going down in that way, who sees him, and passed-by on the other side;

32 Also, even a Levite similarly happens to go down the place, who sees him, and passed-by on the other side.

33 but a certain Samaritan, who is travelling, come down to the same place, and having seen him, he was moved with compassion.

34 and he goes near him, bandage his wound, pour wine (alcohol) and olive oil; and mount him upon his own domestic-animal, leading him to a public lodge/inn, even to take care of him.

35 And upon next day, he cast out two denarii, and give to the inn-keeper/host, and says, take care of him, and anything which possibly you spend, as I return, I will pay you.

36 Which of these three, do you think, happens to be the neighbor of the one who fell unto the robbers?

37 And he says, the one, who do things with mercy to him, so Jesus says to him, you, go forth and do likewise.

The choice to listen to the hygienic/SOUND words of God must not be under-rated

38 Moreover, as they are traveling, He enters into a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha, accept Him into her house.

39 And there has been a sister to this woman, called Mary/Moriah, who even sits down near to the feet of the Lord, listening to His words.

40 but, Martha is distracted, concerning so much caring-service. So she comes up to says, Lord, are You not concerned, that my sister abandon me alone to serve? Therefore tells her at least to co-operate with me.

41 so, the Lord answers and tells her, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and disturbed about many things;

42 but, the requirement/need is little; however, Mary has chosen one good section, which she will not be deprived of.

Luke Chapter 11

Luke 11

Excerpt from sermon on the mountain in Matt 6

1 And it comes into being, as certain persons stop in places, to make prayer. So, Certain persons of His students (disciples) says toward Him, Lord, teach us to make prayer, just as John teaches his disciples on it. 

2 so, He tells them, whenever you make prayer, say, our FATHER, + WHO is in heaven+ we make YOUR Name Holy/consecrated; (let) Your kingdom comes. + (let) Your desire happen upon earth, as (it is) in heaven+

3 Give us this day, our loaves of bread, according to daily-provisions.

4 And forgive us our sins, because we also forgive everybody who is indebted to us; and for us not to be led into temptation, +on the contrary, rescue us from the vicious one+.

Advantage of a TRUE Friendship is a trust to dare ask for anything:

5 And He says to them, who out of you have a friend, and he will come to you at midnight, and he will say, friend, lend me three loaves of bread;

6 since, my friend is on the way and has come near towards me, so, I am not having what to present to him.

7 and you, from inside, would answer and say, do not cause me trouble; the door is shut already, and my children are with me on the bed; and it is not possible to stand up to give it to you.

8 I tell you, even if you will not give it to him, you will stand up, because of being his friend ; and besides, because of his EFFONTERY, you will rise up to give him as much as he needs.

The Need to hungrily demand for Holy SPIRIT can not be over-emphasized

9 And I tell you, Ask, and you will be given; seek, and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.

10 for, all who ask will receive; and the one who seek will find; even to the one who knock, it will be opened up.

11 howbeit, who out of you as a father, [whom his son ask him for bread: why will he not give the son a stone? Or whom his son will ask him for fish, and instead of a fish, will give him a serpent?

12 Or even ask for egg, will he gives the son scorpion (with piercing sting)?

13 Therefore if your subsisting-rulers who are of evil one, are aware of giving good gifts to your children, how much more, the FATHER from heaven, will give Holy SPIRIT to those who ask HIM?

Jesus was accused of using beelzebub and some are asking for sign

14 And He has been casting out demons. So there was a muted person; and it happens that as the demon get out, the muted person preaches. And the crowd wondered.

15 But, some persons from them says, He cast out demons, by Beelzebub (deity of Ekron) which is the chief-ruler of demons.

16 Moreso, others are tempting Him, seeking a sign out of heaven from Him. (to be given in vs 29).

17 but, He knows their thoughts, and tells them, all kingdoms that divide upon themselves, will be brought to desolation; and a house upon a house will fall down.

18 However, even if satan's divide upon itself, how will its kingdom stand? For you say, I cast out demons by beelzebub.

19 If I cast out demons by beelzebub, by whom would you have cast it out? So, by this reason, your sons will be the judge.

20 however, if (to you), I cast out demons by the finger of God, Ara (a heartfelt call to heaven), the kingdom of God has arrived beforehand upon you.

21 whenever an armed valiant-man, guards a yard by his own self, his master's possession will be in peace. 

22 but, whenever (another) valiant-man to him, attack and subdue him, his full armour upon which he is persuaded, will be taken away, and his booty will be distributed.

23 the one who is not with Me, is against Me; and those who convene together with Me, will never be scattered. (Matt 12: 25-30

Necessity to be filled with Holy/Clean Spirit

24 Whenever the unclean spirit escape away from a man, it goes through water-less places, seeking rest; but by not finding one, it will say, I will turn back to my house, from where I escaped.

25 And as it comes, and find it (on holiday), swept, and decorated;

26 it will bring another more-vicious seven spirits than itself at this time, and enter to dwell there; and the latter end of that man, will become worse than the former.

Equal grace of salvation is for everybody

27 However, as He told them these, a certain woman happens to raise up her voice from the crowd, telling Him, supremely blessed (makaria) is the womb that bear You, and the breast which given to You to suck.

28 But, He says, never mind, rather, the supremely blessed are those who hear and keep the words of God.

Three days experience of Jonah is given to sign-seekers of vs 16 as in Matt 12:40

29 Moreover, as the crowd, accumulate together, He begins to say, evil generation of this generation are seeking after sign, and no sign will be given to it, except the sign as of prophet Jonah.

30 no doubt, just as Jonah happened to be a sign to the Ninevites, even this way shall the Son be to men of this generation. 

31 the Queen of the south will be raised up in judgment amidst the fellow-men of this generation, and will condemn them; for coming from the uttermost part of the earth, to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, the One more than Solomon is here.

32 Men of Nineveh will be raised up in judgment amidst this generation, and condemn it, for they repented unto the preaching of Jonah; and behold, the One more than Jonah is here.

Lamp must shine no matter the obscurity imposed

33 No man fasten a lamp, and set it in a hidden place, it should not even be under measuring-module, but upon the lamp-stand, at least for those entering in to look at the light-brilliancy.

34 a lamp is for the eyes of the body. When your eyes is of the simple/uncomplicated one, even every whit of your body will be bright; but whenever it is of the evil one, even your body will be dark.

35 therefore, watch/aim that, the light in you, is not of darkness.

36 therefore, if whenever your lamp shine, it is as a lightning, your whole body will be well-illuminated, and you will not have certain dark part, and you will be bright altogether. 

Jesus enlighten the Pharisees on inadequacies of the law of Moses (Torah). 

37 Moreover, as He preaches, a Pharisee asks Him to dine with Him. So, having entered in, anyhow, He sits at the table.

38 But the Pharisee, wonder to see that He did not first wash (baptizo) before the dinner/best meal.

39 So, the Lord says to him, now, you, the Pharisees, cleanse the outside of a cup and of a dish, but full inside of you are extortions and depravities.

40 the unmindful one! Is HE not the ONE Who make the outside that make the inside?

41 Nevertheless, you will discern that giving of alms should exist within/inside you, for all things to be clean to you.

42 But, Alas! to you, the Pharisees; you pay/take a tenth (apo-decatoo) of mint (sweet scented plant), and rue (fleshy leaves) and herbs to God, but judgment by selfless-Love (agape) for everybody are passed aside. Even this thing MUST not be neglected, and likewise those things should be obeyed. (compare with Matt 23:23)

43 Alas to you, the Pharisees, for you love to sit first in the synagogues, and greetings in the market.

44 Alas to you, for you are, as it were, a hidden (unmarked) graves, and men who are walking around, up-above (them) are not aware.

Experts at Moses law are also educated by the Rabbi 

45 but, a certain lawyer (expert in Moses law) responds, and tells Him, Teacher, by saying these things, even You are insulting us.

46 So He says, even to you, the lawyers, oh no! You load up oppressive burdens on men, and you do not touch the burden with one of your finger.

47 Alas to you, for building the graves of the prophets, the same whom also your fathers killed.

48 Ara (a heartfelt call to heaven), you are witnesses, by consenting, to the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them; and you are building (their tombs).

49 for this reason, even speaking by the wisdom of God; Apostles and Prophets (speakers) will be sent unto the same people, and out of them, they will kill and persecute;

50 at least, to demand from this generation, the blood of all the prophets, shed/spilled, away-from the conception of the world. 

51 from the blood of Abel, up to the blood of Zachariah (2Chr 24:21), the one destroyed between the temple; yes, I tell you, it will be demanded from this generation.

52 Alas to you the lawyers, for you take away the key of knowledge; you are not entering, and you hinder those who are to enter.

53 (having said these things towards them), He proceeds forth from there. However, the Scribes and the Pharisees, terribly hold in grudge, even as He begins to speak off-hand/articulate concerning more things; 

54 laying wait for Him (and seeking) to catch something from His mouth, (at least to accuse Him of).

Beware of the teachings of Pharisees 

1 Myriads of crowd gather together, such that they trample on one anojither, in which He begins to speak to His disciples: first of all, be cautious yourselves from the leavened dough of some of the Pharissees, in that, there is hypocrisy.

2 Moreover, there is nothing concealed, which will not be revealed, and hidden which will not be known;

3 For as much as what you say in the darkness, will be made manifest and heard; even what I preach towards the ears, in the closet, will be proclaimed upon the housetop (dome).

Jesus teaches Christians to be fearless of death from any man. 

4 Nevertheless, My FRIENDS, I tell you, never be frightened of those who will kill (you) away from the body, but amid these, they will never have anything more exceeding to do.

5 I will show you below, who to fear. Fear the One Who will kill, and amid it, has authority to cast into gehenna (the valley of hinnom). Yes, I tell you, fear HIM.

6 is not five sparrows being sold at two Assarius (Roman coin), and one of them is not forgotten before God.

7 but, even all the hairs of your head, are enumerated. Fear not, you surpass many sparrows.

Depends all the way, on the HOLY SPIRIT to evangelize

8 Moreover, I tell you, every messengers of men who possibly profess Me in front of men, even the Son will profess him in front of God;

9 but, the messenger who denies Me before men, I will deny before God;

10 and, all men who utter words unto the Son shall be forgiven him, but, the one who blasphemes unto Holy Spirit, will not be forgiven.

11 So, when you are brought to the synagogues, upon the ancient-time authorities, do not be anxious of what or how to plead for yourselves (be apologetic), or what to say;

12 no doubt, Holy SPIRIT will teach you in the same hour, what you need to say.

Jesus teaches that eternal Life is superior to possessions; Get zoe-Life and see riches as being transient.

13 Moreover, someone says from the crowd to Him, Teacher, tell my brother to share the inheritance with me.

14 Howbeit, He tells the man, who designate Me a judge or apportioning-officer (arbitrator) upon you?

15 however, He says to them, clearly discern all fraudulences; because the Life of someone will not superabound in him by keeping of his possessions.

Parable of a Godless and foolish rich-man 

16 So, He speaks a parable to them, saying, the land of a certain wealthy-man produces well.

17 And reasoning within himself, saying, what is to be done? For I have no where to store up my fruits.

18 And, he says, It would be good for me to do this: I will demolish my barn, and build great one, and store all the grains there.

19 And I would say to my soul; soul, it is good to have plenty things lying outstretched unto many years; eat, drink, make merriment and rest

20 But, God tells him, the unmindful one! your soul will be demanded back from you this night; so, to whom will that which he had prepared be?

21 it will be likewise to the one who amass/hoard wealth unto himself, but is not rich unto God.

Give no room for anxiety, you belong to a winning Team

22 Moreover, He says unto His disciples, for this reason, I say, your soul is not to be anxious of what to eat, and not even of what to put on the body.

23 no doubt, soul is more in quality than food, and body than clothing.

24 fully observe the ravens, which have no storehouse, nor barn, for they do not sow, nor harvest, but God nourishes them; how much more, you surpass birds!

25 so, who, out of you, by being anxious, can add one forearm (cubit) upon his stature?

26 then, if the least is not even possible, why being anxious about the rest?

27 Fully observe the Lillies, how they grow; they do not labour, nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory, is arrayed as one of these.

28 So, if herbage of the field, exist today, and next day is thrown into furnace, how much more will God likewise clothes you, the little-believers (lacking in confidence)?

29 So, you should not seek after what to eat, and never be in suspense (raised in the mid-air) of what to drink;

30 because, the heathen-nations crave for all these things; but your FATHER knows, you are in need of these things. 

Get saved and do the work of Love, the Kingdom is yours. 

31 Nevertheless, seek HIS Kingdom, and those things will be added to you.

32 Fear not, little flock, for your FATHER is well pleased to give you the kingdom.

33 sell your possession, and mercifully give alms, you will make purses of unobstructed treasure, which will not wear-out for yourselves in heaven; where thieves never approach, nor messy-houseflies corrupt.

34 for, where your treasure is, even there will be your heart.

Parable of dilligent servants, who are vigilant till a very late hour, in the night. (LATENESS OF HIS COMING WAS PREDICTED) 

35 your waist should be belted up, even (your) lamp, kindled/lit up;

36 and by analyzing, you are similar to men, who are waiting to welcome their own lord, to a wedding feast. At least, when he comes and knocks, they will immediately open (the gate) for Him.

37 Supremely blessed are those servants, whom their lord will come and find them staying awake/watching. So shall it be (amen), I tell you, because they are belted up, they will sit down at the meal, with him and serving/waiting as attendant, will pass away. 

Jesus consistently advised watching till night-time which suggest the lingering of His second coming. (2026 years of A.D is past already). 

38 And if he comes in the second, or if in the third night watch, (2 or 3am) and  how Supremely blessed are those ones find doing likewise!

39 Moreso, know this, if a housemaster is aware of what hour the thief would come, he would have stayed awake, and will not possibly allow his house to be broken into (penetrated)

40 and you, get ready; for the hour which you do not think, will the Son come to men.

Faithful servants will be rewarded according to their commitment

41 Moreover, Peter says, Lord, do You speak this parable to us, or even towards everybody?

42 And the Lord says, Ara (a heartfelt call to heaven), who is a trustworthy and thoughtful house-manager, whom upon caring/attendance (therapy), his lord designated him to give out a portion of food in proper time to his households

43 Supremely blessed is that servant, whom his lord comes and find doing it in like manner.

44 Truly, I tell you, that he will be designated upon all of his master's possessions.

45 but, in case, that servant says in his heart, my lord delays to come, and begins to beat the male servants and female servants, and he is both eating and intoxicated with drinking. 

46 The lord of that servant will arrive in a day which is not anticipated, and in an hour which is not known, and they will be divided into two (dichotomous), and they will be placed among SECTION of unbelievers (infidel).

47 Moreover, that servant, who knows the desire of his lord, and do not prepare, nor do things towards his desire, will be beaten much;

48 however, the one who do not know, but does things deserving stripes, will be beaten few. No doubt, everyone who is given much, much is sought from him, and to whom much is committed, much more abundant will be demanded from him.

Jesus predicted the coming of inter and intra-family persecution for Christians and the need to contend for Peace

49 Fire will be thrown upon the land, and if I will be going, why desiring to kindle it even now?

50 But, I have baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed am I, up till when it is accomplished!

51 Do you think that giving of Peace on earth has come near? I tell you, not indeed, but rather disunion (in opinion and conduct);

52 no doubt, from now, there will be five in one house, divided into three upon two, and two upon three.

53 Father will be divided against son, and the son upon father, mother upon daughter, and daughter upon mother; wife's mother upon her married daughter, and married daughter upon her mother (wife's mother).

Discernment is beyond physical-science 

54 Moreover, He tells even the crowd, whenever you see cloud rising up from the west, you will immediately say, a shower is coming; and it will happen so.

55 And when south wind blows, you will say, there will be heat, and it happens.

56 hypocrites! you know how to examine the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how is it that you do not prove it out with this set-time? 

Be smarter than your enemy (excerpt from sermon on the mountain Matt 5:25)

57 Moreover, why can't you judge/mentally decide things of the righteous one from yourselves?

58 because, upon being a ruler, withdraw/depart for the discharge of duty to your opponent, and give him as you are with him on the road, to be exempted/released from him; lest he drags you at any time towards the Judge, and the Judge will deliver you to the practiser/officer, and the officer will throw you into the prison.

59 I tell you, you will not at all, get out from there until you pay, even the last small coin (lepton).
