Paul recount on their assessment of the church
1 Paul and Silvanus (Silas) and Timothy, to the churches of Thessalonians, in the Lord Jesus Christ and God the FATHER. Peace with God + the FATHER + and Grace from + our Lord Jesus Christ+ be unto you.
2 We are always grateful to God concerning everybody, making reference to you upon our oratory prayer; -
3 - remembering without omission before God and our FATHER, your work of selfless-Love and the cheerful-endurance in hard-work and the pleasurable-hope in the Faith unto our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Remember how you are saved
4 selflessly-love the brethren, be aware of your election under God.
5 because our good message did not happen to be unto you in much information of words only, but also in mighty-miracles, even by the Holy Spirit, just as you are aware of the kind we become within you, because of you.
6 and you, became our imitators, even by accepting the words of the Lord within much tribulation (Act 17) with Joy of the Holy SPIRIT.
Be a good example
7 in so much that you become example to all who have Faith in Macedonia, and in Greece (Achaia).
8 Because, the words of God was echoed/resounded from you, not only in Macedonia, and Greece (Achaia in Europe) but your Faith towards the Lord proceed forth to everyone in places, in so much that, no need to have us preach to anyone.
9 for it was reported concerning us, of what kind of entry we had towards you and how you turned towards God away from idols, even to serve the Living and True God,
10 and as you are expecting His Son from Heaven, Who was raised up again out from the dead, even Jesus, Who has rescued us from the wrath to come.
