Hebrew chapter 3

Heb 3

Jesus as a faithful High priest (Paul is dissecting the book of Revelations by Apostle John) 

1 From there on, the Apostles, the Brethren, the saints, and even the participants of the heavenly invitation/calling, should fully-consider our acknowledgment of Jesus, (as) the High Priest - 

2 Who is faithful to obey HIM, even like Moses in the whole of HIS household.

3 for THIS person is deemed worthy of greater glory alongside Moses, for as much as the one who fully-construct a house has greater honour with respect to it.

4 for all houses are fully constructed under someone, however, God fully-created all things.

5 And Moses indeed, was faithful, as a caring-therapist, in the whole of HIS household, unto a testimony of things to be preached;

6. But, Christ as the Son upon HIS households, whose households we are, in case with frankness, we hold fast to a boasting of our pleasurable hope, and to be firm as far as the ultimate end.

Be ye Faithful to the end 

7 on that account, just as it was said by the Holy Spirit, "This DAY (at present), in case you hear His voice,

8 never harden your hearts, as in the day of provocation/disappointment, with respect to the temptations in the wilderness, 

9 where your fathers tempted ME by trials and saw MY works for forty-years.

10 because of that, I was vexed with that generation, and said, their hearts have gone astray forever, howbeit, they did not know MY way;

11 I swear, if they will enter into MY REST, it will be as though in MY wrath. (Ps 95:7-11)"

12 Look, Brethren, not at this time, should evil heart of unbelief be in anyone of you, in departing from the Living-God. 

13 But, until" This Day", each person, who has been called forth, should exhort yourselves with respect to "the Day", at least, never should anyone out of you be stubborn by deception of sin.

14 because, the partakers/participants will become firm, in case we hold fast to our underlying reality/support of Christ from the early stage until the ultimate end.

15 as it was said, on "This DAY", in case you hear HIS Voice, never hardened your heart by resentment/rebellion. (Ps 95:7-8)

Failure of forefathers in the wilderness

16 because, shouldn't everybody get out of Egypt? But, should someone heard it through Moses and be embittered/provoked?

17 Moreover, who vexed HIM for forty-years? And Was it not indeed, the colon (body part) of those who trespassed, that fell in the desert? 

18 why did HE also swear that they will not enter into the REST? If not to those that disbelieved/were unpersuaded.

19 for, they were not able to see and enter in, because of faithlessness/unbelief.
