Hebrews chapter 6

Heb 6

Let us go to perfection: nobody should fall out

1 By that reason, leave the dead works upon the account/words of God, away from the ancient times, and be brought up to MATURITY (mentally and morally). And not to be laying down again, the foundation of Repentance, and Faith upon Christ, - 

2 - in addition, are the teachings of Laying of hands and (Spirit) Baptisma and even the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 

Once saved can be saved again by repentance

3 And, we will  also be doing these things, in case God permits;

4 because, he, who was once enlightened and have tasted/experienced heavenly gifts and partaker of the Holy Spirit, but become weak/strengthless, 

5  who had tasted the power of God and the virtuous utterances (rhema) of the coming age;  

6 (for him), to fall away is to put to public shame and re-crucified the Son on his own, and to be restored/renovated (to new-age) again will be by repentance unto God.

7 because, a soil, having drunk the rain that often came upon it, should produce befitting vegetables, because of those who tilled it, for having partaken from the blessings of God;

8 but, to bring forth, thorns and thistles, will be unapproved/rejected, which is near to the curse of being burnt at the ultimate end. 

Immitate better examples

9 Moreover, even if we have preached in this way, and you are persuaded concerning salvation, Beloved, hold on to better things, 

10 SERVE by SELFLESS-LOVE which you should show forth unto His Name, by ministering to the saints. Because, God is not unjust, to neglect your works. 

11 we also crave each one of you to show forth eagerness towards the information/things fully known of Him, with PLEASURABLE-HOPE until the ultimate end;

12  but at least be imitators of those who through Faith and long-Patience, never become dull to inherit the promise.

Irrevocable promise of God to Abraham, after long-forbearance is fulfilled in Christ 

13 for God to promise Abraham, since HE had no one to swear with, but with respect to the Greatest, He swore with respect to HIMSELF. 

14 HE said, if it is to bless, surely, I will bless you, and to multiply, I will multiply you; (Gen 22:17) 

15 and likewise by long forbearance, he obtained the promise.

16 No doubt, men do swear with respect to the one greatest to them, and there will be an oath unto confirmation, which will be the utmost end of all disputes.

17 by which, even God is more abundantly willing to show the heirs of the promise, that, HIS counsel/purpose is unchangeable/immutable. So, HE guaranteed (ratified) it by oath.

18 on account that even two (persons) could lie, the practicable-deal (pragma) of God will be unchangeable, by which, a Powerless man (Abraham) at least could exercise strength and have encouragement to flee away (from native land), to lay hold on things set before him, with pleasurable-hope.

19 which, we have as a sure and firm anchor of our souls, for entering into the inner-veil,

20 where Jesus had entered for our sake, (as) High-Priest according to the order/class of Melchizedek, to become the forerunner/precursor unto ages.
