2Thess Chapter 2

2 Thess 2

The last global apostasy, and proper view of the events in reference to the Book of Revelation

1 Moreover, I will interrogate you, brethren, upon the return of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and our gathering together for Him:

2 because, on account of the SPIRIT, to the intent of not being agitated; you are neither to be troubled, not even from your minds, neither through words, nor through letters as on our account; as though, the day of the Lord will be at hand quickly.

3 no one of you should be fully deceived by any means, because in case, apostasy (defection from Truth) has not come first, and the man of lawlessness (illegality) is revealed, even the child of damnation, -

4 - who will oppose God and say things to exalt himself upon everybody, in so much that he will settle down in the temple of God, unto showing off himself that he were God or someone of respect/reverence as God.

5 didn't you remember that, I spoke towards these things, (while) I was still with you?

6 hold fast unto it, even now that you are aware of the one to be revealed, in its own time.

7 for, the mystery of the one of lawlessness is working already; it is only held down fast, from now, till it comes into being from the centre (middle part: Jerusalem). (Rev13)

8 And at the time, the lawless man (loveless man) shall be revealed, whom at the return of the Lord Jesus, iT will be taken away/annihilated by things of His mouth, and at His appearance/epiphany, the SPIRIT will abolish/annul iT (Rev 19:15,19,20)

9 the advent/presence of whom is according to the ability/working of satan, in all (magical) powers and signs, and lies and wonders. (Rev 13)

10 and all (people), who do not accept the Truth of SELFLESS-LOVE unto saving them, will instead, perish by deception in wrongdoings;

11 And because of this one of delusion and lies, We are dispatched by God with operation/energy unto having faith;

12 at least, everybody who do not believe the Truth, but delight in wrongdoings will be judged.

Stand firm and stay encouraged

13 However, Brethren, we must worship/give thanks to God always concerning you, the Beloved of the Lord, for you are preferred under God, from early stage by Faith in the Truth unto salvation and purity/sanctification by the SPIRIT.

14 and unto which you are called-forth through us, by the gospel, unto acquisition of the Glory (with) our Lord, Jesus Christ.

15 Therefore, Brethren, ara (heartfelt desire lifted to heaven), stand firm, and lay hold on to the transmitted things/handed down precepts, which you were taught, whether through words, or through our letters.

16 So, by the Grace of the Lord, Jesus Christ, even our FATHER God, WHO selflessly Love us, will give us HIS good things and support/encouragement for ages in our pleasurable hope.

17 and by (my) words, encourage your hearts, even to be resolutely set firm for good works.
