HEBREW Chapter 13

Heb 13

Right-living in Christiandom 

1 Brotherly love (Philadelphia) should continue;

2 never neglect hospitality; because through this, someone, entertained messengers unawares. Gen 18:2 (H582- four mortal men)

3 Remember prisoners as though you were  a co-prisoner; and the one being maltreated as you were in the same body.

4 Marriage should be precious/honourable among everybody, and bed should be undefiled; for God will judge, the prostitute and Adulterer.

5. lifestyle should be without covetousness/stinginess, be satisfactory with things present near you. No doubt, He has spoken, I will never leave/be unsympathetic to you, no, never at all, will I forsake/abandon you. (Ref: Josh1:5, Deut 31:6,8)

6 in so much that, we are confident to say, the Supreme God is my Helper, I will not be afraid, what will man do to me? (Ref: Ps 118:6)

Right Conducts in a better sanctuary 

7 Remember those lead/direct you. Some of who preaches to you, the words of God. Reconsider Faith is, in turn, the way of escape to immitate. 

8 Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and today even unto the ages,

9 do not be carried away by strange and different teachings; for, it is beautiful to stabilize/establish the heart by grace, and not by food (allowed or forbidden); in which those walking (in it) are not benefited. 

10 they have an altar from which the worshippers of the tabernacle, have no authority to eat;

11 for, the blood of this animals for sins is brought, into the holy place; whose bodies are wholly burnt outside the camp through the high priest;

12 And, by this reason, Jesus, make the people holy through His Own Blood and suffered outside the gate.

13 truly now, we have proceeded towards Him, who bear the reproach of the army-camp, outside. 

14 for, we have no city here to abide, but (we are) seeking after the one about to come. 

15 Therefore, on account of re-offering up of animals-sacrifices; the same is the act of praising God by lips through His Name, (which is) the fruit of professing those things to everybody.

16 So, do not neglect well-doings; because, such a sharing/partnership is the animal-sacrifice (which is) well pleasing to God.

17 Be submissive to those directing/leading and persuading you; for they watch over your souls, as though, they will give account back; at least, for these ones to do it with joy, and never to moan/grieve, for that will be unprofitable to you.

Pray as we Pray: desire it, be persuaded and pray very well.

18 because, to have virtuous co-perception in all things, desire (it), be persuaded concerning (it), and make prayer that will turn things around, and  it will be well. 

19 so, I exceedingly beseech you to do this, at least, for you to be restored/reinstated quickly.

Final exhortation and benediction

20 Moreover, having brought, the Great Shepherd of the sheep out from the dead, and the eternal covenant in the blood of our Lord Jesus: the Peace with God.. 

21 ... will thoroughly prepare (mend, restore, fix) you, in all things, unto doing His good pleasure, by making us acceptable before HIM, through Jesus Christ, unto Whom be the glory, from ages unto ages. Amen.

22 Moreover, I exhort you, Brethren, to bear with (my) brief words of exhortation, through communicating to you by letter.

23 our brother Timothy is fully free; with whom you will know and discern things more quickly, in case he comes. 

24 Greet all those leading you, and all the holy saints from Italy (in Europe) greet you, Grace be with you all.+ Amen+
