Solomon Chapter 7

Solomon 7

Solomon conclude with polite warnings

1 How beautiful are her feet in shoes and curved slippery jewelries in her hands and hip/thigh! If a daughter believes in the activities/works of her noble-Prince!

Beware of loving others  because of money and beauty

2 just as the categories of belly, the moon-Crescents, the sheaves of lily and the reservoir of wheat; so shall the disposition/temperament/emotional-state that reigns (now) will soon be missing/lessened/deficient.

3 (so shall it be) with your two breasts like a twin female-deer, even the two could be like dust/dirt-

4 - (so shall it be) with your neck which is as tower of magdala and my eyes that lean forward/watch the faces of beth-rabbim (many-daughters) of Damascus (in Syria), even the nose/nostrils which is as the reservoir of blessings in Heshbon (east of Jordan), and your teeth which is as the (snowy) gate of Lebanon;

5 - the crimson (dyed robe) of the king will be bound (someday) by a poor-man into a rag-collector. And as it shall be for the head/summit of (mount) Carmel (fruitful-hill), so shall it be to all Head-masters.

Beauty in relation to height and breast in the personal-view of the king Solomon (O. Y. O)

6 How beautiful and well-pleasing is the pleasure/luxury/enjoyment of love!

7 -: her height that resemble date-palm tree, and her breast which is as cluster of grapes;

8 it is said, if it is as palm tree, it shall be climbed up/ascended. if it is a cluster of grapes of vine-tree, it shall be caught, because, of their scent to the nostrils is like apple. So it is with a tapered/pointed breast.

There is good relationship between the groom and his bride's uncle

9 I shall walk with equity/uprightness with her Uncle, even if I am sleepy, my lips still move slowly because his wine is good to the  palate of my mouth.

10 my passion/longing is towards her Uncle.

11 I will walk around with her Uncle, going out to his farm and stay overnight in his village;

12 it is blossoming/smadar season, for me to give things to her Uncle, I will shoulder it by fleeing to my vineyard, to see if the vine has blossomed and if pomegranate has opened up.

13 so that I can give to the Uncle, a new thing instead of an old thing, a hidden beloving-substance/mandrake (an aphrodisiac plant) with its scent which can tower up/amplify even from the gate.
