Hebrew chapter 8

Heb 8

The new priestly-service

1 Moreover, the main point/summary  upon things said is that, we have a High Priest, of such grandeur/greatness, Who settles down in the Right hand of the Throne in heaven;

2 A Minister in the Sanctuary and a true tabernacle, which the Supreme God, has pitched (set up), and not human-being. 

3 for all high priests, are ordained unto offering up gifts and animal-sacrifices; so, from there on, it is necessary for these persons to have something to offer.

4 therefore, if it were indeed upon earth, He would not even possibly had been a priest, that will be presenting gifts according to (Moses) law. (Ex 25:40). 

5 some of who minister/serve, as Moses was about to further complete the tabarnacle, just as he was divinely instructed, to be an example of the heavenly one; for, HIS thought was made known: make all things shown to you according to the pattern of the shadows you discerned on the mountain.

6 but, now for emphasy, as much as, a law is enacted/legislated upon a promise, which is different/excellent and of a better public function/liturgy, obtained even by a Mediator of a better Covenant. 

A New-age covenant 

7 for if that first one had been faultless, there would be no place to possibly seek the SECOND.

8 because, having found fault in it, it is said, behold, a day is coming, says the Supreme God, I will fully execute a NEW AGE COVENANT upon the house of Israel, and upon the house of Judah;

9 not according to the covenant which was made with their fathers, in the days I took hold of their hands to help, by leading them out of the land of Egypt. But, because they neglected/despise MY covenant; even I did not tarry among them, says the Supreme God.

10 because, this is the covenant which will be made available to the house of Israel, amid those days, says the Supreme God, I will give them MY law, I will inscribe it upon their hearts, and into their deep thought (dianoian); and I will be God unto them, and they will be people unto ME.

11 And each person will not be teaching his fellow citizens and each person will not be saying to his brother, know the Supreme God; for everybody will be aware of ME, from the least up to the greatest of them.

12 For I will be propitious (hileos) to their wrong-doings, and will not remember their sins further more. (Jer 31:31-34)

13 and in New-Age, it will be said, the first has become obsolete; having become worn out and waxed old, and its disappearance is near.
