Mathew Chapter 2

Matthew 2

Magician/stargazers from the East came after some months from his birth:

1 Moreover, Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in King Herod's days. And, behold, Magicians (oriental scientists) from the East arrived into Jerusalem.

2 and they asked; where is the King of the Jews that was born? No doubt, we saw His star in the East, and we have come to worship Him.

3 And as king Herod heard it, he was agitated, and everyone within Jerusalem.

4 and he gathered the chief-priests, the scribes/secretaries and all the people together, to enquire from them where Christ/Messiah is to be born.

5 and they told him everything: in Bethlehem of Judea; because, it was written likewise through a Prophet (Micah):

6 and, Bethlehem (house of bread), in the land of Judah, you are by no means, the least in Judah, because out from you shall proceed forth, a Governor who will shepherd Isreal and govern/lead my people with official authority (Ref: Micah 5:2)

7 then Herod, secretly calls the Magi, to ascertain from them, the time the star appeared.

8 and he sent them into Bethlehem, saying, depart, search accurately about the child; whenever you find Him, report to me, and I, will come anyhow to worship Him.

9 Moreover, having heard the king; they departed, and behold, the star which they saw in the east, go before them, until it comes, to stand over where the child has been.

10 the mega part is that, as they are aware from the star, they rejoice with exceeding joy.

11 and they come into the house, and behold, the child was with Mary his mother. They fell down, worship Him; and open up their treasures to present offerings unto Him: gold and frankincense and myrrh.

12 and having been divinely intimated by dream, never to return to Herod, they withdraw into their region through another way.

Escape of Joseph and the Child to Egypt:

13 Moreover, having left them, behold, the Angel of the Supreme God appeared in a dream to Joseph, saying, arise, bring the Child and His mother close and escape into Egypt (land of Nile), and be there until I will possibly tell you; because Herod is about to seek for the Child, to fully destroy Him.

14 So, he arose and bring the Child and His mother close by night, and left unto Egypt.

15 and they were there, until the death of Herod; at least to fulfill what has been spoken under the Holy Spirit through the Prophet, saying, I call forth My Son, out of Egypt. (Hosea 11:1)

Herod Killed innocent boys

16 At this time, Herod, was aware that he has been mocked by the Magicians, and he was greatly enraged, and sent, to slay all boys, in Bethlehem and in all its boundary line, even from two years old downwards, according to the space of time (chronos) ascertained from the Magicians.

17 then, what was spoken through prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled, saying;

18 a voice of weeping and great mourning was heard in Ramah, Rachel wailing for her children (technon) and choose not to be comforted, because they were no more. (Ref: Jer 31:15):

JESUS is a Nazarene

19 Moreover, Herod died, and behold, the Angel of the SUPREME God, appeared to Joseph in a dream in Egypt,

20 saying, arise, take the Child and His mother near and journey into the land of Israel; because those seeking the Soul of the Child are dead.

21 So, he arose, and take the Child and His mother close, and come into the land of Israel.

22 but, having heard that Archelaus (people's ruler) reigns in Judea, in place of his father Herod, he was afraid of going there; so, being divinely intimated in a dream, he withdrew to a section of Galilee:

23 and he was called forth to go and  reside in a town called Nazareth; in a way to fulfill what was spoken through a prophet, that "He shall be a Nazarene." (Amos 2:11)
