Introduction
This book is known as the Gospel of Jesus, to Apostle Matthew. He was a Levite that became a tax collector but eventually called by Jesus Christ to become an Apostle. The Gospel of Matthew was written in the early period of the church, probably in A.D. 55-65. This was a time when most Christians were Jewish converts, so Matthew focus on Jewish perspective of Christianity. Of much interest is the semon on the mountain and the review of Moses' law with respect to the inadequacies and the abuse of the law by its practitioners. In summary, the revelations of the actual mind of God for the new-age under Jesus christ was here documented by Apostle Mathew.
Chapter 1
The genealogy of Jesus Christ through the line of Joseph
The book of genealogy/gene-sis of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the son of Abraham.
Abraham begot Isaac; Isaac also begot Jacob; Jacob also begot Judah and his brothers;
Moreover, Judah begot Pharez and Zerah through Tamar (his concubine); Pharez also begot Ezron; (H)Ezron also begot Aram;
Aram also begot Aminadab; Aminadab also begot Naasson; and Naasson begot Salmon;
Salmon also begot Boaz through Rachab (a Canaanitess); Boaz also begot Obed through Ruth (a Moabitess); Obed also begot Jesse;
Moreover, Jesse begot king-David; and David begot Solomon through Uriah's wife;
Solomon also begot Rehoboam; and Rehoboam begot AbiJah; and AbiJah begot Asa(ph);
Asa also begot Jehoshaphat; and Jehoshaphat begot Joram; Joram also begot Uzziah;
Uzziah also begot Jotham; and Jotham begot Ahaz; and Ahaz( Achaz) begot Hezekiah;
Hezekiah (strengthen of Jah) also begot Manasse; and Manasse begot Amon(s); Amon also begat Josiah; [cf: 1Chro 3:14]
Josiah also begot Jechoniah and his brothers, upon, deportation/relocation to Babylon.
however, amid the deportation to Babylon, Jechoniah begot Shealtiel; and Shealtiel begot ZerubBabel (child born in Babel);
And ZerubBabel begot Abihud; Abihud also begot Eliakim; and Eliakim begot Azur;
Azzur (helpful) also begot Zadok (Tsadeek-the righteous); and Zadok begot (Joi)Achim; and (Joia)Achim also begot Elihu;
Eliud also begot Eleazar; and Eleazar begot Mattan; and Mattan begot Jacob;
Jacob also begot Joseph, the husband of Mary, out of whom JESUS, who is called Christ (Messiach) was born.
therefore, all the generations, away from Abraham up to David are fourteen generations; and from David up to deportation to Babylon are fourteen generations; and from deportation to Babylon, up to Christ, are fourteen generations. (including me)
Virgin Mary born Jesus:
However, the birth of Jesus Christ is in this way. No doubt, Mary His mother has been betrothed to Joseph, but before cohabiting/coming together of them, she was found having a Child in her womb from The HOLY SPIRIT.
And, Joseph, her husband, being a righteous person, who choose not to make her a public example, was willing to secretly dismiss/divorce her.
However, as he ponders on this thing, behold, an Angel of the SUPREME God appeared to him in a DREAM, and said, Joseph, son of David, never fear to bring Mary your wife near to yourself; because, The ONE to be born in her, is from the Holy SPIRIT.
So, she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His Name Jesus (Jehoshua); for He will save His people from their sins.
but, these happened, at least to fulfill all that was spoken under the SUPREME God, through a Prophet (Isaiah), saying,
behold, a virgin/maiden will have a child in her womb, and bear a Son; and he called Him by name (im-manu)-ELa which is translated (correctly from Isaiah 7:14), A Mighty-Leader with us.
So, Joseph wake up from sleep, and did as the Angel of the Supreme God commanded him to bring his wife near to himself:
And, he did not know/have carnal knowledge of her, until she brings forth the SON; and she calls His Name JESUS (Jehoshua).
