Mathew 12

The truth about Jewish sabbath: a REST is established for man and he is to manage it for his own good and not to be forced or killed for it. 

1 At a time, that Jesus was on a journey through a grain-farm on a Sabbath day; His disciples also were hungry, and they begin to pluck the head of grain, and eat.

2 however, the Pharisees, see it, and tell Him; behold, your disciples are doing that which is not lawful to be done on Sabbath day. 

3 So, He tells them, have you not read of what David and those with him did, when they were hungry?

4 How he entered into the house of God, and ate loaves of show-bread in the temple, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, except only the Priests? (1Sam 21: 3-6)

5 Or have you not read in the Law that, on the Sabbath, the priests in the temple desecrate the Sabbath, and were guiltless? (2Chron 30:18, 29:34, John 7:22)

6 So, I tell you, it is a temple because the Greatest (meizon) ONE is there. 

7 however, if you had known what this is; "Tender mercy HE desire and not animals-sacrifice" (Ref: Hos 6:6); you would not have possibly condemned the guiltless.

8  because, the Sabbath day of the Supreme God is for the Sons of Adam. 

Manage your rest yourself and do good things everyday.

9 And having departed from there, He went into their synagogue.

10 And behold, there is a man who has a withered hand. And they ask Him, at least to accuse Him, by asking, if it is lawful/right to minister healing (therapeusai) on the Sabbath day?

11 So, He tells them, who is that man out of  you, who has one sheep, and in case this one falls down into a ditch on a Sabbath day, and will not hold it fast and raise it up?

12 therefore, how much more is a man surpasses a sheep? Thus, it is right/lawful on the Sabbath-day to do well/good things.

13 Then, He tells the man, stretch out your hand. And he stretches it, and it is restored again, as healthy as the other.

14 So, He proceeded forth, and the Pharisees take counsel against Him, how to fully-destroy Him.

Jesus is mission-driven, so He prefers doing good humbly and never stop healing. 

15 However, Jesus knows. And He withdraws from there, and very many crowd follow Him, and He ministers healing to them all.

16 and they rebuke Him, at least, never to do it openly. 

17 but, to at least fulfill the utterances through the prophet Isaiah, who says, 

18 Behold, My Servant, whom I choose, My Beloved, in whom My Soul is well pleased. I will put MY Spirit upon Him, even to declare judgment on the heathen-nations.

19 He will not strive, not even cry out, neither will anyone hear His voice in the streets, 

20 stick will not be broken and smoky-wick will not be quenched, until they are cast out by judgment and be possibly crushed unto conquest/victory.

21 And, the heathen-nation will hope in His Name . (Ref: Isa 42:1-4)

Where some appreciate the miracles, the Pharisees blaspheme the spirit behind it (Mathew 9:32) 

22 Then, they bring to Him, a blind, deaf and demon possessed person, and He minister healing to him, thus, the mute speak and see.

23 And all the crowd were amazed, is this not the Son of David?

24 And the Pharisees heard and say, this man could not cast out demons, if not by beelzebub (deity of Ekronite), the ruler of demons.

25 however, He was aware of their deliberation and told them, all kingdoms which divide against itself will be brought to nought, and all cities or households which divide against itself will not stand.

26 if the one of satan's cast out one of satan's, then, its kingdom has divided upon itself. So, how will it stand?

27 So, if the Son cast out demons by beelzebub, by whom did your Judges cast it out? by this reason, we are the same to you.

Kingdom of God/Heaven arrives instantly upon you on earth immediately you believe in Jesus Christ

28 But, if, to you, I have cast out demons by the SPIRIT of God, ARA (a deep heartfelt joy lifted to heaven) then, the kingdom of God has arrived beforehand upon you.

29 Or, how is it ever possible for anyone to enter into the house of a strong man and plunder his equipments? Except he first of all, bind the strong-man, and then catch away (harpazo), his households.

Sins against Spirits is punishable: never deliberately hurt spirit of anyone 

30 the one who is not with Me is against Me; and those who convene together with Me will never be scattered.

31 on this account, I tell you, all sins and blasphemy to men will be forgiven/let go; but blasphemy/villification to Spirits will not be forgiven.

32 and whoever in case, speak words against the son of Adam, could be forgiven for it. But whoever  possibly speak against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age nor in the one about to come.

33 and, it is either a virtuous tree will produce its virtuous fruit, or a corrupt tree will produce its corrupted fruit. no doubt, a tree will be known, from its fruits.

34 how can you preach good things, being offsprings who are of the evil of the poisonous serpent from birth? Because, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth will preach.

35 A good man, out of the good treasure/deposit [of his heart] will throw out good things (agatha), and a vicious man, out of the vicious treasure will throw out vicious things.

36 But, I tell you, that words that an idle man preaches, concerning every rhema/utterances; will be recompensed to him on judgment day.

37 No doubt, from your words, you will be justified, and from your words, you will be condemned.

the Pharisees and Scribes demand for irrational sign after despising the Miracles  

38 Then, some of the Scribes and Pharisees answered Him, saying, Teacher, we desire a sign to be seen from You.

39 So He answered and tells them, generation of a vicious and adulterous one, seeking for a sign, and a sign will not be given to you, except the sign of Prophet Jonah.

40 no doubt, just exactly as Jonah was in the belly of whale/sea-monster, for three days and three nights; likewise a HEART, shall be in the earth, for the sons of Adam, for three days and three nights

41 the men of Nineveh will stand up in judgment amid this generation, and will condemn it; for they repented unto the preaching of Jonah; and behold, the One, more excellent than Jonah is here.

42 the Queen from the south will rise up in judgment amid this generation, and will condemn it; for coming from the uttermost end of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold the One, more excellent than Solomon is here.

The Need to be filled with the HOLY SPIRIT always 

43 Moreover, whenever an unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it travels through dry (waterless) places, seeking recreation/rest, and may not find one;

44 then, It will say, it will revert to its house, from where it went out. And it will come and find out, it is vacant, swept, and decorated,

45 then, it will go and take with itself, seven different other spirits more vicious than itself, and enter to dwell there; and the latter end of that man will become worse than at first. Thus, will it be, even to this evil generation. 

To believe Jesus is the savior is the desire of God the FATHER for everybody, including Mary His mother. 

46 As He is still preaching to the crowd, behold, His mother and brothers stand outside, seeking to talk to Him.

47 So, someone tells Him, behold, Your mother and Your brethren are standing outside, seeking to talk to you.

48 But, having told Him, He answers, and tell them, who is My mother? And who are My brethren?

49 and having stretched out His hand upon His disciples, He says, see My mother and My brethren.

50 Because, whoever possibly does the desire of My FATHER in heaven, the same are My brothers, and sisters and mother.
