Solomon Chapter 3

Solomon 3

The lady continues....

1 I will seek after a Soul that I love, even I will seek from my bed to find him in the night.

2 I will rise up, to seek for the Soul I love, I will find him in the wide-street/avenue all around  the city, even I will seek him in the market streets.

3 Will the keeper all around the city, find and see the Soul I love?

4 even though It will weaken me, in a little while, I will found the Soul I love, I will go and cross over to the house of his mother, even into the chamber/apartment of the one who was pregnant of/conceived him, and there I will grab/catch him.

The second time of sending a challenge to her opponents

5 As doe/female-deer or male-deer would stir up affection/love in the field. Oh oh! You daughters of Jerusalem, seven it/sware to your wish, and be awake, at least, if you are willing/so desired.

What she know about the glory of the king/her bridegroom, against the rumors

6 can smoke from burners of myrrh and white-frankincense-powder, ascend/mount up to a date-palm's fronds in the desert. So, why the rumors/gossip?

7 that - sixty warriors/powerful men stretched out round about for Solomon's political administration, even out of the warriors/powerful men of Israel; -

8 that - they are trained for battle, even to seize with swords, and each man with his sword on his hip/thigh, because of sudden alarms in the night-time;

9 that - canopy of King Solomon is constructed with timber of Lebanon,

10 that - its pillars are made of silver, and its lining-base are of gold. That the saddles/carriages (on his chariots) are of crimson, tesselated/patterned in sequence from the center. With LOVE, the daughters of Jerusalem -

11 - should have gone out and see the Crown on the King Solomon and her mother and the daughters of Zion, on the day the bride-groom was crowned even a day of joy from her heart.

Solomon Chapter 4

Solomon 4

The words of king Solomon; the man in Love, appreciating the beauty of the girls' guild of the bride, her sister and her uncle.

1 Your girls'-guild are beautiful because of the braids/locks of their hairs, and with their beautiful dove's eyes. They are like flock of she-goats surfing/sliding down on mountain in Gilead, -

2 - they match/suit a flock that  ascend from  bathing place, who will chop anyone with mind of bereavement  by their teeth.

3 just the (thinness of) threads of their braids/locks only, is pleasant/eagerly craved at, and second is their lips like slice/piece of pomegranate from the desert.

4 their nape/necks is like edge of hill to a sign(board) on the tower (magdala) built for hanging  thousands of bucklers/shields of warriors of David.

5 their two breasts are like two twins female-deers being fed within white-lilies that are like dusts.

6 as they walk along the mountains, they can flee to the shadows of the hills which fan breeze on their myrrh and the frankincense all day.

7 Even the defects/stains on these girls' guild are beautiful.

8 My Bride comes from Lebanon, the mountains of Lebanon and the head of mount Shenir even the head of mount Hermon (in Palestine - Deut 3:9), and Abana/Amana (river/mount in Damascus) is there as a wall/border to shield from afflictions from lions and leopards.

9 the sisters of my bride are enclosed with fat, with so huge enclosed-fat altogether, and all eyes are on  their nape/back of their neck.

10 what a beautiful wine from her Uncle! What an aromantic spices/balsam from her Uncle and a well-made perfumed-oil by sisters of my bride!

11 the scent of the lips of my Bride, even her scent is like honey and milk, dripping down in subdistrict of Lebanon and her tongue/language make me whole/peaceful.

12 there are springs, locked up in the garden, for my Bride's Sisters. They are locked up with a sealed heap of stones.

13 the pomegranate, fruits and spike-nard from their orchard/park are things sent out to tower up/magnify the village.

14 their chief-men/head erect/acquire multiple-tents for their aromatic-spikenard, crocus/saffron, cinnamon barks, frankincense, myrrh and the spices/balsam.

15 from the fountain in their garden, water flow down to the pits for the living creatures in Lebanon;

16 I will awake and come from the southern region to the north, to a  garden, where towered-up spices are dripping down and even, to come to be fanned with the breeze in the garden of her Uncle, and eat from his fruits.

Solomon Chapter 5

Solomon 5

Solomon continues... (he seems to be hallucinating about her bride's uncle)

1 I will go to the garden of my Bride's Sister, and to be laid visible, are the myrrh and the balsam plants (spices), and to eat honey from the forest and drink milk, as associates/friends will eat and drink till intoxicated with wine of her Uncle.

2 Though asleep, I am awakened by the voice of her Uncle which is like knocking my heart with a blunt-fragment/sherd. I am to open to my pious Dove, her sisters and her girl's guild. Their head must have been replenished/filled with dew of the night.

3 I have put off  my shirt, how would I put it on? I have bathed, how could my feet be soiled.

4 the hand of her Uncle is by the (door)cavity/hole, so, a loud sound was sent out from my bowel,

5 and I rise up to open the (door)bolt for the Uncle to pass, as myrrh dripped/oozed in his palm, even the myrrh in the fingers of his hand,

6 as I open it for her Uncle to pass, he has withdrawn/become elusive. What an Uncle! I called out, if anyone will answer. I go forth to seek after a soul, if anyone would speak/rehearse to have found him.

7 those who watch all round the city, and the guards on the wall, should find him if he is wounded. They should lift up the spread-sheets/thin sheet of metal, if anyone has smitten him.

The king also suspect atrocity from his bride's rivals and highlight the qualities of the Uncle to them.

8 swear to me, oh you daughter of Jerusalem, if you find her Uncle, boldly declare to me, for I am sick because of love.

9 Where is her Uncle, because this Uncle is handsome even to women? So, you should swear on oath in this case of her Uncle, even this very Uncle.

10 her Uncle is a ruddy person, like a fresh/bright flag among ten thousands,

11 the curly hair/tress of his head is as black raven, a golden stain/spot within blunt fragments/splinters.

12 and his eyes is as that of doves. I would be sitting down by his fullness of milk and bath in his channel of water.

13 As I pass across Magdala (tower, near Galilee sea), my cheek and lips are yearning/longing for his spicy-herbs mixture and, things oozing out of his myrrh and spices/balsam and lilies.

14 I become languid/lost vitality in gold and ivory and sapphire, finished/done in Tarshish, and even in replenishing  my hands with grains/kernels from Galilee (southern Lebanon);

15 the market of Lebanon are of cedar-trees, its pillars are set/founded on the basis of chosen golden materials and the view/appearance is like fine bleached marble.

16 this will be as sweet to the palate of my mouth. This Uncle is a delightful/lovely friend, oh you daughters of Jerusalem.
