Ps 55
Eminent instructive instrumental music, by David
(A poem for leaders to lead well)
At all stations of elohim, give ears - to supplication (tephillah) from those in hidden places;
you should hearken to their complaints and - when they tramp about restlessly making noise, you should answer them; -
-when their enemies exert themselves to oppose them in anger; your voice should be unshaken in the face of the oppression of the wicked;
- when the terror of the place of death whirl them inside and their hearts fall;
- when they are affrighted and trembled, go to cover up their fear.
- when they say, oh, that they were given organ like a pigeon/dove! They would have flied to where they will permanently dwell;
- or they would have wandered and be put far away to lodge overnight in the wilderness: Pause;
when their senses/faculty of perception for escape should have been to travel/drive upon whirlwind by THE SPIRIT.
when the (first) Adonay was done away with, and their tongue/language was divided/split (peleg), and they saw the contention and the violence in their city; (Gen 11:9)
they were exerting themselves revolving round the wall, even in the midst of the night, with weariness/toiling daily.
there exist deceit within them and 'it does not depart' in the midst of their street:
and they are lifting up the enemies who use them wrongfully and hate the ONE they magnify in hidden/secret place.
I know that, even if a thousand champions are arranged, they are for mortal-men.
Elohim are to be walking around the houses and their secret/close deliberation should stir up sweet emotions/feelings all together;
for all the living are as sojourners in the midst of wilderness, because of the evil of going down into sheol/hades, (having been seduced into a place of death).
all Elohim should call out to Jehovah to save us;
from evening till morning, and at noon/midday, converse, and make a loud sound, even a voice to be heard, -
- (i) for abundant prosperous peace from battles/hostile encounters and for all souls to be redeemed.
- (ii) for the main-Leader (el), who will fear HIM, and will sit down to listen attentively to us, and answer us, in alternation/one after the other, as of the ancient time; Pause.
- (iii) to send forth HiS HAND, to 'give a space' for a covenant of prosperous peace.
if it is something like a good-compliment from your mouth, like spoken words that will be gentle on/soften the hearts, like being opened (minded) in sharing/dividing the oil from your battles-
something like giving things granted by Jehovah to sustain the Righteous; you will be unshakened for anyone to cast out to eternity.
however, all Elohim, trusted by mortal men but who are deceitful, will descend into the pit (of corruption) in their well/pool of blood because their days shall be halved.
