Psalm Chapter 106

Ps 106

1 Praise unto Jahh (halal u Yah). it is a good thing to hold out hands to thank Jehovah - for HIS kindness is unto eternity:

2 who can narrate the heroism/gallantry of Jehovah? Who will listen to HIS laudation?

3 happy is he who preserve HIS verdicts on righteousness, and obey them all the time:

4 Remember the delight of Jehovah to visit His people, upon their salvation - 

5 it is a good thing to see the chosen ones, rejoicing in their inheritance, praising HIM with joy among the heathen-nations:

6 our fathers sinned, and were condemned for being perverted:

7 - if they acted intelligently, they would have remembered the abundance of HIS wonders in Egypt was by HIS kindness, however, our fathers made HIM bitter at the sea, even at the Reed-sea:

8 He saved them and the heroism of HIS NAME is known:

9 HE rebuked the reed-sea to dry up, and they walked through its abyss/depth, in the wilderness;

10 HE saved them by HIS Hand and redeemed them by HIS Hand from their enemies that hate them:

11 then, waters covered up the remaining one in the tight place, - 

12 they believes HIS spoken words - and travel singing song of laudation (tehillah) :

13 they hurriedly mislay HIS actions and waiting upon HIS counsel. 

14 they coveted their own longings in the wilderness, and tempted their main-Leader (el) in Jeshimon (solitary place):

15 they were sent out slim/lean however, the petitions of their souls were granted. 

16 Moses and Aaron were envied because of the Holy of Holies of Jehovah in the camp:

17 Dathan, Abiram were done away with because the earth opened up and fixtures of people were covered up in it.

18 even when a fixture of people kindled fire, the flame blaze on those wicked ones.

19 they made cast-image of male-calf in mount Horeb (in Sinai), and worshipped it. 

20 they exchanged the resemblance of HIS glory for that of ox that eat green-grass: 

21 they mislaid their main-Leader (el) who saved them and did very-great things in Egypt:

22 the wonders in the land of Ham and at the reed-sea that are to be revered;

23 it is said, if not for Moses, HIS chosen one, who stood in the gap/for the breach in HIS presence to turn-back HIS fury, to exterminate them, they would have been ruined.

24 they detested HIS spoken-words concerning the land, which is something desirable to believe;

25 they still grumbled in their tent, having heard the voice of Jehovah:

26 having lifted up HIS Hand was lifted up, they still fall down in the desert:

27 moreover, the offsprings of those that fell down were sown/scattered around among the land of the heathen-nations:

28 and thereby linked/joined with Baal of Peor (moab deity) and eat from their slaughtered-sacrifices and died:

29 HE was upset by their actions, and plagues broke out:

30 Phinehas stood up and judge it, to hold back the plagues - 

31 - and righteouness was computed/plaited to him from generation to generation as far as eternity:

32 they were displeased because of water at Meribah and Moses was provoked/burst out in rage: 

33 they made the SPIRIT bitter, by things they articulated with their lips;

34 it is said, those people were exterminated by Jehovah.

35 but they mixed/intermix with heathen nations, and learned their activities:

36 in serving idols, which were snares unto them;

37 in slaughtering sons and daughters to demons (shed) as sacrifice;

38 in sheding innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and daughters, as sacrifice to idols of Cannan which polluted the land with blood:

39 they were defiled in their activities, and in their deeds of committing adultery;

40 our people loathed their inheritance and kindled the anger of Jehovah, 

41 they are given into the hands of heathen nations - who hated and ruled over them:

42 the enemies subdued them and they were oppressed in their hands:

43 at one time, they were delivered by HIS counsel, but "from those" abundant perversities they made HIM bitter (marah)

44 HE has seen them in their tight place, but to hear their shout of joy;

45 HE remembered HIS covenants, and pity them by HIS abundant kindness;

46 HE gave them compassion in the face of those that carried them captives:

47 Jehovah of all Elohim will save and gathered them from heathen-nations to hold out hands in thanksgiving to HIS Name in Holy place and commend HIM in a loud tone with laudation: 

48 Jehovah of all Elohim will bless IsraEl from eternity to eternity, Praise unto Jahh, and let the people say Amen.  (ref: Ps 41:13)
