Psalm Chapter 124

Ps 124

Song in steps/unto climax by David.

1 let IsraEl says, if not for Jehovah;

2 if not for Jehovah that has risen up concerning things from Adam;

3 by this time, all the living would have been swallowed up under a kindled anger:

4 by this time, our souls would have passed away, when the waters inundated our estate,

5 by this time, our souls would have passed away under waters because of our deliberate wrong-doings;

6 Bless Jehovah, WHO gave our teeth, fresh meat:

7 our souls escape from laid-snare, like when a snare burst and a bird escape from the snare.

8 Our help is in the Name, Jehovah, WHO made the heaven and the earth.
