Ps 80

Eminent poem set to music by Asaph upon the lily and the testimony

1 The Cherubim who sit down over IsraEl are beautiful/shining forth on Joseph as he hearkened to drive-forth flock and care/shepherd them.

2 even the faces of Ephraim and Manasseh are awaken as they walked around Benjamin with gallantry unto our salvation;

3 for our Leaders (elohim) to save and restore us, their faces have to be shining/lightened;

4 why is the intercession of the Elohim for their people is smoky/is smoking to Jehovah of (heavenly) army?

5 the captain (of third rank) eat food out from their weeping, - and quaff his thirst out of their tears.

6 fellow-citizens put up strife with them and their enemies deride them:

7 when our Leaders (Elohim) save and restore; the faces of the masses will shine/be lightened.

8 they should start a journey to drive out the heathen-nation and plant vines as in Egypt.

9 just as roots replenish, they should turn their faces to be rooted deep on earth;

10 the main-Leader (el) should be a shade that cover us up like twigs/branches of cedar-trees on mountains;

11 which their young trees/growing trees will be sent away through rivers and their harvested things, over the sea. 

12 to shed more light on a thing, you will have to break forth through borders/fence and cross over roads;

13 even pigs/swine are being fed/tended, while a conspicuous big farm is laid waste in the forest.

14 all Elohim like the One from Heaven that will restore the masses are those that can visit the vines to see things that have sprouted out;

15 and for the Son from the Right Hand, He will be courageous/strengthened to acquire things planted;

16 just like things pruned/cut down are burnt with fire; so shall the rebuke from His presence to those who wander away;

17 just like a man with a HAND from the Right Hand, sons of Adam should be courageous;

18 even though some are backwards types, we will call out to HIS Name and live;

19 in Jehovah; our Leaders (elohim) and we, the masses, will be saved and be restored, so that our faces shall shine/be lit up.
