Psalm Chapter 75

Ps 75

Eminent song set to notes by Asaph; music on "don't destroy things"

1 Hold out hands in thanksgiving, even all the nearby Elohim; hold out hands in worship, to HIS Name and reckon HIS wonders:

2 as you receive appointment, judge others with uprightness/equity.

3 those who have softened/dissolved a pillar on earth, have sat down to design it/mentally estimate how. Pause:

4 it is said; wicked person is being praised because those who exalt his horn will also be praised.

5 by the things copied out and rehearsed about those in elevated places, their horns were exalted as though on napes/back of the neck.

6 from their exit/going forth, westwards, through the mountains in the desert, they were exalted.

7 the lowly/humiliated ones will judge those leaders, who had been exalted,

8 for, there is a cup of wine, with a muddy/daubed covering, THIS has been kept and shall be poured out by the Hand of Jehovah, to be drunk, and even be squeezed out in full, to the wicked ones on the earth:

9 boldly declare it to all leaders (elohe) of Jacob, who will be playing stringed musical instruments in worship to eternity;

10 that the horns of the Righteous will be exalted, but the horns of the wicked will be cut down.
