Psalm 90

Book 4 (Ps 90-106; 90 and 91 are by Moses, and the rest are mostly untitled but likely to be by David)

Ps 90

Intersession of Moses (rescued/drawn from water) with his fellow leaders (elohim) among men

If Adonay (emphatic name of Eden lord), had been in his dwelling place from generation to generations;

and as long as the earth rotate/revolve (whirl), the main-human-leader (el) would have born children in the habitable part of the world that would have been from eternity to eternity like mountains.

it is said, I will restore mortal-men who has been crushed/suppressed, even the sons of Adam shall be restored:

A THOUSAND year in HIS EYES is as a DAY and like yesterday, it will cross over like a night watch.

it was like during (disliked) years, when there was flooding - but things changed, and at dawn/at the beginning of a day, there were green grasses again.

still at dawn/at the beginning of (another) day, they flourished, but things changed again, in the evening, they are cut short, and they dried up:

we are panicking, let this displeasure in YOUR anger come to an end:

perversity has placed us where our faces are veiled/hid from the luminous bodies/sources of light;

we turn to YOU, and utter/pronounce it this day, let the years of crossing over this boundary, come to an end.

as for me, my years fled away quickly like days, and I was still exerting myself on a chunk of things with pride at seventy years. However, my gallantry/heroism from eighty years has been with hard labor/toiling.

Had I known that crossing over this boundary shall be with HIS great-strength, HIS fear and HIS anger?

days would have been allocated that we would have come to know the things of HIS wisdom in our inner-hearts.

when will Jehovah show pity to HIS servant and restore us?

satiate us with YOUR kindness at the braking of a day - and we will shout for joy and rejoice all that day:

if you answer us, we will rejoice over the evil days and years, we have seen.

and our sons will see, the magnificence of YOUR deeds through your servant:

just like the pleasantness of the activities of the hand of Adonay, would have prepared the hands of leaders (elohim), for actions that will establish them.
