Ps 85

Eminent poem set to music by the sons of korah: (Num 16:5)

1 Be pleased with us Jehovah, in the land/on earth, - and restore the exiled ones of Jacob to their land:

2 covered up our habitual sins, because our people had lifted up iniquities, Pause:

3 they have gathered together for transgressions, and YOUR fierceness and anger has returned.

4 Restore YOUR all round salvation to our leaders (elohim) and break/disannul the vexation. 

5 will YOU be enraged to eternity? Will YOUR anger be prolonged from generations to generations?

6 restore our people, and we shall live and rejoice. 

7 in the kindness of Jehovah, we will see the all-round salvation which HE will give.

8 the main-Leader (el) who is of Jehovah will listen to what HE will rehearse, and HE will rehearse things of prosperous-peace to HIS people and restore confidence to the Pious ones:

9 all-round salvation is near to the Reverent ones who will dwell on earth for HIS glory. 

10 for by HIS kindness, they will encounter the truth on Justification, which will equip them with weapons for prosperous-peace:

11 HE will peep/look down from heaven, as the truth of Justification sprouts/grows up on earth:

12 Jehovah will give us good things, because the land/earth will give us its increase/produce:

13 and we shall be walking in HIS presence at once, for we shall be set on HIS way of Justification.
