Psalm Chapter 81

Ps 81

Eminent for Gittite harp (harp from Gath in palestine), by Asaph.

let all elohim shout for joy for HIS great strength. Let all eloheem in Jacob shout with alarm.

Give a musical piece/psalm, lift up tambourine, and pleasant sound of harp and stringed skin-bag instruments:

with trumpets sounded, at new-moon and as days are fully covered for the solemn feasts; -

- according to the decree/statute in Israel, and verdicts to eloheem in Jacob.

we know of the testimony/evidence about Jehoseph, when he was put in the land of Egypt and he listened to what goes out of the lips of some;

we turned away from where there was burden/load on our shoulders and cross over to where there are pots on our palms:

as they were proved/tried at the water of Meribah, they called out from the secret place, HE answered with thunder and delivered them from trouble. Pause: (Ex 17:7)

let the people hear as I testify, and let Israel listens;

our main-Leader (el) as a stranger prostrated to the main-leader (el) of heathendom:

by Jehovah, the mouth of our Elohim are broadened and having replenished in the land of Egypt, they ascended/go up;

the people of Israel were willing when they heard HIS voice:

they were sent out according to the council but they were walking along with arbitrariness/sturbbonness in their hearts.

oh I wish that our people had listened and Israel had walked in HIS way!

enemies humiliated them in a tight place and in a little while HIS Hands restored them.

Jehovah hates those who deny/disown HIM, at this time to eternity

we ate wheat and honey and we are satiated with fat-cream under sharp rocks.
