Song in steps/degrees (thoughts rising up)

1 We have been put in strait so much from our youth, says, Israel:

2 We have been put in strait from our youth, - yet, we are still so much able:

3 We have been devising in silence and it is long that we have been devising in silence on what will be our response/reaction to this:

4 but so thick has been the wicked on the Righteous, that Jehovah has to cut/trim it off.

5 those who hate Zion are the backward types and they will be put to shame, 

6 they will dry up, just like green grass upon a roof, when pull out from advancing:

7 our palms will be replenished with measures of grains (omer), if we are bold/outspoken to curtail/cut then short.

8 say the benediction (berakah) of Jehovah upon those that cross over and they shall be blessed in the Name of Jehovah.
