John 4
JESUS delivers a message of acceptable-worship to the INVISIBLE SPIRIT-God in Samaria:
1. Therefore, as Jesus knows, that the Pharisees have heard, that Jesus makes more disciples/students and baptizes than John;
2. - Even though Jesus Himself did not baptize (with water) but His disciples (did),
3. HE left Judea, and go away again unto Galilee.
4. But, He must travels through Samaria.
5 then, having come into a town of Samaria, called Sychar (Shekar) near a plot of ground which Jacob gave to his son, Joseph.
6. And, Jacob's well-water was there. Then, Jesus, being TIRED from the journey, likewise sat down upon the well-water. And it was about the sixth hour (12pm).
7. So, a woman comes out of Samaria to draw out water. And Jesus asks her, give Me (water) to drink.
8. For, His disciples have gone away into the city, at least, to buy food;
9. Then, the woman of Samaria tells Him, how will you, being a Jew, asks to drink from me, being a woman of Samaria? For the Jews do not deal together with Samaritans.
10. Jesus answers and tells her, if you are aware of the Gift of God, and Who is asking you, give Me (water) to drink, you possibly would have asked Him, and He would have possibly given you a Living-water.
11. the woman tells the Lord, you do not even have drawing equipment for it, and the well-water is deep; then, from where will You have the Living water?
12. Are You our great father, Jacob, who gave us the well-water, and he, his sons and livestocks drank from it? No
13. Jesus answers and tells her, everyone who drink from this water, will thirst again;
14. But, whoever possibly drink from the water which I will give him, will never thirst, unto ages. On the contrary, the water, which I will give him, will gush out and become a fountain of water unto Eternal Life in him.
15. The woman says towards the Lord, give me of that one, at least, (I will) never thirst, and will not come here to draw out water.
16. He tells her, go away and call your husband, and come here.
17. The woman answers and says to Him, I do not have a husband. Jesus says to her, it is well spoken, that you do not have a husband;
18. For you have had five husbands, and now, whom you have, is not your husband; you have truly spoken this.
19. The woman tells the Lord, I see that you are a Prophet.
20. Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, and you say that, the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.
21 Jesus says to her, woman, have Faith in me. The hour has come, when you will neither worship the FATHER on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem.
22. You are worshipping whom you are not aware of; we worship whom we are aware of; for, salvation is from the Jews.
23. The hour is coming and on the contrary, it is Now, when the truthful worshippers will worship the FATHER in the SPIRIT and Truth; because, even the FATHER seeks such to worship HIM.
24 GOD is SPIRIT, and those who will worship HIM, must worship in the SPIRIT and Truth.
25. The woman tells Him, I am aware that Mashiach is coming, who is called Christ, whenever He comes, (He) will announce all things in detail to us.
26. Jesus tells her, I AM, the One Who is preaching to you.
Agape-love transcend religious enmity between Jews and Samaritan
27 and upon this thing, His disciples came and wondered, for preaching with the woman. Even though no one asks, what are You seeking? Or why preaching with her?
28. The woman then left her waterpot, and went away into the town, to tell the men,
29. Come here, and see a Man Who has told me everything, as many as, I have done. Is this not the Christ?
30. So, they proceed forth out of the town, and come towards Him.
Jesus teaches on evangelism and He keeps it simple (KIS)
31. In the meantime, the disciples ask Him, saying, Rabbi, eat.
32. But, He says to them, I have food to eat, of which you are not aware of.
33. Then, the disciples say towards one another, has someone ever offered Him something to eat?
34. Jesus tells them, my food is to do, at least, the desire of the ONE Who sent Me, and to complete HIS works.
35. You do say, isn't there four months yet, for the harves to come? Behold, I tell you, raise up your eyes, and closely look at the farm, they are already white (very-light) towards reaping.
36 as you will receive wages for harvesting fruits even by gathering unto everlasting Life; at least, the one who sow and the one who harvest will be cheerful at the same time.
37 for in this, is the truthful words: that as one sow even another will reap.
38. I will send you out to reap what you have not worked-hard for; because, another one will work-hard, and you will enter into his labour.
Samaritans have faith in Jesus; the only means that unite the whole world.
39. So, many Samaritans from the town, have faith unto Him; through the word of the woman who testified that, He told me of all things, as much as I have done.
40 Therefore, as the Samaritans come towards Him, they demanded from Him to stay with them, and He stays there for two days.
41. And many more people have Faith, through His words;
42. In addition, they tell the woman, we no longer have Faith through your speech; for we have heard by ourselves and we are aware that truly, this is the Saviour of the world.
Jesus is welcome back to Galilee
43. Moreover, within two days, He proceeds forth from that place, into Galilee.
44 however, Jesus Himself had testifes that, a Prophet has no honour in his own native town (father-land),
45 therefore, when He comes into Galilee, the Galileans accepts Him, as much as they have seen all the things (He) did, in the festival (holy-day) in Jerusalem; because, they also went to the festival.
Miracles are the evidence given to support gospel: a Son of a royal-officer of Herodian, was healed (Lk 8:3)
46. He therefore goes again unto Cana of Galilee, where water was made into wine. And there has been a certain royal-official, whom his son was sick in Capernaum.
47. The same man heard that Jesus from Judea arrive here into Galilee, and goes away towards Him, to at least ask Him to come down, and cure his son; who is about to die off.
48. Then Jesus tells them, except they see signs and wonders, they will never have faith.
49. The Royal-official man tells Him, Lord, come down before my child die off.
50. Jesus tells him, go forth, your son lives, the man believed the word that Jesus tells him, and go away.
51. So, as he is going down, his servants met him, and tell him, your son lives already.
52. then, he enquires from them, the hour in which he get more well; and they therefore tells him, by seventh hour (1pm) yesterday, the fever (with high temperature) left him.
53 therefore, the father knows that, (it was) in that same hour, in which Jesus told him: your son lives, and himself and the whole family have Faith.
54. This again is the second time Jesus did a miracle, as He goes out of Judea into Galilee.
