Mark 15

Jesus was tried before Heathen-Governor and was delivered to be killed

@ Ash Wednesday morning

1 And immediately at dawn, the Chief Priests do consultation, with the Sahendrists, and Scribes, and all the joint session (Sahendrin) bound Jesus and carried Him away, to be delivered to Pilate (Firm).

2 and Pilate questioned Him, are You the King of the Jews? But He answered and said, you have been told.

3 and the Chief Priests accuse Him so much.

4 Pilate questions Him again, saying, why don't you answer anything? SEE, how many things You are accused of!

5 But, Jesus no longer answers anything, so that Pilate wonders.

Substitutional sacrifice of Jesus Christ for [Jesus] BarAbbas

6. Moreover, on the feast-day of Passover, one prisoner, whom they specially desire should be released to them.

7 and BarAbbas (son of his father) has been spoken of, who was bound amid fellow rebels (insurgents), someone who in the insurrection committed murder.

8 So, just as he has been doing for them, the crowd begins to demand, as he is going up,

9 but, Pilate answers them, saying, do you want me to release the king of the Jews for you?

10 for, he knows that the Chief Priests surrender Him because of envy.

11 So, Chief Priests stir up the crowd, at least in a greater degree, to release BarAbbas for them.

12 So, Pilate again answers, and tell them, what then do you want to be done to whom you call the king of the Jews?

13 And again, they scream; crucify Him!

14 So, Pilate tells them, what injurious harm has He committed? But, they scream the more, crucify Him! (impale Him on a post/stake). 

15 And, as Pilate was willing to do things worthwhile to the crowd, he at least flogged BarAbbas and released him to them, and Jesus, was delivered up, at least to be crucified.

Calvary of Soldiers (Elohim) mocked Jesus (Mark omitted discussion that leads to the journey to Herod Palace on Wednesday Lk 23:7) 

16 Moreover, the soldiers lead Him away to interior of the palace, which is the Praetorium (Herod judgment hall (Act 23:35)), and even call all the band/squad together. 

17 and they put purple (red blue dyed) garments on Him, and placed, a plaited wreath of thorns around Him.

18 and they begins to greet Him, we Hail, you, king of the Jews!

19 and they strike His head with a stick/reed, and spit on Him, and were  placed upon their knees to worship Him. 

20 And while mocking Him, they take the purple garment off Him, and put His own robe on Him; and they led Him out, at least to crucify Him.

Jesus was crucified on the tree, and mocked by priests and people on Thursday (a day after the holyday)

21 and they compelled someone passing by, Simon, the cyrenean, the father of Alexander (man defender) and Rufus (red), who was coming from a farm/field, into public service, at least to carry up His pole/stake.

22 and they brought Him upon Golgotha (a skull-like knoll near Jerusalem), a place which is translated, place of skull.

23 and they gave Him, wine tinctured with MYRRH (as analgesic); but which He did not take. (cf: myrrh might be more accurate than bile of Matt 27:34) 

24 and having crucified Him: to divide His garment, they cast lot upon it, for who is who, that will lift/take it away.

25 And, it was the third hour (9 am), that they crucified Him.

26 and written as the inscription of His accusation was: the KING OF THE JEWS.

27 and two robbers were CRUCIFIED TOGETHER with Him; one from right hand to Him, and one from left hand. 

28 + and the scripture was fulfilled, which says; and He was reckoned amidst the lawless (Isa 53:12) +. 

29 and those who are passing by blaspheme Him, moving their heads, saying, Wow! The one to demolish the temple and build it in three days; 

30 oh save yourself, by coming down from the stake!

31 Similarly, even the Chief Priests, were mocking towards one another, with the Scribes saying, He saves others, He can not save Himself.

32 what a christ, the king of Israel! Come down now from the pole/stake, at least for us to clearly discern and have Faith! And (one), Crucified TOGETHER with Him reviled Him.

JESUS died at 3pm on the tree

33 And as it happens to be sixth hour (12pm), it becomes dark upon all the earth, until the ninth hour (3pm);

34 And by the ninth hour (3pm), the big part is, the SOUND of Jesus, shouting: el-oi el-oi, saba-kchathan-i lamah lam-mah? Which is translated, Eli, so lofty (עלי- H9541), from Grandpas (סבא) to the younger ones/small things (katan-H6996), LEADER, how/why, for what reason (H4100)?

[quote: this was the SOUND and a voice of somebody, truly in pain, lamenting over pain caused by Adam, Eli (the priest) and co. So, what was written down is the transliteration/pronunciation of the Hebrew words. Note: Father God, will never and never forsake His Loved Son] 

35 and some of those standing by, who heard Him, says, behold, He calls EliJah. (quote: that means, those bystanders were not Hebrew, and what He shouted was not precisely eloi but eli)

36 but, one (soldier) hastily run and fill a sponge entirely with vinegar (sour wine), and place it around a stick, and gives Him to drink, and they said, leave Him alone, we will see if Elijah will come to bring Him down.

37 Moreover, the mega part is, the voice of Jesus: Forgive/Let go (of them), and He gave up the ghost (exhale). 

38 and the curtain of the temple tear/rend into two, from the top down to the bottom.

39 however, out of His antagonists, a  Centurion (captain of 100 soldiers) who stand by, see the way He gave up the ghost, and says, Truly! this Man is the Son of God.

40 and there were also women looking from distance, among whom are, Mary, a Magdalene, and Mary - (the mother) of little James and Joseph, and Salome (peace);

41 - who, when He had been in Galilee, were His attendant, followed Him and many others came up with Him unto Jerusalem.

Jesus was buried in a tomb on Thursday evening. 

42. So, it happens to be evening, and upon that, it is Preparation day already (6 pm Thursday to 6 pm Friday), which is a day before Sabbath (6pm Friday to 6pm Saturday)

43 Joseph from Arimathea (Ramah), - who is a Honorable councilor of Jewish Sahendrin (council), and who himself had been waiting for the Kingdom of God to come, - ventured to enter towards (Governor) Pilate and demand for the body of Jesus.

44 Howbeit, Pilate wondered, if He is already dead, and summon the Centurion (captain of one hundred soldiers), and question him, if He has died a while ago.

45 and having known from the Centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.

46 and he bought a linen-cloth, lower Him down, wrap Him in the linen-cloth, and lay Him in a tomb, which had been hewed out of mass of rock. And they roll a stone upon the entrance of the tomb.

47 So, Mary, from Magdala, and Mary the mother of Joseph looked at where He was laid.
