Mathew 19
Jesus was always on healing parole crusades
@ coast of Judea from Galilee
1 And it happens that, when Jesus completed these words, He withdraws from Galilee, and come into the coast line of Judea across Jordan.
2 And great crowd follow Him, and there He ministers healing to them.
Divorce: the postion of Torah and the place of Agape-Love
3 And Pharisees approach Him, testing Him, and say, is it lawful, if a man divorce his wife for all (logical) reasons?
4 However, He answers, and says, have you not read how they were originally formed from the early-time, for, they were made, a male and a female. (Ref: Gen 1:27, 5:2)
5 and said, on account of this, a man would leave behind his father and mother, and stick to his wife, and the two flesh will be into one? (Ref: Gen 2:24)
6 it is so much that, they are no longer two flesh, but one. Whom therefore, God has joined together, man should not put apart.
Giving of document of divorce, and the possibility of abuse of this provision of Moses' law
7 They tell Him, then why did Moses commanded to give a writing of divorcement and to free her fully.
8 He tells them, that Moses (lawgiver), permit you to divorce your wife towards the hardness of your heart; but it did not happen in that way, in the ancient-time.
9 However, I tell you, that whoever does not possibly divorce his wife, upon harlotry, and marry another, commit adultery; {and the one who marry the divorced commit adultery}.
Innocent divorcee would probably be subjected to remain unmarried (eunuchs)
10 His disciples tell Him, it is profitable not to marry, if the (logical) reasons for a man to be with a woman/wife is in this way.
11 So, He tells them, not all will yield/fit into this words, but to whom it is given.
12 because, there are eunuchs born this way from their mother's womb (impotent from birth), and there are eunuchs who are made eunuchs/to live unmarried under men (as slaves), and there are eunuchs who live unmarried by themselves (by choice), for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Those who are able to fit in, will fit in.
Jesus loves children
13 then, children are brought to Him, at least to lay hand on them, and make prayer. But, disciples prevent them (upon evaluation).
14 But, Jesus says, leave the children, and never prevent them from coming to Me; no doubt, of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15 And having laid hands on them, He takes a journey from there.
Selfishiness of rich people is their problem of coming into the kingdom
Still @ Judea from Galilee
16 And behold, one person approach Him, saying, Good-Teacher, what shall I do, at least to have eternal Life?
17 So, he asks, why talking about being good? It is one thing to be good, but, if you desire Zoe-Life to enter into you, keep My commandment.
18 he asks, which one? So, Jesus says, do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal, do not be a false-witness;
19 honor your father and mother; (Ref: Ex 20:12-16, Deut 5:16-20), love your neighbor as it were yourself. (Ref: Lev 19:18).
20 The young man tells Him, I have kept all these things (from youth), What do I still lack?
21 Jesus tells him, if you desire to be complete (of full age in character), go hence, sell possessions existing under you, and give the beggars, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come here to follow Me.
22 But, having heard the words, the young man goes away sorrowful; because he has many possessions.
23 Jesus however tells His disciples, I tell you, so shall it be, hardly will rich-men enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 However, again I tell you, it is easier for carmel to enter through needle eye, than for rich-men, to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 So, having heard this, the disciples were greatly amazed, saying, Ara (a heartfelt call to heaven), can they be saved?
Great men knows that everything they got is of God
26 however, Jesus look on them, and says, with weak men, it is (as) this, however, for the capable (men), their all/ everything is from God/for God.
The Rewards of chosen Christians that strive in winning souls is waiting for them in one thousand years reign of Jesus
27 Then Peter answers and tells Him, behold, we have left all and follow you; Ara (a heartfelt call to heaven) then, what is there for us?
28 So, Jesus tells them, I tell you and so shall it be, that you men, who have followed Me: in the restoration/fresh genesis, whenever the Son will seat down upon His throne of glory, even you will sit down upon twelve thrones, judging twelve tribes of Israel.
29 And everybody who left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, (or wife) or children, or lands on account of My Name, will receive hundred times, and inherit eternal Life.
30 But, many shall be foremost (in order/dignity) at the latter end, so, be a foremost at the latter end..(Mk 10:31)
