JOhn Chapter 20

John 20

Jesus is risen again on Sunday, the beginning of immortality. 

1. Moreover on day-one of Sabbath week, Moriah/Mary Magdalene came into the tomb at dawn, it was still dark, and can see the stone, lifted away from the tomb.

2. Then, she walked hastily and went towards Simon Peter, and the other disciple whom Jesus likes. And she said, they have taken away the Lord from the tomb, and she is not aware of where they laid Him.

3. Then Peter and the other disciple proceeded forth, and came unto the tomb.

4. So, the two, walked hastily together, but the other disciple run forward more swiftly, than Peter, and comes first into the tomb.

5. And stooped down, looking at the linen-clothes lying outstretched; though he did not enter indeed. 

6. then, Simon Peter who was following him, came, and entered into the tomb, and saw the linen-clothes (bandages) lying outstretched. 

7. And the towel, which was upon His head, was not lying outstretched with the linen clothes, but was separately folded up unto a place.

8. Then, at this time, even the other disciple, who has come first into the tomb, entered, and clearly discern and have Faith/believe;

9. For, they are aware of the scripture, that, it is even very certain (no gainsay), He must rise again from the dead.

10. The disciples then, go away again towards themselves.

Moriah/mary Magdalene saw the risen Lord

11. But, Moriah/mary stand outside towards the tomb weeping. Therefore, as she wept, she lean over/stoop down unto the tomb,

12. And she saw two Angels in white, sitting down, one towards the head, and one towards the feet, where the body of Jesus was laid.

13. The same (Angels) told her; woman, why are you weeping? She told them, that, they have taken away my Lord, and I am not aware of where they laid Him.

14. Having said this, she turned to the back, and saw Jesus standing, but she was not aware that He is Jesus.

15. Jesus tells her, Woman, why are you weeping? And who do you seek? She thinks that he is the gardener. So, she told him, if you have removed the Lord, tell me where you place Him, and I will take Him up.

16. Jesus tells her, Moriah/mary. Having turned around she tells Him in Aramaic, Rabboni which is to say, Teacher.

17. Jesus said: there is no gainsay, at all, for I will never be touched/influenced by them for going up towards the FATHER; so, go towards My brethren, and tells them, I Am going up/ascending toward My FATHER, and your FATHER, and even My God and your God.

18. Moriah/mary, a Magdalene, went to announce to the disciples, I have seen the Lord, and she said those things.

The commissioning of the Apostles/Disciples on Sunday evening. 

19. By the evening of that same 'day-one' of Sabbath-week, even the doors of where disciples are, were shut, because of the fear of the Jews. Then, Jesus came and stood unto the middle of them, and said, Peace be unto you.

20. And having said this, He shows them the hands and His rib/side, then the disciples rejoice to have seen the Lord.

Thomas only believes after he sees the proof and he never refer to Jesus as Jehovah-God. 

21. Jesus again tells them, Peace be unto you, just as the FATHER has dispatched Me onba mission, even I have sent you.

22. And having said this, He blows/breathe (in and out) on them and said, take the Holy SPIRIT.

23. Any one you possibly forgive/let go of his sin, will be forgiven/let go, and of anyone you possibly retain, it will be retained.

24. Moreover, Thomas called Dydimus, who is one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

25. Therefore, as other disciples told him, we have seen the Lord; he however told them, except I see the scars of nails in His hands, and thrust my fingers into the scars of the nails, and even thrust my hand into His rib, I will never believe.

26. Amid eight days, His disciples were inside and the door was shut. And Thomas was with them, so Jesus again came and stood in the middle, and said, Peace be unto you.

27. Then, He told Thomas, bring your fingers here, and be aware of My Hands; and bring your hand, and thrust into My Rib; and do not be an infidel/unbeliever, but be a faithful/trustworthy one. 

28. And Thomas answered and told Him, my Lord; oh my God! (in exclamation). 

Blessed are believers who will not see but believe 

29. Jesus tells him, you believe, because you see Me; supremely blessed are those who will not see Me, and have Faith.

30. Jesus indeed performed many other miracles then, in the sight of  His disciples, which were not written in this book;

31. However, these things were written, at least for you to believe that Jesus, the Son of God is the Christ (Messiah) and at least, those who have Faith in His Name will have Zoe-Life.
