Luke 19

Jesus eventually meet a Rich-man, Zacchaeus and he got saved

1 And as He travels along, He enters Jericho,

2 And behold, a man by name, Zacchaeus, has been a chief-tax-collector and wealthy was called forth.

3 And who has been seeking to see Jesus from the crowd, but can not, because he was small in stature.

4 And he ran forward to the front and climb up on a sycamore-fig tree, at least, to see Him, for He is about to pass that way.

5 And as Jesus comes upon the place, Jesus looked up, and says to him, Zaccheaus, make haste to come down; for, I must abide in your house, this day

6 And he comes down, in haste, rejoicing to entertain Him hospitably.

7 And having seen this, all people murmur, saying, that He enters to lodge near a sinful man.

8 So, Zaccheaus stands and says to the Lord, behold, Lord, I will give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have falsely-reported or calumniated/defrauded anyone, I will restore it four-fold.

9 So, Jesus says to him, salvation will happen to be unto this house today, in as much as they are children of Abraham:

10 no doubt, Son of man has come to seek, and to save from being lost.

Parable of an opposed but victorious strict-leader, who give each of his ten servants his record of money to continue transactions in his absence.

11 Moreover, as they heard these things, He adds a parable, and he speaks because he is near to Jerusalem, and they think that the kingdom of God is about to freely show up at no cost.

12 Therefore, He says, a certain high-rank noble-man travels onto a distant region, and will return to take back his own kingdom.

13 so, he calls ten servants towards himself, and gives the ten his record (mna), and says to them, be negotiating/be busy (pragmateuonai) till I come.

14 But, his town's men hate him, and send delegates behind him, saying, we don't want this man to reign upon us.

15 and he happens to return, and take hold of the kingdom. So, he calls these servants to himself and speak to whom he has given money, at least to know who and how much, they totally got occupied with/negotiated.

16 So the foremost approaches, saying, lord, your record, has been worked forward by ten more records (mnas).

17 And he tells him, good servant, well done (eu)! For, you happen to be faithful in little, you will be having authority over ten cities.

18 And the second comes, saying, lord, your record (mna), has been executed by five more records. 

19 So, he tells even this one also, you will happen to be up above/over five cities.

20 and another (servant) comes, saying, lord, see, your record, which I have, is spread out away in a towel.

21 for, I fear you, for you are a strict man; you take up what you did not put down and harvest what you did not sow.

22 He tells him, evil servant, you will be judged from your mouth.  are you aware that I am a strict/austere man, who take up what I did not place down and harvest what I did not sow,

23 and upon it, for what reason, you didn't give it to me, and I would have possibly come for money together with interest on table of those who repeatedly execute things?

24 And he speaks to those standing by/representatives: take away the record away from him, and give to the one having ten records (mnas). 

25 And they tell Him, Lord; he had ten records.

26 I tell you that, all who will hold on to a possesions will be given; but from the one who will not hold on to a thing, even that which he has, will be taken away.

27 Nevertheless, bring here and slay before me, those who are my ENEMIES , who did not want me to reign over them.

Royal entry of Jesus to Jerusalem

28 And having said this, He went ahead in front going up to Jerusalem.

29 And as He happens to be drawing near to Bethphage (fig-house) and Bethany (date-house), towards the mount of Olive, He sends two of His disciples,

30 saying, go and enter into the opposite village, in which, you will find a young ass tied, and on which, not even one man at any time sit down. Untie and bring it.

31 in case, anyone asks you, the reason why you untie it? Talk this way: because the Lord has need of it.

32 So, those who are sent departs, and they find it as He told them.

33 and, having untied the young-ass, its lord says to them, why untying the young ass?

34 So, they say that, the Lord has need of it.

35 And they lead it to Jesus; and cast their garments upon the young-ass, and make Jesus to mount it.

36 So, as He is going forth, they spread their garments on the way.

37 and, even now as He draws near towards the slope, down mount olives, the mega part is the voice of the whole multitude of disciples, who begin to rejoice and praise God, toward all the mighty-deeds, they have seen,

38 saying, blessed (to be spoken well of) and glory to the King, coming in the Name of the SUPREME God (Ps 118:26). Peace with The HIGHEST-ONE in Heaven.

39 And certain Pharisees from the crowd say to Him, Teacher, rebuke (base on evaluation) your disciples.

40 And He answered and said, I tell you, in case these ones are screaming to stones, they would be silenced.

Jesus laments over Jerusalem

41 As He was near and see the city, He wept upon her. 

42 saying, if you had known, today, that these things are towards your Peace; howbeit, they are hidden from your eyes now.

43 for the day will arrive here upon you, that your enemies will be a standing-army to barricade you; and surround to besiege you on all sides.

44 and raze/level you to the ground and will not leave a stone on another stone in you for your children who don't know the set time of your visitation.

Jesus discipline and enforce decorum in the temple 

45 And He enters into the temple, and begins to cast out those selling and buying in it.

46 saying to them, it is written that, even MY house shall be a house of oratory prayer (Is 56:7); but you have made it a cave/hiding place of robbers. (Jer 7:11). 

47 And, He has been teaching throughout the day in the temple; so the chief-Priests and the Scribes and the foremost of the people are seeking how to fully-destroy Him. 

48 but, they could not find what to do, for all people are attentive to listen to Him.
