Mark Chapter 2

Mark 2

Jesus free a paralyzed man of his sin by Emperor unction.

@His house in Carpernaum,

1. And again, He enters into Capernaum; and having heard that, He has been in the house throughout the day;

2 even very many people convened, such that, they no longer have space, not even towards the entrance; as He preaches the words to them.

3. And coming towards Him, is a paralyzed man, carried and lifted up by four men.

4. And they can not come near to Him because of the multitude, so, they uncover the roof (thatch) where He has been, and having removed it, they lowered the bed where the paralytic was lying.

5. and Jesus stared at their Faith (persuasion), and told the paralytics, son, I let you go of your sins.

6. But, there are some Scribes there, who are deliberating in their hearts:

7. What a blasphemey! why would this Man talked this way? Who is able to let-go of sin, if not The only ONE, God?

8. And immediately, Jesus perceived by His Spirit, what they deliberate in themselves, and He told them, why are you deliberating on these things in your heart?

9. Which one is an easy task; to say to the paralytics, I let go of your sins, or, rise up, lift up your bed, and walk?

10. But, at least, you are aware that children of Adam have Authority {upon earth to forgive/let go of sins) - so, having spoken to the paralyzed man,

11. who has risen up, He says, you, lift up your bed, and go away unto your house.

12. And he arose and lift up his bed and immediately proceeds forth in front of everybody; in such a way that, everyone was amazed, and glorified God, saying that, not even at any time, we see (things) in this way.

@ sea side, a Levite (Matthew=H4993) (decath collector) that changed to tax collector was changed to new-age people's collector instead.

13. And again, He proceeds close to the sea, and all the people come towards Him, and He teaches them.

14. and as He passed along, He stares at a levite (*levis), and tells him, follow me. **INSTEAD of sitting down, receiving custom upon the tax booth, he stands up to follow Him.

 [note: * levvis means "of the tribe of Levi" ; and ** (alphaeus was wrongly translated as a name from the Hebrew word=H2501 meaning "instead or exchange"] 

15. And He happens to sit at a meal in His house, because, very many people have been following Him and very many tax collectors even sinners sit at table with Jesus and His disciples. 

16. So, the Scribes and the Pharisees, see Him eating amid the sinful tax collectors, and ask His disciples, why is it that He, even eats amid the tax collectors, who are sinners?

17. And Jesus heard them and says, those people with strength, have no need of a physician, but those who have sickness. I have not come to call the Righteous ones, but the Sinners (to repentance). 

Jesus responded to why His disciples will not fast now like others.

18. And the disciples of John (the baptizer) and those of Pharisees have been on fasting. So, they come even to ask Him; because of why are the disciples of John and disciples of Pharisees, fast, but Your disciples do not fast?

19. And Jesus asks them, can the sons of bride-chambers, in which there is a bridegroom, be fasting with him? Never. As long as they have the bridegroom amid them, it is not the time they can fast.

20. But, days are coming, when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and by that time, they will fast in those days.

21. Not even one person, will sew an untreated/raw patch (emblem) upon a torn piece of cloth. If at all, there will happen to be a worse split/tear, away from the old garment. Moreover, at the fullness/completion of the modern/new age, THEY will be lifted/separated away from the old. (Matt 9:16).

22. And not even one person will pour fresh wine into an old leather-bottle; and if at all, the leather-bottle will burst and the wine will spill out, even the leather-bottle and the wine will perish. On the contrary, at new-age, wine will be poured into a fresh leather-bottle.

Sons of Adam are to be in charge over their sabbath (Rest)

23. And it happens on a sabbath day, as He passes through a corn-field, and His disciples begins to pluck the heads/ears of grains which are being PRODUCED on the way. 

24. and the Pharisees ask Him, behold, why doing things which is not lawful (on) the Sabbath?

25. And He told them, haven't you ever read at any time, what David did, when he had need and those with Him were famished?

26. How he entered into the house of God in the day of Abiathar, the High-Priest, and ate show-bread (set forth bread), and give those that were together with him, which is not lawful to eat, except the priests.

27. And He told them, Sabbath/rest had come into being because of man, and not man because of Sabbath. 

28 therefore, the sabbath of the SUPREME LORD is also for the sons of Adam. (Matt 12:8).
